I don't believe it

WARNING: Some of you are going to be angry at me for writing my opinions on Animal Whisperers, psychics, Big Foot, the Lochness Monster, UFOs, ghost-sightings, talking to dead family members, etc. But these are my personal opinions. I'm NOT saying you're wrong for believing in these things or, if you are a whisperer or psychic, please don't take it personally. Just chill, okay? :)

===========================

I used to believe in Santa Claus,

taking eight flying reindeer or climbing down a chimney or,

delivering presents to all the children in the world,

all in one night.

I used to believe in the Tooth Fairy,

taking baby teeth of children,

left under pillows at night,

and changing them into little coins to buy goodies with.

I used to believe cats were girls

and dogs were boys,

without any connection to the boy cat

or the girl dog that lived next door.

But all three of these,

not anymore.

I don't believe in animal whisperers,

who claim to hear the voices of animals,

and always understand them,

but, the truth is, you can just be really good at

convincing gullible people who will believe if you told them,

your dog is always talking with a dead relative of yours

who died in the house,

and that's why he barks a lot.

Whisperers are observant,

and researchers searching the web for your Facebook,

where your life is on display and,

they can make you believe they are actually

hearing the animal's thoughts.

(Apparently animals always think in the human language.)

I don't believe in psychics,

who claim to have connections with the spirit world.

Believe what you like but these people are,

masters of deception, clever tricksters, money grabbers (personal opinion),

making you pay to ask them to ask your dead grandpa,

if he forgives you for selling his old house.

But like Whisperers, psychics are observant,

and researchers stalking your Facebook.

(Even a hint of information can make it sound like they actually know.)

"I'm getting something about music," they say,

You say, "He loved to play the guitar! Oh my gosh!"

But, you wrote on your Facebook,

"Grandpa loved to play the guitar."

I don't believe in ghosts,

(although it's fun to talk about them)

because don't you think it strange that,

only some people can see or hear them?

Don't you think maybe they're just hallucinating or,

they are trying too hard to be,

"ghost seeing people"

to become the talk of table?

And if you plant an idea in someone's head,

like a smudge in the picture looks like a face,

(maybe dead Elvis is trying to communicate?)

and go on and on about it,

making a case that Elvis did visit there,

heck, you can convince gullible people,

who believe anything that's on TV,

so why wouldn't they believe you?

I don't believe in childish things,

or magic, or mind readers, or whisperers,

or ghosts, or psychics,

or Big Foot sightings or Lochness Monsters,

or strange creature sightings

(like in the weird part of YouTube),

or people with tails,

or animal body parts this or that,

or UFOs coming but never landing

(and if they did they crash landed,

and were immediately confiscated by the government,

without a trace),

or any of the crazy but,

I will say,

some of it is fascinating to watch,

only because I am fascinated,

at how far one will go to make a case that,

these crazy things are actually real.
