We kept going till we made it to the next town about 30 minutes later.

Me: Finally, we're here!
Cuphead: Great I'm exhausted.
Mugman: We should find a place to stay for the night.
Me: Right!

We kept walking until we found a decent looking hotel. But before we could enter...

Me: Hey, this one looks pretty good!
Cuphead: Yeah.....*starts to slightly sway*
Me: Cuppy, are you ok?
Mugman: You've been looking awful since the demons attacked us.
Cuphead: I'm fine, just tired, that's all. Let just see if they have any rooms.
Me: Ok*reaches for the handle of the door, but a hand stops me and someone pins me to the wall* WHAT THE HELL?!!
Demon#1: Did ya miss me?
Cuphead: YOU!💢*He and Mugs tried to get him off me, but they were grabbed by the other two*
Demon#1: Now, where were we? Ah yes,*turns to me* you didn't think rocks could kill us did you?
Me: *struggling*
Demon#1: Stop squirming! *slaps me*

Cuphead and Mugman looked like they could murder, but Demons 2 and 3's grip were too tight. Lucky, I could feel my pocket knife on my side.

Demon#1: *shows claws* It's a shame I have to do this to you, you're quite pretty.

He brought my face close to his, and his lips got closer and closer to mine. And that's when Demon#1 found out what happens when you harass me. I brought my pocket knife up and slashed his face.

Demon#1: GAH! *Staggers backward*
Demons 1 and 2:!!!

They released Cuphead and Mugman to try to attack me, but I wasn't having any of that. I fought them off with karate, and I thought I was going to win. But Demon#1 used his powers to lift us off the ground.

Demon#1: THAT. IS. ENOUGH!
Me: Trying to escape but I can't.
Demon#1: Let's get staight to the point. *forms a knife and puts it at my neck* Shall we?

He went to stab me but, before he could, he stops with a horrified expression on his face. I looked down and saw a knife going through his stomach. He screamed in pain and exploded into dust. And standing behind where he was before, was a short demon with black pointy hair. He looked at me with this dramatic expression on his face, and I felt mine get warm. Since the first demon was killed, his magic disappeared.

Me: *falls to the ground* AHHHH!
Short demon: Woah! *he tried to catch me, but I was too big. And I fell on top of him.
???: Are you three ok? *look up to see a cat and wolf. The wolf had caught Mugs and Cuphead was being supported up by the cat*
Me: Yeah, I think so-*notices I'm still sitting on top of the demon*oooooh my god! *I jumped up and helped him up* I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm SOOO sorry!
Short demon: Woah woah WOAH! It's fine I'm ok!
Me: Are you sure?
Short demon: Yes.
Cat: Who are you three?
Me: I'm Glassy. And these are my brothers Cuphead and Mugman.
Short demon: Nice to meet you. I'm Bendy, and this is my brother Boris.
Boris: Hello!
Me:....Hi.... *looks at the cat* What's your name?
Cat: I am Felix. I'm an adventurer.
Me: Nice to meet you all.

Cuphead walked over and checked on me.

Cuphead: Are you ok?
Me: Yes I'm fine.
Cuphead: *looks at Bendy, Boris, and Felix* Thank you. All of you.
Felix: It was nothing, we couldn't let those demons hurt you.
Boris: But WHY were they after you?
Me: Personal problems. But it's nothing you have to worry about.
Boris:.....Ok.....
Bendy: Hch! *starts coughing up ink*
Boris: BENDY!
Felix: Oh goodness!
Me and Mugman: 😦
Cuphead: 😩*starts to violently sway*
Me: Cuphead?

And just like that, Cuphead fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Me: CUPPY!
Mugman: Oh god. BRO HANG ON!
Felix:*looks at Cuphead* Goodness! He needs to get to a hospital. Boris, get Bendy back to the hotel. I'll take these three to the hospital.
Boris: Ok.

I watched as he picked up Bendy and ran off. But I was snapped back into the current problem when Felix called the ambulance. They rushed us to the hospital and took Cuphead into an operation room. They took Mugman back as well to patch up his black eye. Leaving me all alone in the waiting room. I didn't know what to do. So I began to sing my favorite song.

I turned around jumping slightly because I hadn't heard anyone come in. I turned to see two girls, one looked half wolf and the other looked half cat and they both had black hair. Though one had long hair in a braid going to her knees and the other had short hair.

Me: Oh, thanks.
Long haired wolf: What's your name?
Me: I'm Glassy. Who are you two?
Long haired wolf: I'm Camille, and this is my friend Aki. *motions toward short haired cat.
Aki: Yo.
Me: Nice to meet you two.
Camille: What are you doing here?
Me: My brothers are both back there being helped.
Camille: Oh no! What happened?
Me: We were chased by some demons and my brothers got hurt.
Aki: Those stupid demons again!
Camille: They've been causing so many people to be here. *shakes head* But don't you worry! Your brothers should be fine!
Me: I hope so...
Aki: Hey, since we're here, would you mind us sitting with you? We can help the time pass.
Me: *Smiling* I'd like that, thank you.
Camille: No problem.

We sat and talked for about an hour before Mugman came in with a patch over his right eye.

Me: *runs up to Mugman* MUGGY!
Mugman: *hugs me then a nurse cones out*
Me: Ma'am, how's my brother?
Nurse: He's pretty bruised up, but he'll be ok. We managed to fix up most of his cracks, but he needs to stay here for the night.
Me: *sighs in relief* Ok thank you.
Nurse: Anytime sweetie. *walks away*
Me: *looks at Mugs* Soo, now what?
Mugman: I dunno.
Camille: You can come back to our hotel, I'm sure my mom has a spare room for you two.
Me: Thank you Camille.
Camille: *smiles*
Aki: Now come on, we'll take you there.

The four of us left towards the hotel. I kinda felt bad for leaving Cuphead behind, but relieved that he was ok. "But what about Bendy?" I thought. He clearly had the Ink Illness. But he also saved me.... I continued to walk with the others feeling confused, had I fallen in love......with a demon?
