After 3 hours of training, and Riley's consistent complaints, the girl headed to the kitchen. When they walked in, a tall, black haired woman was already there. She was currently cooking for the Shadowhunters that lived at the institute.

"Hey miss Izzy!" Maya smiled as she sat down at the island. Riley then followed her friend and sat as well.

"Maya, good evening-" Izzy started as she turned around. She slightly gasped as her eyes landed on the brunette.

"Isabelle, this is my friend Riley" The blonde informed. Riley smiled and shyly waved. Isabelle on the other hand, was still shocked. Seeing Riley made her worried, yet happy at the same time. Isabelle had the urge to hug Riley and kiss her all over her face.

Riley was Isabelle's daughter.

"I-it's nice to meet you Riley. You two go help yourself to the macaroni and cheese on the stove. I've got to go to the store" Isabelle said quickly. Riley watched as the woman ran out of the kitchen. That was weird.... Riley thought to herself.

"Let's eat! The girl that said she was hungry seems distracted" Maya laughed as she got up to get two bowls.
Maya put the macaroni and cheese in the two bowls and set them down on the island.

"Ummm I hate to ask... But do you have ketchup by any chance?" The brunette questioned.

"Yea, here ya go" Maya said absolutely confused with the other girl's question. Riley smiled and took the ketchup bottle from the blonde. Lastly, she put ketchup all over her macaroni. Maya made gagging noises and covered her eyes as the brunette mixed her food together.

"Why ketchup?" Maya asked slightly cringing.

"Because its good, you wanna try?" Riley asked as she hovered the ketchup over Maya's bowl.

"Umm thanks, but no thanks Riles" Maya laughed.

"It's your loss" Riley shruged as she shoveled a spoonful into her mouth.

The moonlight had finally started to show, and the day was coming to an end.

"Maya... Do you mind if I sleep over? I mean it's late and all" Riley started.

"Of course not" The blonde said as she pulled out a pair of pajamas for her friend. Maya threw them at the brunette and they both burst into giggles.

After they were all finished, the girls crawled into bed.

"Good night Peaches..." Riley said tiredly.

"Night Riley"
