Katsuki had always wondered who his soulmate was

He wondered if they were a boy or a girl, he wonders if they're short or tall, he wonders what color his hair might be, he wonders how many freckles they have on their body, he wonders if their eyes are really that green-

Katsuki doesn't care if it's his faith to end up with someone else, he is Katsuki Bakugou and he never gives up damnit, he'll make Izuku his soulmate, what are the chances he'd find someone with the kind of soulmark he has? The soulmark he got was an green fluffy sheep with stubby short legs, it was on top of a sunflower, it's one of the most intricate soulmark he has seen, his was so much simpler with an explosion and a trophy silhouette

Also, there's no way that Izuku wasn't faithed to get this soulmark, the moment he saw it he was so sure that it was Izuku, he could feel it in his gut, which is why he's 100% Izuku is just hiding his soulmark from him, he just needs to look more clearly but Izuku doesn't want to take baths with him anymore, saying that they're big boys

Of course Katsuki is also a big boy so like a big boy, he doesn't bath with his friend anymore, even if he really wants to

Also Izuku hasn't been as comfortable as he was with Katsuki back then, the boy is very hesitant with even changing his clothes next to Katsuki

Maybe he has a crush on me and he thinks it's not right since I have a soulmate?

Katsuki nodded, fully accepting that theory as true

"I like you Izuku, go out with me" Izuku looks at him, a bit confused before he nods

"Of course Kacchan, same time same place right? It's been awhile since we hung out with each other!" The greenette chirps out

Hang out?

"Who says that we're hanging out?" Izuku looks more confused

"Aren't you asking me to hang out?"

"I'm asking you out a date you nincompoop" Izuku shakes his head

"Kacchan, I'm not your soulmate, also haven't you read stuff? You shouldn't like anyone else aside from your soulmate if you're a hero since they tend to be targets, you should flood them with lots and lots of love while you can"

"I'll protect you from them"

"Protect your soulmate"

"I'll protect you"

"Kacchan..." Izuku pouts

Katsuki had always like to insist that Izuku was his soulmate, at first Izuku thought Katsuki found out about it but when he heard what the blonde has to say, he sighed in relief, Katsuki didn't know

He's read of them before, most of the marked heroes die because their soulmates are held hostages and they'd rather die than risk their soulmates getting killed, knowing Katsuki, he's definitely that type of person, at first he was planning to finally say that hey Katsuki, I'm your soulmate and all that stuff but after reading about stuff like that, the idea doesn't seem too good with Izuku

I don't want to hold Kacchan down, he'll be the best hero, I can feel it

The thought of being actually markless and quirkless suddenly sounds appealing to Izuku

As long as I don't hold Kacchan down, it should be fine

"Okay class, we have a new classmate with us, he's not from this part of town so please be nice to him!" Their teacher says

There was a kid with almost shoulder length black hair, he has a scar in his eye brow, he looked kinda nervous

"Introduce yourself"

"Hi! My name is Kirishima Ejirou But you can call me anything you want! Please take care of me!" He said, bowing

"You can go sit next to Katsuki, he's the only blonde person in the room" Kirishima nods and quietly makes his way to his seat and sat down, he waved at Katsuki

Katsuki stared, the guy keeps on smiling

Something about what Katsuki did in class made Kirishima want to be his friend- of course this means that Izuku was bound to also be his friend, and of course once Izuku has made a friend they'll inevitably become Katsuki's friend too

"Good morning Kirishima-kun! Nice day today isn't it?" Izuku says, it was morning and he was jogging with Kacchan when they passed by the black haired male, Izuku skids to a stop and Katsuki stops too because he can't go jogging without his friend damnit

"What are you guys doing?"

"We're jogging! Wanna join?"

"Oi Deku! Ask me first if I allo-"

"Sure!" Izuku smiles

"Oi stupid Deku! Ask me first! I'm not jogging with that guy!" Izuku huffed

"Well I guess you're gonna have to jog alone, me and Kirishima-kun are gonna jog together!" Izuku says, running to the black haired in an instant, Katsuki screams, Izuku grabs the black haired teens hand before sprinting, Kirishima stumbled due to the sudden pull but quickly gained balance and started to run with Izuku rather than just getting dragged by him

Katsuki screams as he tries to catch up to them but Izuku was fast and Kirishima though not as fast, kept on a constant pace, they quickly turned to a corner and giggled as they watched Katsuki run forward, passing by them

"He's so intense! I like it!" Kirishima says

"I know right? He's so manly!"

"... manly?"

"Yeah he's so manly isn't he?"

"Yeah! He's so manly! Why have I never used that word before?! It definitely fits him! Thanks dude!"

"Haha, you're welcome!"

"Kacchan I'm sorry please don't be mad at me anymore!" Izuku whined, snuggling up to the blonde who seems set on ignoring him, he's currently at Katsuki's house, in his room, Katsuki was reading some sort of book but Izuku's sure that that's just for props, the book was upside down after all

"Kacchan you're the coolest and bestest person that I know, please don't ignore me, please?" Katsuki glances at him for a second before ignoring him again, atleast he's making progress

He was about to give up until a brilliant idea suddenly sprouted from his head, he shyly snuggles up to the blondes neck and quietly whispers

"Alpha..." Katsuki's eyes widen and he stays completely still in shock

"Izuku?"

"Haha I finally got your attention!" Izuku cheered, hugging the blonde tightly

"I'm an alpha"

"Yes you are" Izuku replies, happily

"You're an omega"

"What's that Kacchan?"

"Small and weak"

"I'm not that short Kacchan, also I'm sure that role is just for girls, I'm a beta then right?"

"No, omega" Izuku huffed, before he grinned

"Whatever makes you happy, Kacchan!"

Katsuki and Izuku walked to school together, they sat down, Katsuki's desk is just right infront of Izuku's

Kirishima walks in and Katsuki stands up

"Alpha, fight me!" Kirishima blinks, he looks at Izuku, probably confused over why the blonde suddenly wanted to fight him

"Uh... were in school dude! That challenge is super manly though! I accept!" Izuku quietly hopes that whatever quirk Kirishima has is strong enough against Katsuki, at the end of class, both boys left to march in the forest where no one can see them- Katsuki dragged Izuku along despite the greenettes protests because it's not like Izuku was going to fight too, why does he have to watch

They found an area with not too many trees and decided that as a good enough place to fight, Izuku hid himself behind a tree

"Hey let's remove our uniforms first! They might get dirty or scarred- don't worry we'll keep the shorts and the polo on but my mom would be angry if I got a tear in my uniform again" Katsuki rose a brow to that, they started to unbutton their vests and and quickly put it aside, Izuku quietly takes it while the two started brawling with each other

They're not using quirks

Then he noticed that Katsuki's quirk probably would set the forest on fire, good for them, he hears a piece of fabric ripping and suddenly everything is quiet

"Dude... are you seriously my soulmate?" Izuku quietly glances over, Kacchan's polo has been ripped- not to shreds but there was a tear on it, showing off his soulmark in his upper chest

"The fuck no, this is my soulmates mark!"

"Oh I see... Wait we have the same soulmate?!"

"What the fuck I'm not sharing Izuku with anyone!"

"Izuku's our soulmate?!"

"MY SOULMATE, YOU PIECE OF GARBAGE I'LL KILL YOU FOR TRYING TO CLAIM MY OMEGA-"

"D-Dude calm down I'm not trying to- IZUKU HELP ME!"

Izuku huffed, he's finally done bandaging Kirishima up, they were back at his house since his mom wasn't there and he could sneak Kirishima, Izuku learned how to bandage people up when Katsuki got in way too many fights even when he was just in kindergarten

"Wow! You're just like my mom!" Izuku grins

"Here! I'll kiss it to make it feel better!" Izuku said, gently kissing the bandage in Kirishima's cheek

Katsuki took a band aid and placed it on his lips, then he tugged Izuku and pointed at it, Izuku huffed

"I'm not gonna kiss you there Kacchan, place it on your cheek and I'll reconsider!" Katsuki removes it and places it on his cheek, Izuku kissed the bandaid

"So are you like, really our soulmate, Izuku?" Izuku shakes his head

"No no, Katsuki just wants it to be me, I'm markless"

"Oh, well I think you're pretty cool! I definitely wouldn't have mind if it was you" Izuku smiles

"Thanks Kirishima-kun!"
