So quick background on Selah's relationship with Chris.

They were in the same college and they started relating *I don't know how.* They became good friends; one thing led to another and he started dating a girl named Trisha in her class; their friendship shattered. I'm not blaming them and no one is at fault.

There was no communication and nothing left to prove their friendship to each other but she loved him so much. Years have passed and she thinks he's dead, no offense to the character, she has forgotten him sef. Now, he sent her a friend request in the previous chapter. So follow me, let's see what's up.

The friend request from Chris mozzed her so much. He was the one that abandoned their friendship, forgot about her and never tried to contact her; it was as if she didn't exist anymore.

She had accepted the request, no doubt but she needed answers; he couldn't just crawl back into her life like a spider and hope to have a web home beside her heart or cup of coffee and a house warming party, so she sent a message to him.

Selah : Hi

Then went offline to do her business, hopefully he'll come online and reply then she'll fire him with questions.

Days had passed, she monitored her messenger for messages particularly from him and she got it a week after.

Chris : Hello Selah

Selah : Wow...I'm amazed. First of all, how did you find me?

Chris : Girl I know your name na

Selah : Omg! He knows my name

She typed back sarcastically and bit her lips slowly out of anger; also to avoid injuring herself.

Chris : How have you been? Longest time.

Selah : Seriously? You disappeared on me, cut off every relationship and now you're asking me how I am ?

Chris : Is it a crime? I just want to know how you're doing?'

Selah : I hear you. I'm fine. How's Trisha?

Chris : She is fine but that is history.

Then he went offline.

See this guy o. So because you and Trisha are not dating anymore, you want to row your boat gently back to this stream...you lie.

Everyday, they chatted and she kept hitting him with questions, left right and center; forming too so that he'll know he had to fight to get her back. I love you so much and I never stopped but it's a different Selah now, you have to work harder than before.

Her phone rang and it was Chris let the phone ring, gosh I want to pick up and talk to him...hear his deep sexy voice but control yourself babe, have class. If he doesn't call again, then he isn't serious.

It's as if he read her mind cause he called a second time and the third time before she picked the call.

'I have been calling you, were you sleeping?'

'No, my phone wasn't with me. Why did you call ni?'

'I know you and I have had issues in the past but for the sake of a new year, let by-gone be by-gone.'

'Really? Okay Sir. Your wish is my command.' Me allow it to go...forgive and forget ke, tomorrow they'll say I'm too cheap and soft, lieh.

'You hardly have my time these days, you just abandoned me, eh?' Segun told Selah one evening when they hung out, 'you even forgot that we had to see this evening.'

She tapped and nodded her head slowly, she had forgotten due to her recent chats and time spent with Chris.

'Abeg no vex. Lately, I've had so much on my plate... trying to decide what to do with my life,' she looked back at him.

'Issorait. Let's go and get food, so that you'll go back to hostel. School is resuming officially tomorrow.'

She got up but stopped, then looked at him.

'Can I sleep in your place tonight. My roommates are not back yet, and I can't sleep in the room alone.'

'Sure, no p.'

She smiled, 'thank you. No touching,' she pushed him lightly.

'Ouch...now I'm offended.'

'I'm just joking o.' But seriously, no touching, hands to yourself...maybe I'll sleep on the floor, say it's heat.
