*Satvi Pov*

"You have to wait outside." I said, glaring at my Ex-best friend.

"No!" he mumbled, walking towards the doctor room along with me.

I glanced back to find that my husband just disappeared. If possible, I will kill him right now and that too with my bare hands for leaving me like this.

"Ms.Satvi! How have you been feeling lately?" Doctor asked when we walked inside.

I am very surprised that he even remembers me. Then again, I was for one year in this hospital under his wing, so I am sure I made a mark of myself here.

"It's Mrs.Choksi now." Karthik said making me fume a little.

What does he think he is doing? Does he think by telling the world that I am married, I will not be behind him attempting to steal him away from my sister? I would rather die before even getting such thought in my mind.

"Oh!" doctor mumbled fidgeting with his hands gulping and then asked us to sit down, but the frown on my face with his behavior didn't leave.

He has written down some tests, and I got through them with karthik following me everywhere not leaving my behind. I groaned, but couldn't say anything by making the attention directed towards us.

"Does my sister know you 're here with me? Isn't she going to get hurt?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"He told me that you know, but I didn't know that you even heard the words." He replied looking down.

"I am very glad that I did. I finally got to know at least my family is on my side." I said fisting my hands.

"I am your family." He said, frowning, which we always used to tell each other from the time we were kids.

"Not anymore and maybe not from the beginning too." I said, looking away and hope to stop the tears from flowing.

"You will always be my family, Satvi. I know you think this is a bad thing that is happening to you, but trust me it is not. Try to have some patience for a few days." He said and I frowned, not understanding a single word he is uttering.

After a long wait, we finally got called, with all the results. Checking all the tests the doctor finally concluded that I am slowly progressing for better health and even prescribed for new medicines.

"Do you have anything else to ask?" he asked after a few minutes.

"Can I have some privacy for a few minutes?" I asked Karthik who is sitting quiet all this time.

"No!" he said, shaking his head.

"Ok then! I don't have anything to ask." I said frowning.

"Fine! I am leaving." He said leaving the room.

"How can I remember the day I got into an accident? Are there any medical sessions which I can go through to remember it?" I asked him with such a desperation that I feel surprised at myself.

"Mrs.Choksi! I would like to be very honest with you." He replied frowning.

"Please! I would like that so much as I am missing it." I said nodding my head.

"Even though all the operations are successful you are still weak. If you try to remember the past, then it will affect you so much and even have a danger of you going into a coma again. You nearly died the day you woke up if you remember." He explained calmly.

"But when can I remember then?" I asked him after few minutes not wanting to remember about my crashing that day in the hospital.

"When I can see that you are capable of putting stress on your brain, I will myself suggest the medical sessions for you. You need not to worry about that, but just try to follow our suggestions." He replied, and I nodded getting up.

"Thanks for the honesty." I mumbled before leaving his cabin.

"What did he say?" Karthik asked immediately standing up from the chair.

"This doesn't involve you." I replied before walking towards the entrance.

"Satvi!" he called following me.

"It is Mrs.Choksi." I said turning back throwing a glare at him.

"Wow! Within two hours, you were able to make my wife accept her marital status." I heard an amused voice and turned towards the entrance to see Rohan walking towards us.

"Can we leave?" I asked, ignoring his words.

"Sure!" He replied, but Karthik stopped holding my hand.

"I am really sorry about the words I said, Satvi. I... I know you must think I am the bad guy here, but please don't be mad at me and tell us what did the doctor said." Karthik pleaded me.

"I will tell my husband about it because it concerns him, but not to a stranger." I said with his words and betrayal running in my mind.

He flinched leaving my hand and walked outside the hospital literally running away. I felt a little guilty for being so hard, but then again, he betrayed our friendship.

"You know, you shouldn't be that hard on him." I heard the words surprisingly from Rohan, which made my jaw drop literally.

What is happening here? That Karhtik is saying that my marriage to this guy is the best thing, and now this guy is saying that I am being hard on Karthik.

"When did you both become best friends forever? If you forgot you actually threatened to ruin his life if I don't marry you." I said, shaking my head and left the building with him following me.

"Shall we go?" I heard the words coming from the man leaning on Rohan's car who is none other than Karthik.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked raising my voice.

Rohan suddenly circled my waist with his hand and mumbled "Be a good wife and keep quiet. We are in public, and he is our guest for dinner."

"What!" I screamed with shock.

Because of which he squeezed my waist tightly and mumbled "Be quiet!"

Karthik opened the passenger door, and Rohan pushed me inside literally and they both got inside with Karthik sitting in the back.

"You really hate me don't you? Until yesterday, you don't want me to meet anyone but now when I say I don't want to meet that particular person you are throwing him at me." I said fuming inside and maybe even outside.

"Like you said we both became BFFs." he replied, looking ahead while driving.

"Don't you have a better taste in choosing?" I asked him sarcastically.

"You suggested your taste to me." He replied with same sarcasm.

"I am still here." Karthik mumbled from his seat clearing his throat.

"Shut up!" Rohan and I said at a time.

"What a sweet couple you both are?" Karthik said chuckling to himself.

"I wish I didn't wake up at all from this coma." I mumbled leaning back in my seat feeling a slight headache with so many questions.

"Shut up!" Karthik said scolding me.

"You lost the right to scold me, Ex-best friend." I said shaking my head.

I looked outside to see a big classy restaurant when the car stopped. I groaned, not feeling hungry at all.

I got outside of the car before them and folded my arms waiting while the valet waiting to get the car keys to park it. I smiled at him before walking towards the entrance and stood before the manager who is walking towards the door.

"Mr.Choksi!" I said when he smiled at me.

"I know, madam." He said smiling while I looked at him confused but immediately understood when I felt a hand around my waist.

"Is she here?" Rohan asked Karthik while walking towards the table manager is leading us.

"Yes!" Karthik mumbled, and we continued to walk until we are on the back side of the restaurant and saw huts making me chuckle.

Three pairs of eyes immediately looked at me with raised eyebrows, and I coughed awkwardly ignoring their stares. Come on, this is such a big restaurant, but everyone loves it for the huts. I felt so much irony right here.

"Leela?" I mumbled with shock seeing her sitting in one hut.

"Di! How did the tests go?" She asked hugging me.

"Fine!" I replied before sitting down in one chair. Rohan sat beside me while Karthik sat beside Leela. What is exactly happening here?

"Shall we order?" Leela asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"I will go to the washroom. You guys order for me." I said, getting up and left the hut before they can say anything.

Nonetheless, then I remember that I don't know where it is. I can also see this as a running chance, but what about the money and where will I live after reaching some place with no certificates of mine.

I shook my head and walked back towards the hut to ask them for directions, but stopped in my tracks hearing their words. Looks like I am going to get a degree in this ear dropping.

"She hates me." Karthik mumbled.

"You did a mistake by joining hands with this man." Leela said scolding him.

"That man is sitting right here." Rohan mumbled.

"I am not talking to you." Leela spatted.

"Looks like someone is still angry." Rohan said coldly.

"I will never forgive you, Mr.Choksi. I am on my sister's side in this one." Leela said with the same coldness.

"Leela!" Karthik mumbled and looks like he is trying to stop her.

"Don't say anything to me. I am already regretting so much, and I don't want to do another stupid thing, which can hurt her. She is a human being for god's sake and shouldn't get locked down." Leela said and I so want to hug her right now.

"She is fine!" Rohan said coldly as usual.

"I will forgive you when she forgives you." Leela said with finality, and no one talked again after that.

Oh god! Put some wall in front of me so that I can hit my head on it continuously right now and understand what other meanings, there is in their words.

"I will go to the washroom." I heard Leela and then saw her coming outside while I took a few steps back immediately to put some space between me and the hut.

"Di!" She said walking towards me.

"Can you show me the washroom?" I asked her, and she nodded before we started walking towards the direction.

"Di!" she called while I stood before the mirror washing my face.

"What?" I asked, frowning at her.

"Here!" she replied, giving me an envelope while I frowned at her.

I opened it to see some cash making my mouth wide open in shock. She looked around nervously and said "If you think you definitely are required to run, then use this money. But try to not as much as you can for your safety."

"Give it some time, Di. Everything will be fine soon." She added, kind of repeating the Karthik's words.

"Why are you giving me this?" I asked her frowning.

"To wash away part of the regret." She replied looking down.

"Don't feel like that anymore, Leela. Past is past right?" I asked her and hugged her sighing.

"Did you guys get the house and company?" I asked her while walking outside after hiding the envelope safely inside my dress.

"Yes! I wish you can be happy, Di." She said while we were near the hut.

At present, I am wishing for even more important one, and those are some answers. I want answers for everything as soon as possible.
