Jennifer's POV:

I was waiting outside a large mansion with Annabelle. She decided that since it was the first time I was going to Arielle's party so she thought it would be better if we went together. We've been waiting for about 2 minutes now.
"When are they going to open the door." I asked Annabelle.
"Soon...I hope." She responded and knocked on the door again.

Someone finally opened the door it was a very tall guy, about 6"5 about was very muscular. As soon as he opened the door we were greeted with extremely loud music. He asked us "Are you guys here for the party?" in his deep voice.
"Yes." Annabelle responded.
"Invites?" The guy said simply.
Annabelle held up her invite and the guy let her in. I followed suit but the guy blocked my path.

"Where's your invite?" He asked.
Annabelle then spoke up for me saying "Adrianna has her invite."
"Well I can't let you in if i don't see it." The guy said.
"Hey guys." I heard a female voice say.

Well speak of the devil.

"What's the problem Harrison?" Adrianna asked.
"This woman says that you have her invitation." The man named Harrison said to her. Adrianna peeked around the man and saw me and waved.
"Oh hey Jennifer glad you could make it." She said and then turned her attention to Harrison and said "Let her in." and walked away.

He looked at me and the stepped aside and let me in, closing the door behind him. Annabelle and I walked down a somewhat fairly long hallway and were greeted by a door. Annabelle opened the door and the smell of alcohol and weed combined with the loud music hit me. I looked around and saw a whole bunch of people dancing,most of them drunk, others on the couch making out.

Annabelle grabbed my hand and spoke over the loud music and said "Let's go to the kitchen!" and started to drag me. We got into the kitchen and it was somewhat quieter here.

I looked around the kitchen and saw that there was a whole bunch of different drinks out and there was also a bar with a bartender. On one of the counters in the kitchen were 2 different groups of solo cups with signs on top of them. On top of the solo cups on the left the sign said "With a little stuff in it." And the one of the right said "Plain."

Annabelle grabbed two "Plain" solo cups and handed one to me saying "Seeing as this is your first 'Arielle' Birthday party I guess there are some things I need to tell you. There are 3 different rooms for the party taking place in this house. In one of the rooms there are only teenagers, in the other room there is only adults and in the other is a combination of the two."

I nodded and she continued. "You can choose whatever room you wanna go in, it's your decision. She only has these rooms for her birthday parties because she doesn't want anyone 'catching cases' at her birthday party so don't worry her normal parties aren't like this."

"Is that all?" I asked Annabelle. She nodded her head "Let's find Arielle so we can give her her presents so that we can start this party." she said and took a sip of her drink.

We walked out of the kitchen and walked into a room. It was filled with teenagers so I was guessing this was the teenagers' room.
"I think she should be somewhere in here." Annabelle said.

We looked around for Arielle and we found her talking to Jacob. They were sitting down on a couch and she was laying on his shoulder and he had and arm wrapped around her shoulder and she was sipping from a solo cup. I grew jealous at them. I looked over to Annabelle and saw that she was somewhat angry too.

"There she is. Let's go." Annabelle said walking over to Arielle quickly. I followed after her.

We stopped in front of the couch and Annabelle spoke "Hey Arielle. Happy Birthday."
Arielle looked up at Annabelle and greeted her with a warm smile "Hey Annabelle." Arielle said and stood up from the couch and Jacob followed her suit.

Arielle looked over to Jacob and looked back over to Annabelle and saw that she was glaring daggers at Jacob and spoke "Hey Jacob can you leave us alone for a second."

"Are you sure you're going to be okay baby?" He asked her.
"Yea I'm sure." She told him and he walked away.

Annabelle than hugged Arielle and she hugged her back. They ended the hug and Annabelle said "I have a gift for you." She said handing the box she had over to Arielle.
"You didn't have to get me anything." Arielle said shyly.
"I wanted to get you something." Annabelle said back to her.

It seemed like they both forgot I existed so I spoke up "Hi Arielle."
Arielle turned to me and the smile on her face fell. Annabelle then said "Imma go get to partying." And walked away leaving me alone with Arielle.

"Why are you here?" Arielle asked rudely.
"Look Arielle can we go somewhere private so we can talk?" I asked her.
She looked like she was contemplating my question. "Okay." she said.

She grabbed my hand and I felt a spark at the contact. I looked up at her and she looked like she felt it too. She looked away and guided me through the room and into a hallway. We went up some stairs and she opened the door to what seemed like a living room. She let go of my hand and walked into the room and sat down on one of the couches. I closed the door behind me and walked over to the couch and sat down next to her.

"So what did you want to talk about? Oh wait I have an idea. Why are you here?" She asked impatiently.

She really hates me. I thought to myself.

"Your sister called me yesterday and said that she saw an invitation for me in the trash, so she asked me if I wanted to come."

"I'm going to kill her for that..." Arielle mumbled under her breath.

"Okay so why did you come?" She asked.

"Because I wanted to see you." I said without thinking.

She looked at me shocked and I quickly covered it up "I wanted to see you to apologize to you." Arielle stayed silent.
"I wanted to apologize for how I treated you on Friday. I don't know why I snapped so quickly and I saw that it was your birthday so that makes it even wor-"

Arielle interrupted me and said "Yesterday wasn't my birthday. Today is my birthday."

"Oh well Happy Birthday." I said to her "Sorry I didn't know today was your birthday and I honestly didn't even think you would allow me to stay here."
Arielle laughed at that and said "I wouldn't kick you out."

I looked down at my wrist and saw a bracelet that had my initials on it, I took it off and handed it to Arielle. "Here's your birthday present."

Arielle looked down and the bracelet and said "Oh no I can't take that it's yours."
I smiled at her "No I want you to have it." I said taking her hand and putting the bracelet on her wrist. "Here."

She smiled at me and I decided at that moment that she had the best smile I had ever seen.

"Thank you Jennifer." She said and did something I thought she never would, she hugged me. I immediately returned the hug. There then was a knock on the door. Arielle and I separated and Arielle said "Come in." The door opened and we saw that it was that girl from the basketball game.

I was truly starting to hate this girl.
"Oh hey Charlotte. What did you need." Arielle spoke.
"Um Jacob said for me to find you so you could be his beer pong partner." The girl said. Arielle looked at me and
I said "Don't worry about me Arielle go and have fun."
She flashed me an apologetic smile and said "Bye Jennifer." She got up from off the couch and walked away from me.

Before she left the room I yelled out to her "Arielle!" She turned in my direction and asked "What?"
"Did you drink from the 'Plain' solo cups or the solo cups 'with stuff in it'.
"Solo cups with stuff in it. Duh? The plain ones are so boring. Go out and have some fun Jennifer." She said smiling. I shook my head playfully and said "Of course you had those, and I'll try. You can go." She waved at me before closing the door.

That girl is something else. I thought to myself smiling. I decided to take Arielle's advice and loosen up and try to have some fun. I left the room and went back into the kitchen. I grabbed a solo cup that had "stuff in it." and chugged it down.

Man that was strong. I thought.
I went into the room that had teens and adults combined and partied. I had a lot of fun to be honest.

Then everyone was called. "Everybody into head the kitchen for the cake!" A voice yelled. Everyone slowly went into the kitchen. There was a huge cake sitting on top of a table with a number 1 and an 8 candle making the number 18. Arielle was standing next to it with a drunken smile on her face.

Adrianna came out from the crowd and said "On the count of three everyone!" She then counted down and everyone sang happy birthday to Arielle. Adrianna then cut the first slice of cake with Arielle and then pushed Arielle's face into it.

When Arielle came out from the cake everyone was laughing at the cake on her face and she said "Ha ha very funny, let me go and clean this up. Everyone enjoy the cake!" and licked some frosting from off of her face and the party then continued.

After a lot of drinking I had to pee. I took a timeout on the partying and went to go and find the bathroom. I ended up where all the bedrooms are and saw that one door was open.

Maybe that's the bathroom. I told myself.

I opened the door a little bit and I could have fainted right then and there.

I saw Arielle laying down on the bed with Annabelle on top of her, and they were kissing. I closed the door immediately.

My mind was just scattered. I left the party quickly and went outside to get some fresh air. I sat down on the sidewalk and images of them kept flashing in my head and I couldn't contain the tears anymore, they just kept falling.

"Are you okay?" I heard someone speak. I looked up at the person and saw that it was Adrianna.

"Yea," I said wiping my tears "I'm fine."
She sat down next to me on the sidewalk and spread her arms out. I looked at her weirdly.
"Cry." She said softly. And as if on command the tears starting to fall from my eyes again. I went into her arms and she wrapped them around me allowing me to cry.

I don't know how long we were there but she then spoke "Do you want me to take you home?"
I nodded my head and let go of her. She unwrapped her arms around me and stood up and extended a hand to help me which I gladly took. She led me to her car and drove me home was silent. She didn't pry anything out of me about it for the whole ride.

We got to my house and she stopped. I turned over to her and smiled. "Thank you." I said to her.
"No problem. If you need anyone to talk to or a shoulder to lean on I'll ways be here." She told me.
"Thank you Adrianna." I said smiling. "Bye Jennifer." Adrianna said.
"Bye." I said and closed her car door. I walked into my house and went into my bedroom and found Emily in the bed sleeping.

She lifted her head up a little bit and said "Hey baby how was the party?" She asked. I changed into my pajamas and laid down next to her in the bed. She turned around to face me and wrapped her arms around me. Images of Annabelle and Arielle kissing flooding through my head and I responded "Awful."

Arielle's POV:

We were on one of the guest bedrooms with her on top of me. She had my arms pinned on top of my head using one of her hands. The other hand was stroking my bare thigh. She was kissing on my neck when a picture of Jennifer flashed through my mind.

"Wait..." I said to her.
She lifted her head and looked at me and asked "What's wrong?"
"We can't do this." I said to her as she let go of my arms.
"I know but..." she trailed off and lifted herself off of me, allowing me to now sit up and get off the bed.
"I'm sorry Annabelle but we just can't." I said to her apologetically.

"Is there someone else?" She asked a little saddened.

Yes there's a someone else, and that someone else is Jennifer. I thought to myself.

I shook my head and said "No. We just can't, I'm sorry." And I left the room and went back to the party.

When I entered one of the party rooms I saw Charlotte and headed over to her.
"Where were you?" She asked over the loud music.
"In the bathroom. I needed to get away from everyone for a few." I lied to her.
"Oh okay, are you feeling better now?" She asked concerned.
I smiled at her and said "Yea thanks."
"So let's go dance." She said taking my hand and dragging me to the area where everyone was mainly dancing.

I was having a fun time with Charlotte, but there was an unsettling feeling in my stomach. A feeling that someone saw me with Annabelle.

And I had a gut feeling it was Jennifer.
