Everyone was honestly improving due to Leila's training regime for morning and afternoon. And Leila has made friends with Sylvia, Grace and Griffin. Not only has their skills drastically started to improve their grades have improved as well.

I wish a few of them would study more because their grades are going to need improvements before they can participate by school standards but we can discuss that later "alright everyone gather in"I said and they all came "what's going on"Nova asked "we will be fielding today but you and Storm will be pitching. And Leila will be batting. Your goal is to strike her out. Jeremey will be catching to give our catchers some first base practice this week and next week we will be doing the same thing but with our catchers"I explained

"Got it so everyone needs to stay alert and take turns"Grace asked "exactly"Jeremy said "Leila"I said "yeah"take this seriously but no hitting home runs"I said

"understood"she said "storm and nova pitch like this would be an actual game"I said "understood"they both said "you have fifty balls to pitch with. Storm you will go first nova you play second base. Yuri, Ethan and Violet you will pitch after nova and Storm"I said "got it"the five said and went to their positions

Leila got on her gloves, helmet and bat. Then she went on home. Storm took a deep breath before throwing her a four-seam fastball. Normally that would be a strike but Leila always swings strikes and hits the ball. She hit the ball down to left field everyone wasn't paying attention except for Griffen who caught the ball.

"That was supposed to be a strike"Storm said "don't forget Leila has been playing since she was three and she doesn't strike out"I said and Storm nodded with determination. He threw her a slider and she hit it directly to right field where Grace caught the ball. This went on until there were no more balls left. And everyone got a turn catching "she didn't strike out once"Nova said bringing the balls in.

I looked at Leila who stretched "any pointers"I asked "we can go over them during the weekend at the batting cages. Griffen, Grace and Sylvia will be joining as well"Leila said "got it"I said "once the pitchers are done do you mind pitching so they can get batting practice in"Jeremy asked "got it"Leila said

So Storm can throw four-seam fastballs, two-seam fastballs, sliders, and curve balls. But I think we can also teach him to throw forkballs, and cutters. That we he can at least pitch six different ways. Now let's see Nova. Just like Storm she pitched four-seam fastball. Then a two-seam fastball. Then she pitched a cutter and then a curve ball. It switched from those four. So she can learn to also pitch a forkball and a slider.

Like Storm she couldn't strike Leila out. Now it was Yuri's turn. He threw curve balls, forkballs, and sliders. He can learn both fastballs and splitters. He couldn't strike out Leila either. Now it was Ethan's turn. He can throw screwballs, forkballs, and both fastballs. He can learn slurve balls and splitters. He also couldn't strike out Leila.

Finally it was violets turn. She was able to throw splitters, forkballs, slurve balls and palm balls. She can learn cutters and screwballs as well. And she also couldn't strike out Leila. But at least now they have a goal. And I know what to teach them as well.

And everyone got fielding practice as well which was good and they all caught the balls "bring it in everyone"I said "and the balls"Violet asked "no leave them there Leila will be pitching and you guys will be batting"I said "got it"Leila said putting her stuff away and getting her glove.

Everyone got out their bats, helmets and gloves. We need to get uniforms, helmets with the school logo on it, along with bats with the school logo on it as well and get them bags with the school logo on it. And their names on them. That way we can't get them mixed up. Along with gloves. We need to check how much we have in the budget in order to do all that have enough for transportation during games.

"How good of a pitcher is Leila"Storm asked "she knows every single pitch and she should've been the girls pitcher. But she doesn't pitch anymore"I said "why"Storm asked "not my story to tell"I said and he nodded before getting ready to bat. He got into position.

"Strike one"I said as Jeremy caught the ball "I didn't even see it get thrown"Storm said "Leila's pitches are known as ghost pitches because you can't see them due to how fast they are"Jeremy explained "so that's championship competitive level"Storm said "it is but this is just practice though"I said and he nodded getting focused

She's going to strike them all out. And that she did "can we go again"Grace asked "we're gonna make contact this time bunny girl"Gale said pointing his bat at Leila "bunny girl"Leila asked confused "nicknames are my brothers sign of respect for someone"Emma said and Leila nodded. She had a slight smile on her face but no one noticed. I'm glad that they are slowly breaking her out of her shell.
