*Satvi Pov*

"You can't sleep like that." I heard his order and even felt him shaking me.

"I can sleep and you are no one to stop me." I mumbled swatting his hands away so that he will not disturb me again.

"I am the one who is fulfilling your wish." He said swatting my hands back.

"So? Should I give up my sleep for you?" I asked him opening my eyes.

"I am not getting any sleep. And the reason for that is you so you should give me company." He replied glaring at me.

"Who doesn't get sleep on a plane? Shall I sing you a lullaby?" I asked him with sarcasm, but he frowned like thinking about it and nodded.

"Uhmm... ok! Let's try that and I hope you have a good voice." He replied, closing his eyes and leaned back.

"Look, there are just two more hours before we land in the city, and it is still early in the morning. I don't want to sleep even a wink when we go there so let me sleep for now." I said hoping that he will understand.

"What will you do if I sleep in the hotel?" he asked, opening his eyes raising his eyebrow.

"I will go out alone." I replied, shrugging and started closing my eyes.

"My Swetha used to stay awake for my sake even though I didn't have to ask her directly, but just a small indication had been enough for her to understand." He said, shaking his head, and I took a deep breath stopping myself from either lashing out at him or burst out crying.

"Then go and get her." I said before I can stop myself, and I face palmed with the silence engulfing us.

"I am sorry!" I mumbled, but he just shook his head, mumbling "Forget it!"

"Sleep!" I mumbled holding his hand in mine and rubbed his palm before drifting off into sleep.

"Wow!" I said, looking outside while he is busy on his phone.

"Did you come here before?" I asked, turning towards him.

"Yep!" he replied and I again looked outside the taxi window and glanced at the surroundings.

"What? But I told you clearly that I need no errors in the arrangement. I don't know what you will do but just get us a room there." He said barking on his phone making me look at him wide eyed.

"No! I don't want a room in that place. Did you even hear my orders yesterday night?" he asked rubbing his forehead.

"Rohan! Any room is ok for me." I said calmly hoping that he will stop this shouting.

"Stay away from this." He said giving me a side glance and continued to talk on the phone while I sighed moving away from him.

"Fine! I am forgiving you for this time, and this will be the last time." He said hanging up and then talked to the driver to take us to some other place, which is completely different than the place to where we were going in the beginning.

We both got inside the hotel to see that it is pretty big, but I don't know why is he so upset about this arrangement. Even the hotel room is luxurious, and we can see the beach too.

I shook my head not in the mood to think about his state of mind and his thinking. He is and will always be a madman who couldn't be understood by anyone in this world but except maybe by his wife.

"I am ready!" I said walking outside the washroom where he is pacing in front of the bed.

"We will go to the beach in the evening." That's all he said without even looking at me and sat on the bed fidgeting with his phone.

"Excuse me? Did we travel in the early morning itself to go there in the evening? I want to go there right now." I said folding my hands.

"Satvi!" he said, looking up at me.

"Fine! You stay here while I will go and enjoy." I said, walking towards the room and left it before he could reach me.

He continued to call me, but I just walked inside the elevator not looking behind. He eventually joined me, and we both got downstairs without sharing any word with each other.

When we walked outside, he started calling for a taxi, and I looked at him to check whether he is crazy or not. He looked back and asked, "What?"

"What?! You are actually taking a cab to reach the beach which is on the other side of the road. And you are asking me what?" I said, looking at him.

"We are going to some other beach and not this." That's all he said.

"What is the problem with this one?" I asked him frowning.

"Nothing! But we will not go there." He said like a command or something.

"Your wish!" I said, looking at him, and he sighed, hearing that, but I immediately added, "I will go to this one only."

I didn't give him any chance to say anything and just started walking towards the other side of the road with complete excitement to be there for the first time in my life. I grinned, looking around and then felt his presence behind me.

"Why can't you do something I ask you to for at least one time?" he asked with irritation evident in his tone.

"Thanks for this gift." I said, ignoring his question and just stared at the ocean.

"Well, happy birthday." He mumbled, and I glanced at him in surprise because finally he wished me.

"Thanks!" I said before I started walking towards the water and glanced back for a second to see that he is not following but is just standing there completely lost in his thoughts.

I frowned, but just continued to walk near the water, but my breath caught when my feet touched the water. I have always imagined this to be the most magical moment, but at present I am not feeling that.

I am feeling what I felt in all the nightmares like I am going to drown right now. Don't worry Satvi! Just take deep breaths. I chanted to myself and started doing that, but I couldn't bear it anymore.

I turned away from it and started walking towards him to beg him to take me away from him no matter what he says hearing my request.

*Rohan Pov* (SURPRISE)

I stared at her back while she just continued to walk towards the water. I don't want to be here right now, but I am sure she will not agree to my request at all, even if I plead her, and actually I don't want to plead her at all.

"Let's go near the water, Rohan." Swetha said, smiling at the water.

"Not now, Swetha. We will come here after some time." I said, smiling at her smiling face.

"But...." She started to say, but I cut her off saying, "Please!"

"Ok! We will come here when you want to." She said smiling at me, but I can see her fallen face which I don't want to make her feel at all.

"It's ok! Let's go near the water now itself." I said, holding her hand, smiling and started walking towards the water.

"No, Rohan! We will go when only you want to. Nothing is more important to me than you." She said hugging me.

"I love you!" I said kissing her head, and we walked towards our place.

I came out of my thoughts when I saw that Satvi is standing in front of me hugging herself with a terrified expression and mumbling "Can we go?"

"Ok!" I replied, not asking anything by seeing that terror on her face.

"Where?" I asked when we started walking towards the road.

"Anywhere! But why don't we have some breakfast?" She offered, and I nodded before calling a cab to go to the place where I know there will be the best food at this time of day.

*Satvi Pov*

"This is delicious!" I said, moaning having the best food I ever had in my life.

"I know!" He said shrugging, and I rolled my eyes hearing his words.

But I then remember that he was completely lost in his thoughts when I reached near him, but I couldn't bring myself to ask him anything as I want to go away from that place.

"By the way where were you lost from the time we reached the beach?" I asked him frowning.

"Don't ask something for which you can't give answers back. I can also ask you, why did you return and why did you look like you have seen a ghost, but I didn't right?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"That's because you don't know how to care." I said, feeling I don't know maybe anger or something else.

"I know how to care, but you don't even need my care." He said shrugging.

"Of course! You need some weak person to whom you can show your so-called care otherwise what will happen to your male ego. It needs some lifting right?" I asked him rolling my eyes.

"Can't you stay for one second without fighting?" he asked leaning forward.

"Can't you stay for one second without making me fight?" I asked him back leaning towards him, and he returned the stare because of which we started our staring match.

I started feeling some blinking of my eyes, on the way so I calmly slapped his hand making him blink and said "I won!"

"You are a kid." He said, shaking his head.

"At least I am an energetic kid and not some teacher's pet." I said, huffing and got up after he paid the bill.

"So where to now?" I asked him walking outside the hotel.

"Let's see!" he replied and we continued our journey going to some silly and the silliest places.

"When is our fight?" I asked him when we returned to our room in the evening.

"At midnight!" he replied, walking inside the washroom to freshen for the dinner, and I get to choose the place because I won the staring match in the morning, and he doesn't have any say in this.

"I really had a great time today." I said when we walked outside the hotel.

"But not near the ocean." He pointed out and I just looked at the other side not wanting to tell him about the reason.

"Ok! I already have a restaurant in my mind which I saw when we were traveling. So we can go there." I said changing the topic.

"Shall I call the cab?" he asked, looking for one.

"No need! It is in walking distance." I said pulling him towards the restaurant direction.

"Don't tell me you selected this." He mumbled when we neared the place.

"Why? What problem is there in that?" I asked him frowning.

"I will choose some other place." He said, turning to walk away, but I stopped him holding his hand.

"Why do you always don't go with the plan I do? I didn't do anything wrong in selecting this right? I even booked the reservations for us." I said frowning at him.

"How did you make the reservations?" he asked me frowning.

"There was a guide book in the hotel, and I just called for reservations in the names under Mr&Mrs.Choksi and I got them." I replied smiling at him.

"Don't say anything and just come with me." I added when he opened his mouth to reject I am sure.

Some manager got us towards our seats, and Rohan sighed before getting back normal and ordered for us. We have a calm dinner looking around the place, and I can say that it is beautiful.

"I will just go to the washroom." I said when he got up to leave after paying the bill.

When I returned I saw that he is near the entrance door talking to some old man, and I frowned before reaching near them, but I couldn't help but hear their words.

"Shall I parcel some food, Mr.Choksi?" That man asked.

"No need!" Rohan mumbled.

"Just call me if you need anything, and we will deliver the food to your house." He said, and Rohan nodded after which that man walked away.

"You have a house here?" I asked him, frowning and he got startled for a second hearing me, but composed himself and started walking towards the door.

He walked calmly without saying any word, and I decided to stay calm until we reach our place. When we did, I asked him the same question to which he just ignored me.

"I am asking you something, Rohan." I said turning him around.

"What? Yes, I have a house here and that too near the beach which is in ten minutes walking distance from here. As this Kolkata is my holiday spot. So?" he asked frowning at me after babbling.

"Then why are we staying in a hotel?" I asked him frowning back.

"Because..." he trailed off while I stared at him with still confusion, and then it felt like something hit my head.

"You stayed there with Swetha right?" I asked him, hoping that I get a negative answer.

"Yes!" he replied, frowning at my question.

So that is why he didn't want to stay at this hotel. Don't want to go to this particular beach and also the restaurant. He doesn't want memories with me where he had of his wife.

"Now I get it! You don't want me to be at a place where you have your precious Swetha's memories." I said snorting to which he started getting angry which I can see watching his face.

"What's wrong in that? If I want to save my wife's memories, then what's wrong is there in that?" he asked glaring at me.

"Shut up! I am your wife. Not her." I said, grabbing his collar.

"Wh...what?" he asked frowning.

"She is dead! And I am your wife so stop calling her as your wife or as My swetha and all." I replied, glaring at him and waited for him to say something hearing my words.

"Go and get ready! We have to reach the airport and not miss the fight as it will take a lot of time to reach there from here." That's all he said and my hands fell from his shirt hearing his words.

I walked inside the washroom and stared at the mirror chanting I will not cry. I will not cry in front of him, and I didn't, but felt a few tears slipping from the hold which I stopped immediately.

When I know that there will be something, which can hurt me then why did I hope for something different? I asked myself, but took a deep breath before freshening up and followed him to the checkout.

We reached the airport on time and got inside the flight immediately, but we didn't share a single word between us.

When the flight took off, I glanced outside the window and thought even though I saw the ocean with my own eyes and felt a little, but why am I feeling like I was not able to touch it properly.

And to top of that, why I feel that the thought also applied to something else other than about the ocean.
