When the Mattews were headed into their appartment, Maya had been following them.

"Riley!" She called as the group turned around when hearing her voice.

"Maya, what do you think you're doing?" The brunette asked. Maya shook her head.

"I'm helping you tell them. I know more than you actually know" Maya whispered. Riley sighed and grabbed the block by the hand, dragging her down the hallway as her family followed. Once they got into the appartment, Riley shooed her brother Auggie away.

"Why have you never told me?" Riley asked, hurt evident in her voice.

"What are you talking about?" Riley's mother Topanga asked.

"That you're Shadowhunters? That we are?!?" The brunette asked getting up in her parent's faces. Maya grabbed Riley by the shoulders in an attempt to calm her down. Topanga looked at Cory and he sighed.

"Riley.... We weren't going to tell you until you were older, but since you figured out half, I suppose we should tell you now" He said, seeming unusually hurt.

"What we're trying to say is- We aren't your real parents. Your real mother, she wanted to protect your until you were older" Topanga said as she broke into tears. The older woman had always dreaded this day, and didn't expect it to come so soon.

"W-what do you mean you're not my real parents?" Riley asked, tears threatening to fall. Maya hugged the taller girl and put her chin on Riley's shoulder.

"You don't need to do this to yourself Riles" Maya whispered softly into the brunette's ear. Riley shook her head as a single tear rolled down her cheek.

"Why would you not tell me?" The teary eyed girl asked.

"We were just trying to protect you Sweetheart" Cory stated.

"I'm done with this" Riley said, her face stained with tears. She took off to her room, while the living room was absolutely silent.

Oh my loard. I honestly think this story sucks but a few of you seem to like it so I'll just keep the story going. I apologize for not updating, but my parents took my iPod away so I wasn't able to write. State tests are coming this week so I may not be able to write then. In advance, I'm sorry Loves >~<
