One year passed

Priya  was standing at the window and watching his which has been closed after their last meet. She felt a palm in her shoulder and saw Savitri there
Savitri: beta close it. It's really cold. You may get fever
Priya: I don't want to miss the first sight of him
Savitri : it's been a year after he left you
Priya: I know and I'll wait till my last breath and smiles and looks out

Like this 20 years paased. Priya is 40 years of old,she never changed her routine. Morning she looks through window and night too. As usual she was seeing through the window someone came from behind and screamed Boo and Priya turns with a smile. Chinky you aren't a kid any more .

Chinky : I'll always be a kid to my di
Priya : yes baccha
Chinky: di you should move on in life. He won't be back
Priya: he is a stubborn kid i asked him to never come back so he will be back with my call. I don't want that when he was with me he met with such dangerous situation. Let him be happy wherever he is

Chinky: what about your happiness and life
Priya: my happiness lies in his
Chinky: but I'll bring Rahul  bhai to you
Priya: how
Chinky hands over an envelope and it's written she is selected for an internship program in U.S.
Priya: U.S you are going there
Chinky: hmmm.and I'll drag him and bring him to you
Priya: no need.  Just i want to know he is fine
Chinky : no I'll ask him to marry you and live your life together
Priya: kuch bhi come down dadis are waiting

At that time chinky's eyes fell on the papers lying on the table.
Chinky: di what are these
Priya: for people it's just some sheets but for me its my life which i spend after he left me. I thought when we meet I'll give him this so he can know how was my life without him
Chinky: hmmm
Priya leaves.
Chinky : letters I mean love letters.during my childhood I was the messenger and I'll again appear in the form of the pigeon and give him these and ask him to be back to you. I'll make sure di that you get your love back and I promise I'll bring him back to you.

Priya was energetic and blushing at times thinking about her encounter with him after long time. She knew chinky will convince him and he will be returning with her. She tried to conceal but her family are masters they were teasing her.

The day of Chinky to leave to U.S came and she was excited one to work in her dream company and other to meet her Rahul bhai .

Priya: chinky have you rechecked everything.
C: yes di all set to fly
Priya: when you meet him,don't tell that I know about that, just you wished to see him
Chinky: why so
Priya: he will be angry and ask questions why I'm not calling him back and all.
Chinky: ok baba. Top secret
Priya: give him these jamuns and say it's traditional of India to gift something
Chinky: hmmm anything else madam
Priya: yeah don't mention I was waiting for him all these years
Chinky: ummm
Priya: and ....nothing else .How you will find him
Chinky: I'll by hook and crook. Cab came, I'm leaving. She enters and while it starts to move she yells i took your letters for him and Priya shocked.
I promise to bring the lost love to you di in mind.

Chinky reach there and she joins the company does her work and she was wishing for the weekend to come soon so she can start her search for Rahul. Weekend she searched by typing Rahul and 10 Rahul came as aresult. She noted their address and left to find him. She didn't know her search will put her into  dilemma .

She visited many and last house she rang the bell. It was opened by an old lady. Chinky took the picture of Rahul which she got from Pranav wedding album and showed the lady. Tears rolled down from the lady's eyes.

L: how you know Rahul
Chinky: so I'm at the right place. I came from India to meet bhai
A male voice was heard the lady asked chinky to come inside.
Man: who is that Revathi
Lady: Ravi it's a girl from India looking for Rahul
Chinky: hello uncle and aunty.you know where he is
Revathi: we are his parents
Chinky: so Bhai I. know di told he is very stubborn ask him to come out. I need to tell him my di is expecting his comeback. She is living with that hope
Ravi: Priya
Chinky: yes uncle please call him and ask him to go to her. She suffered a lot
Revathi: if we could we would have called him back it's not in our hands
Chinky: what you mean
Ravi: we brought him here. And he was slowly recovering and he told us about Priya and he miss her a lot. After 3 weeks suddenly he felt ill again and .....they were crying we couldn't save our son. He has gone far away from us

Chinky stumbled back. What. Tell me you both are lying. Bhai is alive and it's all his tricks to torture di. I ...I...I..won't believe this. And she turns to leave.
Revathi: beta before going back come here again. We have something which can give your di hope about his arrival and won't be heartbroken.

Chinky goes to her room. No..no..I ..how will my di survive. She will lose everything. Why bhai you came to her life as a light and then pushed her again to darkness. She'll die. How will I say to her that I didn't meet you because you are not with us. She won't bear the truth. Chinky was behaving like a maniac. I ..need to be back ,internship I'll continue in India. I can't stay here any more. I need to leave.

She was throwing the belongings then her eyes fell on the letters of Priya.
Chinky: no one is there to read this. And thinks to tear but her heart says to read that. She decides to know her di and her love.

Letter 1

Dear Rahul
I know I made you promise me that never to come to me and you will be expecting my call. I don't want the history to happen again. I'll be fine when you are.

In anger I told the bitter truth of Rehaan death to ma and she is heartbroken. This was known only to me and Pranav bhai that's why he feels sorry for me when ma scolds me.

And sorry not for saying to you too because I don't want my hubby to be tagged as a coward in front of anyone .

Letter 2

Now haveli is like battle ground,sameer and karan are scolding ma for allowing rehaan to take loan by showing the haveli papers. It belongs to all and how she did that to them. They are asking for shares and needs to go out of this house and live separately.

Pranav bahi is working day and night to arrange money and give the so called brothers.

I started going to dance classes again. Now ma doesn't scold me.

Letter 3

Haveli has become silent. Only 5 lives are here. Dadi,ma,chinky and her mom and me. All left us. Pranav bhai didn't want to go but we convinced him and he too went.

After class when I enter there was a surprise my mom and dad . Mom came and hugged me and dad blessed me which I was craving for months. Later I came to know their real intentions.

They want me to go with them and move on my life. My parents came to know rehaan did suicide and I'm not responsible neither me being mangalik. The news of his suicide spread like a fire that it reached my parents ears too.

I told them I'll spend my life with ma and not them. Being my own parents they didn't give permission to enter my home. Mom feared of dad's death and dad thought I'm unlucky that their all handwork money will lost by my sight. Then why now all these fake love and care.

I was cursed and taunted by ma. Even ill treated but she gave me a space to live and I think it was important for me than my parents. They left.

Letter 4

It's been whole one year I didn't see you . Do you remember me or are you so stubborn that you won't come back to me. Ma and dadi knows my wait for you,this time they too lost hope and they were saying you must have moved on in life.

Is it easy for you to forget me and move on. I don't think so you will come and I'll be here for you.

Letter 5

Life is becoming a struggle for me Rahul. Pranav bhai gives an amount for the expense of house. The prices are high and I'm going to dance classes their fees,Chinky's school and house. What will I do. Please help me Rahul.

Now a days ma leaves from house with me saying she has satsang (prayers) class. I don't believe her. One day i saw my ma cleaning the dirty dishes of a house. Later I enquired with family to know my ma works as a maid there and two more house. I was hurt by this.

Next day I told her not to go and I'll arrange the required money. I asked our neighbours if they like to send their kids to teach dance. One week no one came later 2 kids joined and in two months I'm having 15 kids in class

I'm strong and solve problems myself. Ma cook food so I asked chinky's ma to help ma and like a cottage industry they are sending food to office.

It's all because of your motivation and outlook to life.

Letter 6

Another holi came by . In the effect of bhaang you turned a widow to married. You forgot but I didn't. Your mom's chain is like the mangalsutra for me and without anyone's knowledge I keep karwachauth for you.

I always wish that I see you at the opposite window one day.

Today when I woke up I found the window opened i knew you won't ditch me and I was so happy that. I was running and ma stopped me . I told her you are back and all at home were happy.

I just rushed reached at the door huffing ,my world stood still when I found that it's not you. I came home and I told ma
It's not him,he didn't...and fell to the ground.

Letter 7

Chinky has become a big girl today our messenger. I'm afraid of this society i admitted her to a self defence class so she can protect herself from the devils.

Chinky's mom isn't well . She is serious took her to clinic she got pneumonia. The doctors tried their best she didn't survive.

Letter 8

Why love hurts. Am I really cursed that i can't have a peaceful life with the loved one. I know you will be back to me one day.

I took dadi for her general check up and was waiting out. I saw a pregnant lady passing by and automatically my hands caressed my belly.

It's always empty. Will i ever be a mom and enjoy the next phase of being a lady. Every lady wish to be a mom and care he or she . Will God gift me that beautiful stage .

I believe you Rahul. You told me you will bring your parents and take me with you then I'll be blessed with motherhood.

Chinky is alone and she is my elder daughter oh sorry don't be angry our daughter. Happy now. Come fast

Tears were dripping from chinky's eyes reading that.

Letter 9

I graduated with flying colours in dance. I wished you to be here who compelled me to join the class. Ma called me beta in front of all. And I'm her beta and she is proud of that.

You know I turned the haveli to my dance school and named PR. It's Priya and Rahul it's a secret deal between us .

Letter 10

Love hurts. Dadi and ma is asking me to wear coloured saree. I refused because I want you to be the one who colour my life. They got defeated. Chinky has become naughty and tease me with your name.

You know it's better to ogle moon than you. He always appears at night and you are like invisible. Come fast or you forgot me. I'll cheat you and start my life with moon.

Letter 11

Life is sweet but love hurts. Unspoken words and silent love is a bliss. I'm living with that. When I was going to confess my love you interrupted saying you want it to be special and you are only gayaab (invisible).

When will I open up my feelings for you. All these years I feel connected to you like you are always around me to protect and show me right path. You are my angel and wish to be with you only.

When I take my last breath I want to see you .will you fulfil that small wish of mine.

Letter 12

Today i found Chinky is in love with a guy and he truly loves her. I gave them the permission and don't scold me for not asking you.

Love is something beyond, it's like a prayer. You are the only one in my prayer . You know this widow runs a dance school and now going to fight for women rights.

It's your support made me what I'm . Still you didn't come. When will my wait over with my eyes closed.

Letter 13

Dadi and ma are becoming weak. Chinky is doing her engineering and got selected in campus interview. Her dream is to do internship at U.S. I too pray she gets that so she can meet you and tell how I'm.

I'm 40 years and my usual wait at the window is done. Why I'm waiting for you all ask me. I know the answer it's my love that I feel for you .
