Next day he went to roof but she was missing the kid was playing around. He waited but there was no sign of her,he went from there. For 2 days neither he got a glance of her nor the window opened. He was feeling restless about her. Another day too passed and other day he found the kid playing at the roof. He tried his best to grab her attention all in vain later he threw a stone and she turned and Rahul did a happy dance and then showed a chocolate ( it's the better way 2 attract kids). She gave a wide smile and came to his place.

Rahul: hello.
Kid: hello uncle
Rahul: uncle do I look like one.I'm not so old you can call me bhaiyya ( brother)
Kid : ok bhaiyya
Rahul: what's your name
Kid: chinky
Rahul: sweet name and pulled her cheek. Hmmm where is your friend
Chinky: which friend
Rahul: hmm the one who plays with you at terrace
Chinky: Priya di
Rahul: priya..its...
Chinky : sweet name.aap ko sab ka naam sweet kyun lagthi hai ( why all names are sweet for you)

Rahul: nothing.you didn't tell about  her
Chinky: she is having fever and still doing all the work .All are bad at house always make di ( sister)cry
Rahul: is she taking any tablets
Chinky: no
Rahul: thought so and then he went to his cupboard and took 2 or 3 tablets and told the kid to give her
Chinky: she won't take this
Rahul: ask your mom to powder it and mix in water and give
Chinky: di will find out
Rahul: no trust me
Chinky: ok.bye mom will be looking for me
Rahul: my work is done

After that he and chinky became friends and he got to know that Priya is feeling well. His wait was over and he saw her again at the roof. He was in cloud nine and smiled at her and she twitched her lips and went.

Days passed and Rahul informed his parents that he won't be returning  soon. One day Sameer and Karan came to meet Rahul and invited him to Holi celebration in their house.

Rahul asked Savitri's hubby they told he left the family and went and never came back.Rahul was going to witness the celebration in live otherwise only Bollywood movies gave him the feel. He was excited but the window of her never opened after their last meet.

Next day he wore a plain white kurta and pants and went to haveli. All were gathered at the terrace but his Angel was missing. Savitri ji gave theeka to all the guys and Ragini cheeks also welcomed color and she gave a nod to the start.

Then the colors were spread on faces and Rahul was escaping from getting colored. But last all surrounded him and he was like bathed fully in color . Then he went and applied color on chinky and they enjoyed. He was feeling thirsty so he moved to the counter and he was served with bhang ( holi drink)and liked the taste so much that he gulped almost 5 glass and now he was totally talli( drunkard). And swaying from one to other side.

Other side priya was with dadi. She gave her food and left to her room. And stood near the window without opening it. And savitri shedding tears remembering her son Rehaan and hubby.

With effect of bhang Rahul came stumbling through the stairs and he walked near her room and saw her there.

Rahul: hello dream girl
She turned to see him and said get out of here before i shout.
Rahul: I didn't do anything I'm such a nanna munna baccha ( innocent baby) see and gave her his cute puppy looks.
She again turned to face the window. He came close to her.

Rahul: why are you doing this to your life. You know white is  symbol of pure but colors are the different shades of life and i want to be the color of your life.
Priya: what...what.. are ...you ...saying ...trembling lips

Rahul came little more closer and whispered I'm saying bura mat mano holi hai and applied the red color which he hid behind his back and absent mindedly he drew a little longer and it got printed in her parition and he washed his colored face on her pallu and it too became red.

Then he moved from there and came back running.

Rahul: i forgot this and made her wear the chain which was in his neck with a locket of Om. This was my last gift from the my mom keep it safe it's for your good luck and opened the window .
Rahul: welcome the light of your life

Priya was speechless what happened in this few seconds and turned and got rooted to the place. She saw her reflection in the mirror. Her saree red,maang ( partition) with red color and a chain which a guy made her wear lying in short she wasn't a widow but a newly wed bride . She touched to confirm and she was feeling awkward and moved her hand to wipe but the color spread all over. She changed the stained saree and washed the face and removed his mark and then she was going to pull the chain out but his words rang in her ears. " it's my mom's last gift" .She kept it wound on her neck.

Rahul came to his room and slept instantly . Morning he was fully charged up and forgot the events which took place with Priya. While he was going for sight seeing he heard the yells from haveli. The roar was so loud that even the people walking by street could hear .

Savitri: so maharani( queen) wants to go to her house
Priya: maa ( mom)please papa(dad) isn't well
Savitri:no means no
Pranav: ma please let her go
Savitri: ok.but be back soon
Priya: sure ma and she gets ready.

A soul who heard all these thought to follow her because she was alone. She went to the bus station and took a bus and got down to her destination. She rang the bell and it was opened by her mom.

Priya's mom: why are you here
Priya: papa
Priya's mom: he is alive but you shouldn't have been here. You are bad luck you took your hubby's life now you want me to be a widow too that you came here
Priya: ma please.can I meet him
Priya's mom: no
Priya: just a glance
Priya's mom: no and never keep your steps here and banged the door on her face.

She was broken by inside still she didn't show it on her face and started walking back wishing her parents well being. She reached the station and got to know after 3 hours bus is there. She went to a dhabba ( roadside hotel) and used the rest room and had a tea. She knew the weird looks of guys and she felt unsafe there so started walking.

Three guys were following her and she was trembling with fear. She saw them nearing her and she froze to the spot when a hand clutched her. She closed her eyes tightly.

The person told to run and they were running still with closed eye. The voice she heard was familiar and she know she'll be safe in the hands.

Guy: open your eyes.we are far
Priya: thanks and opened to see Rahul with a smile
Rahul: you could've asked anyone to accompany you.what was the need to be jhansi ki rani
Priya: because I'm an unwanted they'll be happy if I didn't return
Rahul: there are others who wants to be around
Priya: why
Rahul: don't know

There was silence.
Rahul : let's head back to the bus station
Priya: hmmm

They walked and went enquired got to know the bus already left.
Priya: ma will be angry
Rahul: I'll arrange a transport.you be here
He was looking for a cab or car for lift. Some people didn't stop or other's made excuse.

At last a cart came he went first and forward his hand and she gave in he pulled her and both stumbled because it moved priya on top of rahul. He looked at her and removed the hair that was covering her face he tucked it back and she realized their position and moved.

She was again busy oogling the moon.
Rahul: you trace your hubby in that moon
Priya: no. my life,destiny and fate
Rahul: you loved him( her husband) a lot he asked keeping a stone at heart
Priya: don't know but he was my support
Rahul: i want to know your story
Priya: why
Rahul: I don't know
Priya: sorry I can't and don't come near me.I'm a bad luck and you too will lose everything because of me

They reached the colony at morning and she pressed the bell.  It was opened by Savitri and she just blasted upon her at the entrance.

Savitri: agayi maharani.and see Rahul standing.tu iske saath gayi thi papa ka jhoota bimari batake ( oh you were this guy and lied about dad health). Characterless girl. Why you came back fed up of him and going to search another one. Tell me. No shame after hubby death too you roam with other guys.

Priya just listened to all the bashing she was showered with even family members kept mum enjoying the scene. Rahul couldn't take it more and he came in middle.

Rahul: savitri ji i know what is a dignity of a girl and i respect that. If you were so concerned you should have send someone with her not alone and blame her for nothing. I would have lived in N.Y. I'm also a son of Indian parents and value our culture and most importantly a girl's character and I'll never ever do such activities with which my family or a girl's character is pointed out .

Let me ask ,you are there for dadi,and for you sons and brothers sons . Have you thought who is with her. How she lives. Dadi too is a widow but you don't treat her like you treat your bahu. I too heard your hubby left you and sons and still you wear everything which symbolizes your married. Are you sure your hubby is still alive

Soon his cheeks welcomed a tight slap and saw fuming priya.
Priya: how dare you .it's my ma and my family. You are an outsider and stay in your limits.

Rahul had a smile and said  for the first time you responded to a matter. You took stand for your ma then why can't you take stand for yourself and leaves from there.
