"So...you sure you wanna do this Zonic?" Zails asked as he looked at the blue zone cop packing his stuff up for three months for his travel to Sonic's world. Ever since Zonic made his mind up to stay with Sonic because of his suspension and also to take care of him, Zails had been upset. His little brother that always kept him company at times was gonna leave him for three months. What will he do without him? Zails' right ear twitches a bit as he heard Zonic zip up the zipper on his luggage

"Yeah, I'm sure I wanna do this! If I wasn't, I wouldn't be packing my shit now, would I?" Zonic replied, a warm smile on his face as he walked out the room with his older brother following right behind him. Zails smiled for a bit, but sighed as he came to the staircase

Zonic walked down the stairs as he went to his door and placed his last bag by the door, only to look up and see Zails' ears down a bit as he slowly walked down the stairs, stopping on the last step to look at the door. Zonic knows that Zails was gonna miss the hell out of him. Zonic walked over to Zails and placed a hand on the two-tailed fox as he smiled, looking into his blue sad eyes

"Man, it's gonna be lonely without you here, Zonic. Who's gonna be on my ass about the littlest shit?"Zails questioned as he smiled a bit, trying not to let the sadness get to him. Zonic chuckled a bit as he crossed his arms

"No one, but the others will keep you company until I get back."

"I know, I'ma just miss your bossy ass while you're gone." Zonic smiled a bit and looked up at the fox

"You sure you wanna do this? I mean, this is your last chance to back out?"

"Nah, I'ma go man. Beside I wanna be there for Sonic...I love that hedgehog will all my damn heart." Zonic replied, looking at the floor. Zails lowered his ears a bit, but smiled nonetheless. If this makes Zonic happy, then it makes him happy. All Zails wanted to was to make Zonic as happy as possible, but at times, others can find happiness in others as well. Zails nodded as he walked to the door and grabbed one of Zonic's bags as the hedgehog was right behind him

"Let's hurry and get you there before you have to wait another week to go." Zails stated as he gave Zonic a thumbs up, making the zone cop smile as they walked out of the house and to the car...

\\At The Zone Cop Academy//

Zamy and Zream were at the door waiting for Zonic and Zails to make their way in. Soon, when Zream spotted them, the other zone cops got into a straight line on the left or right side. Zails was the first one to walk in and smiled as Zonic was right behind him, a surprised expressed on his face as everyone started to cheer for him. The surprised expression soon changed into a smile as he walked up the stairs, getting led by Zamy and Zream. Zonic walked up to Zamy as she held a smile on her face

"Zamy, since you will be in charge, make sure everyone and everything stays organized while I'm gone. I don't wanna come back with shit all over the place." Zonic smirked, causing Zamy to roll her eyes

"Oh please Zonic, like I never run your shit when you're sick. Everything will be fine, as usual!" She replied, causing Zonic to softly smile, knowing that everything was, in fact, going to be alright while he was away

Zream opened the door, letting Zonic and Zails in first where the Sonic Team were resting up. Shadow and Knuckles were holding hands as they looked at their lookalikes, who were giving some information about relationships and stuff. Tails and Amy were having a small conversation while Sonic...wait...where was Sonic? Zonic looked around the room, looking for his lookalike. but couldn't find him until he felt his body almost drop due to a blue hedgehog jumping into his arms and hugging him

"Where have you been!? You was almost late!" Sonic stated as Zonic smiled and hugged his boyfriend tightly, giving him a peck on his lips

"I had to get something before we left." Zonic replied as Zails placed Zonic's bags by the machine. Zonic dug into his quills a bit to find a big box that was wrapped in gold with a silver ribbon. Sonic looked at Zonic as the zone cop placed the box in Sonic's hands. Sonic looked at the box and then back at Zonic, who held a smirk on his face. Sonic opened the box and covered his mouth as he saw, not one, but two rings. One was light blue with Zonic's name engraved on it and the other was emerald green with Sonic's name engraved on it. Sonic didn't know what to say, but looked at Zonic and smiled

"Z-Zonic, you really didn't have to do this!" Sonic gasped. Zonic took the blue ring and placed it on Sonic's finger

"But I did, love. I got these rings so when the time for us to split up comes around, we can always stay by each other because of these promise rings I had bought. No matter what...I'm always yours Sonic." Zonic spoke. Sonic placed his hands on Zonic's face and pulled him into a passionate kiss causing Zonic to smile and kiss back, making everyone awe at them, except Amy

"Oh my Chaos, get a room you two!" Zamy joked as Sonic and Zonic pulled away from their kissed and blushed

"Get a life, Zamy!" Zonic backfired, causing Zamy to blush and laugh a bit. Zails turned on the machine as it started to glow

"I-It's time!" Zails announced as Zonic grabbed his bags and hold Sonic's hands as they walked up to the portal. Zonic looked back at his crew and smiled as he nodded at them, signalling a goodbye as he and Sonic were the first to jump through. Shadow and Knuckles looked at their lookalikes and waved at them before they jumped through the portal. Amy was third, since she really didn't have anyone to say bye to and Tails was the last one to jump through, but he looked back at his lookalike and smiled

"It was nice working with you, Miles!" Tails saluted as he jumped through the portal, making the older smile as he shut off the machine

"It was a pleasure working with you too, Miles." The tall fox mumbled as he looked at the ground with a smile. Everyone sighed a bit, they knew that their boss was gonna be gone, but smiled knowing that he was happy...

{In Sonic's World}

"Welcome to Station Squ- OOF!" Zonic seen a peach figure zoom passed him and jump onto his boyfriend. He looked down and seem a creamed colored rabbit that looked like Zream

"Sonic, I've missed you!" The girl cried a bit. Sonic smiled and hugged her back

"Hey Cream, I've missed you too." Sonic replied to the girl. The gang soon helped them up and Sonic smiled at Zonic

"Zonic, this is Cream. Cream, this is my boyfriend, Zonic." Cream's eyes widened

"But...You guys look like the same person." Zonic and Sonic cringed a bit at that, causing Shadow to place a hand on Cream's shoulder, whispering something into her ear. Cream's eyes then widened again as a big "ohhh!" came from her mouth

"Cool! I'm glad you're both happy!" Cream smiled brightly, then greeting the others, giving Tails a kiss on the cheek

"Soooo, Cream's his girlfriend?" Zonic leaned over and whispered in Sonic's ear. Sonic smiled a bit and nodded

"I'm glad you ran into me. Where have you guys been? The gang and I have been looking for you guys everywhere! Meaning just Rouge, Silver, Blaze, and I really." Cream questioned as she laced her fingers with Tails and began to walk, the rest following her

"How long were we gone?" Knuckles questioned

"Four months, almost five." The gang's eyes widened, Zonic looking confused

"FOUR MONTHS!?" They screamed, getting some weird looks from other people around them. They shushed up. Cream giggled

"Yes, four months. I'm surprised you you guys didn't know." Cream smiled a bit. She led them to Rouge's house, Cream knocking on the door, only for Rouge to swing it open and her to jump onto Knuckles, who luckily caught her with ease

"Knuxies! Shadow! Where the hell have you guys been!? I was worried sick!" Rouge questioned as she got out of Knuckles' arms and hugged Shadow tightly

"It's a um...long story..." Shadow chuckled, pointing over to Zonic, who was smiling nervously. Rouge seen him and her eyes widened a bit. She opened her mouth to greet him, but Sonic stopped her

"Introductions inside the house so I don't have to constantly do this over and over?" Sonic pointed out. Rouge giggled before agreeing with him. They all then entered the house

"We were hanging out in the gaming room so we can just go there." Rouge stated as the rest of the gang nodded their heads. They were led to the gaming room, where they seen Silver and Blaze playing Wii Sports

"Guys, pause the game!" Rouge laughed when she seen Silver's character get knocked out, the silver hedgehog groaning as Blaze's arms went up in victory. Sonic went along and did introductions and the gang, after that, began to talk about how they ended up disappearing for quite some time and why they couldn't get back. They also decided that it was best to tell the gang about the 'Amy and Scourge' situation, which Silver, Blaze, and Rouge couldn't exactly believe since they thought Amy was such a lovely girl. They included the relationships that blossomed and so on, so forth

"So, you're telling me, that you fell in love with yourself?" Silver wondered. Sonic, who was leaning on Zonic, smiled a bit

"In your words, yes. In my words, no." Sonic chuckled

"You guys look exactly the same though! With only a few things different! How could you not think that you haven't fallen in love with yourself?" Silver was a bit confused

"His actions are different than mines, he doesn't run everyday like I do, he doesn't do the things that I do, we're actually quite different." Sonic smiled a bit, a small yawn coming out of him as he interlocked his and Zonic's fingers. Blaze had smiled and looked down to see the rings on the boys fingers, her eyes widening

"Did you boys get married that quickly!?" Blaze questioned. Sonic and Zonic blushed darkly

"N-No! I just got the both of us promise rings!" Zonic pointed out. Silver, Rouge, and Blaze sighed in relief, the other members of the gang laughing a bit

"Oh! Zonic, I forgot to ask! How does your universe look?" Silver questioned. Zonic smirked a bit

"Well, my universe is sort of similar to yours, as far as I've seen. Yet my universe is a bit darker. We arrest villains, we most of the time never have to result to killing...but it's had to happen before." Zonic explained. Silver nodded

"In my world, there is also every other version of everyone here in this universe, is technically in my universe, just different." Zonic explained

"Oooo!~ So now am I in the other universe?" Rouge questioned in excitement. Zonic's eard went down in sadness as he looked away from Rouge

"Heh, that's why I haven't been able to look at you for a bit..." Zonic quietly mumbled. Rouge looked confused

"Why?" The gang was all confused now

"Well...In my universe, you died saving your girlfriend..." Rouge frowned, but her face lit up red

"W-Who was my girlfriend...?" Rouge wondered. Zonic sighed and nodded over to Amy, whose face lit up red

"Yeah, that's why Zamy ended up moving in with Zream because she didn't wanna be by herself after her girlfriend's death."

"W-What!?" Both girls shouted in embarrassment and shock, looking at each other. They blushed harder and looked away, both not knowing what to say

"Awww! That's so cute! You guys would look so cute together!" Sonic stated, making sure the subject doesn't go back to anything that has to do with Zonic's universe. Amy fell over and Rouge's wings spread from behind her back, helping her take flight into the air

"WELL THAT WAS A GREAT CONVERSATION, BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE PLEASE!?" Amy and Rouge both exclaimed at the same time. The whole gang laughed a bit. As the conversation continued between the group of friends, it was becoming dark outside

"Oh! I have an idea! We should take Zonic to Twinkle Park!" Cream suggested. The gang nodded as Zonic looked confused

"Oh, you're gonna love it officer. Come on!" Sonic flirted a bit. Zonic smirked

"Officer? That's new." Zonic flirted back

"Ewwww." Silver playfully let the sound fall from his lips. Sonic and Sonic blushed darkly. They had forgotten that their friends were with them

"Ahem, l-let's just go have some fun..." Sonic grabbed Zonic's lead him out of the house with the gang following...

{Time Skip}

"This place looks awesome!" Zonic gushed a bit, before catching himself and coughing

"Did you just gush?" Sonic teased. Zonic glared at him

"Shut up, I didn't."

"Welcome to Twinkle Park!" Rouge interrupted, dramatically raising a hand to the sign above their heads with the name of the park on it

"This fair park includes loads of rides that will blow your mind good sir!" Cream joined, raising her hand to the sign as well

"Only $5 to get in just to have the time of your life!" Silver joined in between Rouge and Cream, raising a hand up as well. The gang slightly giggled at them, some strangers around also laughing at the presentation. The gang paid their way in and Sonic watched as Zonic's face changed from smiling to utterly shocked. The park was stunning and huge!

"Amy and Cream, y'all are coming with me!" Rouge squealed and grabbed the girls' hands, slightly flying between them as she pulled them along. Before they were able to disappear from sight, Zonic noticed the dark blush on Amy's muzzle and chuckled a bit to himself. Silver, Blaze, and Tails were the next trio to disappear, Shadow and Knuckles disappearing as well, holding each other's hands tightly

"That just leaves us Officer." Sonic chuckled a bit, grabbing Zonic's hand. Zonic smirked and intertwined their fingers together

"Yes, yes it does." The couple began to walk around, knowing that they were getting strange looks from some of the figures around them. They did look exactly like each other so they knew why people were looking at them the way they were, but they ignored the glances. They loved each other, no one, except their friends, would ever understand how they came to be or even why it happened

"Ahh, there it is." Zonic, eyes filled with confusion, looked up to where Sonic was looking to see a tall Ferris Wheel. Zonic looked at Sonic and seen the happy glint in his eyes. The very slightly darker blue hedgehog chuckled a bit. His boyfriend was so cute

"Come on! We have to get in line!" Zonic followed his blue lover as he dragged him to the line for the Ferris Wheel, it took a while before they were on, but soon, they had gotten onto the ride, Sonic having a wide smile on his face. The ride started to move up slowly, stopping every once in a while. Zonic seen Sonic's eyes light up as he looked at the sky from where they were seated, the stairs sparkling in a dazzling way, making Sonic shine. Zonic's eyes had widened and his mouth fell open, a blush coming over his face. Since when was his boyfriend....this handsome? I mean, it's not that he didn't already think his boyfriend was handsome, but this...this was an entirely different level. His emerald green eyes sparkled ever so lightly with the stars just gleaming on his eyes

"I love you..." Zonic mumbled out loud. Sonic blushed darkly, slowing turning around to Zonic, who was staring at him intensely

"W-What?"

"I love you. I love everything about you. Your eyes, your style, your laugh, your everything. You're just...so fucking perfect..." Zonic gushed, scooting closer to Sonic. Sonic's heart began to race, his palms becoming sweaty. He had never felt so happy

"I-I...I love you too." Zonic smiled and leaned forward, capturing his boyfriend's lips into a tender kiss

"I-love-you-so-much." Zonic spoke between each kiss. Sonic smiled within the kiss, feeling tears began to fall down his face. Zonic eventually pulled away, smiling brightly at his lover. He pulled Sonic and held him within his arms, making sure not to hurt him. Sonic sighed in content as he laid his head on his boyfriend's chest, purring a bit. They were happy and nothing was gonna stop them from being happy. They loved each other, cared for one another and nothing and/or no one was gonna change that...
