I was soon set down in what I'm guessing is his car he started the engine. He luckily didn't open the box so I just sat in the corner crying not making noise, then the car stopped moving oh no were here already great this day just keeps on getting better and better every minute. I felt him pick up the box I was in just a few minutes he opened the lid "You don't have to be scared I promise not to hurt you" yeah right his just saying that to gain my trust and then crush me that's what happened to the others they said the giant would gain their trust and then crush that trust "My name is Luke what's your name" I stayed silent I'm to scared to answer I'm literally shaking that and it's also cold "I told you their's no reason to be scared" he said kindly and calmly I kept quiet by now I was shivering and Luke must've noticed because I felt something touch my arm I twitched and backed away "Calm down how many times do I have to tell you I'm truly not going to hurt you" "Pl-please no" I was able to say "You're cold right let me help you" I kept looking down he then put his fingers around me and gently pick me up I squeezed my eyes shut scared to look down holding on to his finger with fear of falling. I was not shaking of cold now I was just shaking of fear
Luke's P.O.V
She was still shaking she is terrified of me well if I saw someone ten times bigger then me then I would probably be scared to. I look at her and she had her eyes closed,she was holding on to me with her dear life I don't want her to be scared of me. I look at her hair and see some of it was black or was that brown it was hard to tell someone must have dyed her hair blue "Do you want to get that dye out of your hair" she nodded
Hailey's P.O.V
I can finally get this dye out of my hair I hate it your probably thinking if I hate it so much why did I get in the first place well one day they had this bring your kid to work day and of course a little girl came by and dipped my hair in blue hair dye I hated it well not as much as these stupid rags for clothes their brown you can't even tell what the original color was,he put me down while he got a few things. He came back and gave me soap, shampoo, towels and new clothes "Call me when your done" I simply nod after he left I turned around to see myself I didn't even recognize myself I had blue hair,I was skinny because my lack of eating and my eyes were blue but they weren't fulled with happiness my mom would always say I was really energetic which I agree with I was always running around the house if not the park but now my eyes don't have any happiness at all they are fulled with fear and sadness, I put those thoughts aside and took a bath the water was warm I haven't felt it in so long when I was done with that I began to wash my hair the dye started to come out once it was all out I dried my hair I changed into the clothes that Luke gave me and they fit surprisingly "Are you done yet" "Y-yes" I can't control my shuddering he came in he looked at me I could tell he was probably surprised my hair was brown it was really long to it was up to hips but I like my hair long "Are you hungry I can heat up something if you'd like" I nodded "Let's try this again what's your name" "My na-name is
Ha-Hailey" "Nice to meet you Hailey I know you don't like to be picked up so maybe it's better if you sit on the palm of my hand" "O-Okay" he held out his hand I wasn't sure at first but it was better then being held well for me at least,I sat on his hand he walked to the kitchen and set me on the table and he turned around looking for something to eat "I have spaghetti if you like that or would you like something else" "Sp-Spaghetti is fine" he put it in the microwave and turned to face me.
