Riley walked into school to see only a few other people were there. She went to her locker, opening it and putting her bag in it. A somewhat familiar face, unpleasant in Riley's head. Aproached her.

"Shit..." The brunette mummbed. Lucas. Lucas Friar had been asking Riley out since the beginning of 7th grade, but she continued to turn him down. The tall boy leaned on the locker next to Riley smirking.

"Hey, Riley. I was wondering if-" The brunette cut Lucas off instantly, because she knew what he'd say.

"No Lucas. Shut up and leave me alone! How many times do I need to tell you no? N-O. No" Riley said irritated. Lucas put his hand on her shoulder.

"Come on cutie, you know you-" He was cut off again. Maya stood watching the two bickering, finding it amusing. But, she was also in intrigued by the brunette. Maya found her long brown locks beautiful, as well as her chocolate brown eyes that anyone could drown in.

"Don't touch me Lucas" The brunette growled.

"Mundanes" Maya chuckled as she continued to watch the two.

"You know you want to fuck me" Lucas smirked. Riley was a bit taken back as her face seemed to heat up.

"Get the hell away from me!" Riley said, a bit louder. Maya felt a bit guilty for doing nothing, so she approached the two unfamiliar teens.

"Back off Ranger Rick, ever heard of respect" The blonde questioned. Lucas glared at her.

"Scram blondie, you're too out of her league to be in her presence. Oh, I mean too short" The boy chuckled. Riley took a few steps back, feel awkward.

"What'd you just say?" Maya asked, surprisingly calm. She sensed something off about Lucas. The blonde just couldn't put her finger on it.

"Called you short" The tall boy shrugged. Riley then finally spoke up,

"Shes not short Lucas! Shes- fun sized?" She said, which came out more as a question. Maya wanted to laugh at the brunette's comment.

"You're taking her side Babe?" Lucas asked Riley.

"One, don't call me 'Babe'. Two..." Riley trailed off, her temper getting the best of her. The brunette kneed the boy in the genitals.

"Stay the fuck away from me!" Riley ended with a burst of laughter. Her laugh is fucking adorable Maya said to herself. Lucas moaned in pain, and earned a laugh from the blonde. The boy held himself, as he walked away in obvious pain. Riley continued to laugh and Maya couldn't help herself and laughed with the brunette.

"That was pretty good. What you did to that freak over there. I'm Maya by the way" The blonde smiled softly at the taller girl.

"Thanks, honestly he's the only one I do that to. But I'm Riley" The brunette replied. She's actually treating me like a normal person Riley thought to herself.

"Want me to show you you're first class?" Riley asked kindly. Maya nodded. I can't believe I'm hanging out with a mundane Maya said mentaly.

"Then lets gooo!" Riley said cheerfully as Maya chuckled.
