Sungjong_POV

I should have known better than to believe that everything would work out like I had hoped it would. Tears started to fall from my eyes as I discreetly left the convention center. I'm just glad that I got to see her in real life. To know that she really exists and is not just a figment of my imagination.

"I hope she'll be happy with him" I sobbed as I walked back to the hotel.

Once I got back to our suite, The guys came running over to me and Sunggyu asked "Where have you been?"

Noticing my tear stained face, Hoya grabbed me by the shoulder and asked "What happened?"

"I'm kind of tired right now" I said with a hoarse voice.

"Okay" Sunggyu tried to sound upbeat. "Why don't you go and rest first. We can talk later."

"Thanks Hyung" I smiled as I walked to my room.

The moment my door closed, I could hear the guys gossiping amongst themselves.

"What do you think happened?" Sungyeol asked.

"It looked as though he'd been crying" Myungsoo said.

"You don't think it has something to do with his girlfriend, do you?" Woohyun asked the most obvious question and everyone went silent.

"Why don't we go out and let Sungjong get some rest?" Sunggyu suggested and the others all quickly agreed.

I heard them rummaging around to get their stuff and shuffling towards the door. When I heard the door close, I collapsed on to my bed and cried myself to sleep.

Melody_POV

After talking things through with Charles, we agreed to still be friends. I know it will take him some time to get over his feelings and that I'm being selfish by still wanting him by my side, but I couldn't stand to loose him as my friend right now. I needed him by my side to help me forget about loosing Sungjong.

"Today was really fun!" I smiled as we left the concert. "The music is really cool too!"

"I knew you would like it once you got a chance to listen to it" Charles smiled back at me.

"Where are we going now?" I asked.

"Well, they arranged a room for you at a nearby hotel" he replied. 

"Really?" I was shocked. "But I didn't bring a change of clothes!"

"They thought of that too" he chuckled. "Apparently, they even arranged for one of the Kpop group's stylists to come and give you a makeover for the convention. They will probably come by your room early in the morning, so don't be too surprised. Also, they might not speak English fluently."

"Wow! A real VIP experience!" I giggled. "This is so surreal."

"Well.... you deserve it" he half smiled. I could see that he was still in pain from my rejection, but he was doing his best to not let it bother him. "I'll come and pick you up at your hotel room tomorrow and we can go over the schedule for the day."

"Sounds good" I smiled.

We got to the hotel, I checked in and then went to my room and collapsed on the bed.

"What a day!" I sighed. I rolled over on to my side and quickly drifted off to sleep.

When I opened my eyes, I was shocked to see Sungjong standing in front of me. "Sungjong!" I happily called out to him as I ran over to him. I wrapped my arms around him as tears fell from my eyes. "I thought I had lost you. That I'd never see you again" I sobbed.

Sungjong_POV

"I didn't think I would find myself here again" I sighed. This place had so many memories of Melody that I had almost wished it would disappear. 

Just as I was about to leave, I heard Melody call my name. "Sungjong!" She ran over to me and wrapped her arms around me. "I thought I had lost you. That I'd never see you again" she sobbed against my chest.

I was so stunned by her sudden appearance, that it took me a while before I could come back to my senses. "What are you doing here?" I asked accusingly.

Surprised by my tone, she looked up at me and froze. "Sung...jong..."

I took a couple of steps away from her so that I could think straight.

She took a calming breath before confidently saying "I love you Sungjong! I came here because I love you! I can't imagine my life without you!"

"You looked happy when you were with Charles earlier today" I pouted. "And it seems as though he really likes you too." My heart ached as I finished saying "Congratulations! I hope you two will be happy together." Tears had gathered in the corner of my eye and I tried my best not to let them fall, but one tear escaped. Melody walked over to me and gently wiped the tear away. Then she leaned forward and kissed me. I pulled away from her startled. "What are you doing?"

"Sungjong, you big goof" she said as she wrapped her arms around me and laid her head on my chest. "If you saw me, then you should have come over so that I could do this in real life" she said as a tear fell from her eyes.

"I didn't want to make a scene" I replied honestly. "Especially since it looked like you guys were.... together."

She quickly looked up at me sternly said "We're not together! I made it clear to Charles today that I don't have those types of feelings for him. We are only friends."

I sighed a little "Melody...."

She pulled away from me a bit and looked at me upset. Then she pouted and hit my chest.

"Huh? Why are you hitting me?"

"Because you were so close to me in real life and you didn't even come over and talk to me. You just walked away because you assumed that you would get in the way." She hit my chest a few more times. "You fool! Idiot! Jerk!"

I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight. "I'm sorry" I said as I squeezed her tight. "I didn't know what to do, I thought I had lost you!"

She pulled away from me and looked me dead in the eye. "That is when you're supposed to come over, grab my arm, pull me towards you and say that I'm your woman! Or did you forget that you've already proposed to me?" She playfully hit my chest and I blushed.

"I didn't forget" I bashfully replied.

"Well then" she raised her voice a little "what are you going to do now?"

I gave her a peck on the lips. "I'll see you tomorrow."

She raised her hand like she was going to hit me again "You better or else!"

I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a hug "I love you Melody! I promise, I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Ya! Sungjong!" I heard Sunggyu Hyung calling. "Wake up!"
