Arielle's POV:
"Thats your ex!?" I asked Jennifer shocked.
She rolled her eyes and said "Yes Arielle she is. Why are you acting like this is new to you?"
"Because it is!" I said to her.
"Arielle, you knew this already, you've met her, while she was dating me." Jennifer said.
"Really when?" I asked confused.
"At that carnival thing." She answered.
The carnival thing? I asked myself and tried to remember when I met Emily.
Then it hit me.
"Oh yea I remember now." I said to Jennifer.
"Arielle you can stop playing dumb." She said annoyed.
"Playing dumb?" I asked.
"Yes, because you're trying to act like you didn't know Emily was my ex when you know you did and decided to replace me with her and make me feel jealous." Jennifer said angrily.
"Jennifer," I said walking towards her and taking her hands in mine. "I had no idea Emily was your ex, I completely forgot about that. I'm sorry." I said to her sincerely.
Jennifer had her head down, her eyes focused on our intertwined hands.
"Besides, how could I replace you with Emily when you're not replaceable." I said to her.
This caused her to quickly snap her head up and she blushed. I gave her a small smile. "Alright Arielle, I believe you." She said to me.
"Good." I said and let go of one of her hands. "Now let's catch up with the team." I said and dragged her over to our team's bus.

Jennifer's POV:
Today there was some carnival near town but not to close to town and decided to go.
Well actually the only reason I wanted to come was because someone told me I would be seeing a certain someone here. So I was currently sitting on the bench waiting for Jaylin to bring Arielle to me.
"Are you stalking me?" I heard a voice joke. I looked at the person and saw that it was Arielle and she had a smile on her face.
Yes.
"No, why would you think that?" I asked her.
"I don't know, I didn't take you as a person who visited carnival's in their free time." Arielle answered.
Yea I wasn't until I found out you would be here.
"Yea umm...I just wanted a change. Are you with someone?" I asked her.
"Yea, well I was here with someone, Jaylin, she went to talk to some guy and left me alone." Arielle answered.
So Jaylin planned this? I asked myself.
"Since I'm not here with anyone and Jaylin left you alone, would you like to hang out with me...for a while?" I asked Arielle and put my hands behind my back, crossing my fingers.
"Uhhhhh...sure." Arielle answered.
So Arielle and I went on a lot of rides. It was almost 10 p.m. and Arielle was almost going to leave until I stopped her.
"Jennifer I have to go." She whined.
"One more ride...please." I begged giving her puppy eyes.
I heard her let out a sigh and she said "Fine, but this is the last one."
I smiled at her and nodded my head.
We went around looking for which ride would be the best when I saw a tent.
"Let's go in there." I said to Arielle.
"Um...no thanks, you can go inside of there while I stand outside right here." She said stopping in her tracks.
"Please Arielle it says Fortune Teller, let's go get our fortunes." I said to her, giving her puppy dog eyes again, knowing they would make her change her mind
She rolled her eyes at me playfully and said "Alright fine, but if I get told that I'm going to die tomorrow I'm going to be real angry at you."
I laughed at that and said "Don't worry it'll be fun."
We walked over to the tent went inside.
We were greeted by a middle-aged lady wearing a colorful garb. She was sitting at a table that had two chairs, with her eyes closed.
"Please sit down so I can tell your fortune." The lady said.
I looked over at Arielle and said "Do you want to go first?"
She slowly nodded and sat in the chair.
"Please extend your palms." The lady said.
Arielle did as told and the lady took Arielle's hands and started to massage them.
"I see love in your future, with a beautiful woman named..." the fortune teller stopped, deep in thought.
"...Jennifer." She continued.
My eyes widened in shock and I saw Arielle tense up, but she didn't turn around to look at me.
The fortune teller continued "You will also suffer much heartache, but you must be strong. There will be obstacles that you will have to overcome."
The fortune teller stayed silent for a while then her face turned grim. "You will also have a pain, not emotional, but physical."
Once the fortune teller finished that sentence Arielle stood up, took a 10 dollar bill out of her pocket, put it on the table, then stormed out of the tent.
"Arielle wait." I said to her as she was exiting the tent. I was about to follow after her but then the fortune teller called out to me and said "Wait."
I stopped and turned around to face her. "Are you Jennifer?" The fortune teller asked. I nodded my head and then she said "Please...take care of that girl."
I didn't respond and rushed out to Arielle. I looked around and saw her sitting on a bench with her head in her hands. I walked over to her and say down next to her on the bench.
"Arielle..." I trailed off, not really knowing what to say.
"Is what that lady said in there true?" Arielle asked looking up at me with tears in her eyes, threatening to fall out.
"I don't know Arielle." I said, answering honestly because I really didn't but deep down inside I had a feeling that I should always keep that fortune teller's words in mind.
"I mean it must be true, I mean she knew your name and you never told her." She said.
"So do you believe what she said?" I asked her, because a part of me wanted her to realize that we were meant to be together.
"I think so..." Arielle said not sounding so sure of herself.
We stayed quiet for a little while then I spoke.
"So...will you give us a second chance?" I asked a little too hopeful.
She didn't say anything after a while but then she said "I don't know."
She stood up from the bench and said "I have to go now." and walked away, leaving me there to wonder what she was gonna do about us.
