"Guys! Did you know a new trainee is coming? They are from SM!" A fellow trainee gossiped to her friend, rocking back and forth on her place. Early practice for the evening was done and the trainees were taking a break. Seungmin, Minho, Felix, and Jeongin were seated together, having a conversation of their own. "An SM trainee?" Jeongin muttered, hearing the others. "Yeah! They are famous! Wow, I can't believe y/n's coming here!"

A girl exclaimed, earning the attention of more trainees and they soon found themselves gushing about the mentioned trainee. "Y/n? I think I've heard that name before" Felix says, leaning against the mirror. Seungmin kept quiet, watching his fellow trainee friends talk. He found it quite absurd that practically everyone was talking about you when he's only hearing about you for the first time. A famous trainee he didn't know?

Soon, the trainees began to disperse having enough rest and daily gossip. Seungmin and his friends were barely outside the practice room when a short person had crashed onto Felix. "Whoa!" He exclaimed balancing himself and holding the other person down. "It's you! Y/n!" Jeongin shouted, pointing at you with a grin. At the exact moment, you and seungmin let out a wild yell, the other three backing away in shock.

"Y-you-"

"Oh shit" Looking down, both you and seungmin watched the tattoos gaining its another half. "Wow" Minho mumbled as he saw the identical marks. Extending his hand out, seungmin smiled lightly, to which you grinned before taking his hand. "What? So it was a star? I thought it was a tooth all this time" Felix said running his hand over your now completed tattoo. The three gave him a confused look.

"Yeah yeah- let me talk to her", Seungmin said, sweating away Felix's hand.

"Oh geez so protective" Jeongin joked as the three walked away leaving behind a blushing and annoyed seungmin. "My friends are like that don't mind them. Anyway, I'm Kim Seungmin" He smiled brightly. "And I'm Y/N L/N"

"Let's go outside?" He suggests, looking out through the glass door. Without hesitating, you set off to the first outing. You never heard of seungmin, nor any JYP trainees except 3racha. And you were astonished to find this cute puppy.

Both of you walked on the streets, masks up, coffee cups full, and coats on. Seungmin shared his story of winning 2nd in JYP's 13th recruitment audition and starting his life as a trainee. You also shared your audition story, which was quite funny. You and your friend auditioned, both got in and she quit the third week while you were moving after three years. SM felt too strict for you and they just seemed to keep you as a trainee when you already became this famous.

Moreover, who would deny being under the same label as 3racha? Seungmin was honestly surprised to hear you left SM for 3racha. "These three are gonna brag so much if they knew you came to JYP for them", He said, scrunching his face. You only chuckled, finding it rather cute.

"You're famous among our trainees, I think you'll debut early here" Seungmin said, walking next to you. However, he only received a tired sigh from you. "I do hope I get to debut- but I'm scared" Seungmin blinked twice at your confession. What was his soulmate scared of? He's so ready to throw hands.

"Scared of what?"

You bit your lips, staring ahead at the streetlights. "The survival. I want to be in a group you know? But back at SM, most of the trainees grouped with me to get noticed and get higher scores" You truthfully said, shuddering at the memory of the sick smile those trainees had given you. "That's horrible" Muttered Seungmin.

"I know right... Then I think about going solo and I don't want that- like I'm not a socializing person but, being alone to share your worries and happiness in your career, it-it's scary" Seungmin nodded understanding your worry. He never had thought Chan would want him in the team and yet here he was. Suddenly, Seungmin held your wrist, stopping you on track. "What?" You asked as the boy giggled.

"I don't know if it will work- but let's give it a try" You were utterly confused at his words, try what?

The walk back was fairly quicker as Seungmin grinned widely pulling you with him. However, instead of the JYP building, he had brought you to the dorms and was already knocking on a door. "Is this your dorm?" You asked looking around the small hallway waiting for someone to open the door. "No, it's my friends, I live at my house"

Before you could question further, the door opened and a cheerful-looking Felix was surprised to see Seungmin, even more, shook to see you also. "What are you two doing here?"

"Long story" Seungmin said before pushing you inside. "Hi, I'm y/n" you awkwardly greeted the Australian, who happily shook your hand. "Lee yongbok or Felix" You smiled at him before Seungmin had once again dragged you to the living room. "Who came Lix-" Jisung stopped halfway, seeing you and Seungmin. "Wtf is Y/N doing in our dorm?!" He yelled pointing at you and Seungmin.

You were honestly trembling, one from the fact that he knew you, two he was J.One from 3racha. "J.One! It's your dorm!" You yelled with the same octaves of voice as his. "You know me!" Exclaimed Jisung, similarly excited. Felix and Seungmin stared at both of you, entertained. Never had they seen two so identical people. "I'm a big fan of you!" "Me too!" "Your last track named  Badassery was so dope!" Jisung and you gush as the front door opens and comes in a smiley grocery boy Bang Chan.

"Oh my god! CB97!" You squealed loudly as Chan dropped his bags. Hearing the commotion, Jeongin also exited his room. "Y/N!" The eldest and the maknae exclaimed simultaneously. "You guys know y/n?" Seungmin squinted his eyes at the two. "Yeah! Like who wouldn't?" Bang Chan said a proud yet shy grin making its way to your lips. And oh boi as much as Seungmin didn't want to admit, he was jelly.

"I'm her soulmate" Chan and Jisung stopped their fanboy shenanigans, looking between you and Seungmin. "Whoa! Congrats dude!" Jisung laughed, shaking Seungmin's hand while Chan gave a wink to the younger male. "Why did you bring her here though?" Felix asked, taking a lolipop out of nowhere and giving it to you. "She's a trainee at JYP now and I wanted to ask if she could also join our group- to debut" Seungmin nonchalantly blurted out making you choke.

"What?!"

"You know her well- why not?" Seungmin said, shrugging his shoulders and sending a smile your way. "I think it's a great idea, we might get to debut early and y/n can be a great asset to us" Jisung pounders looking at Chan in excitement, by this time, Seungmin, Felix, Jeongin, Jisung and you were giving him puppy eyes.

"I can produce songs, rap, and sing. I also know how to make coffee- what do you say?" You appeal, unexpectedly hoping a yes, though 99% of your heart said no. "I'd like less sugar then" BangChan stated, crossing his arms and smirking.

"Wait- you mean I can join?!"

Bang Chan nodded his head and the room burst into cheers. "Thank you!" You shouted and ran off to seungmin, taking him in an embrace. "Thank you so much Seungmin. I mean it" You whispered and felt his hands snake around your back. "You're welcome"

"Okay no PDA there are single and young kids here" Jisung joked, hiding away Jeongin's eyes. "Shut up"

Later, both of you had parted ways, walking back to your respective houses. Seungmin couldn't hold back his grin, same for you. Your soulmate saved you from a possible cause of depression and you turned Seungmin's day better. Both end up sharing the same dream.
