Wild West (Doc xreader)

(2053 words)

Your POV

I was with Doc in the DeLorean as we were flying overhead of Marty. It was raining pretty hard and we had to get him before we could leave.

"Doc! You don't want to get struck by lightning!" he said and sure enough. The crack of thunder erupted in the sky followed by lightning that hit the DeLorean. We flashed through time before we ended up at in the dessert. I looked at Doc as he looked over. "We aren't in 1955 anymore," he said and i nodded.

We stashed the DeLorean quickly before we looked around. We started our trek into town. We were met with an 1885 Hill Valley. Beauregard Tannen, or more widely known as Mad Dog Tannen was running Hill Valley. I looked to Doc as he rose a brow for a moment. I sighed gently as we walked around a bit more before a couple asked us who we were.

"I'm the new blacksmith here, and this is my daughter Genevieve," he said as he looked over to me. I smiled gently as I looked to the two men. "Good afternoon, boys." I said as they tipped their hats to me. They gave a nod and let us on our way. Doc looked over to me after we were able to locate the blacksmith shop. I looked at him. "Daughter? Really Doc?" I asked and he rubbed his face.

"It'll be fine, they don't need to know that we aren't actually related. We just need to blend in until Marty can get here. Until then we need a change of clothes." he said as he looked at me. I sighed and nodded as we got situated in Wild West Hill Valley.

Later that night we were trying to think of a way to get out of the west. I looked over to Doc as he was writing something. I stood up and leaned onto his shoulder as I looked at the paper. "What's that for?" I asked and he looked up at me. "It's a letter to Marty telling him that we're both alive and that we're in 1885" he said and I hummed a little.

"Do you think he'll come to get us?" I asked as I leaned on the table. "If my calculations are correct he will. You know how Marty is." he said and I nodded a little. I was going to say something else before Mad Dog Tannen walked inside. "Blacksmith! I need you to re-shoe my horse." he said before he caught sight of me.

He smirked as he walked over all prideful. Tipping his had to me he smiled as he flashed me his tobacco stained teeth. In the name of Thomas Alva Edison, please don't. I put on my best smile as I looked at him. "I do believe I never caught your name little lady." he said and I nodded gently. "That's because I never threw it." I said and Doc tried not to smile as he had the horse in the workshop. "Careful little lady. I run this town. Best make a good impression" he said and I smiled gently as I walked over to his horse. "Be careful yourself, Beauregard. Pride is a sin, you know." I said and he gritted his teeth a little before he spits in the spitting bucket.

He shuffled to the door a little before he looked back at me. "I've never been a holy man. Committing each deadly sin in the bible and learning your name are at the top of my book." he said before he walked out with his goons. I looked at Doc and shuddered. He pulled me over and rubbed my back as he hugged me.

"I really hate that guy." I said and he nodded a little. "We won't have to deal with him anymore once Marty gets here." he said and I nodded a little before I looked at the horse. "We better get this one reshoed before Tannen comes after the both of us. If everyone thinks I'm your daughter and something happens to you, I don't know what they'd do to me." I said and he nodded a little before he kissed my forehead. "Try not to think about it" he said and I nodded as he started to re-shoe the horse.

I looked at the horse as we were done before I lead her outside of the workshop. I rubbed her side a little as I smiled at her. Doc followed me outside as he smiled gently. "You never told me you loved horses." he said and I looked at him for a second before I smiled and shrugged. "They're my favorite animal. They're really smart and social." I said before he nodded. We stopped as Tannen walked over and took his horse, not paying for the job.

-A week later-

We were in the workshop before we heard a lot of hooting and hollering from outside. I looked over to Doc before he grabbed his gun and we went outside. We followed the commotion as people were looking at the clocktower. I looked at Doc as I saw who it was. "Is that?" I asked and he nodded before he aimed and shot the rope holding Marty.

Tannen looked over to us before he growled. "Blacksmith! You owe me 80 dollars!" he said and Doc put the gun on his hip. "For what do you figure?" he asked and Tannen pointed at him. "That horse you shoed threw a shoe, and was useless. So I shot that horse and now you owe me 75 for the horse and 5 for the shoe!" he said and Doc shook his head. "You never paid me for the job. I suppose we're even" he said and Marty got up slowly.

I clenched my jaw a little as Tannen went to yell more demands. He went to walk over to us before I stepped in front of him. "You can back off. You might think you're high and mighty but one of these days someone's going to knock you off your high horse and leave you sprawling in the dirt. I don't care if you are Mad Dog Tannen. You're just another man to me." I said and he glared at me as the rest of the townsfolk whispered a little He went to say something but was cut off by the sheriff.

He got on his horse and took off before Marty walked over to us. We caught up briefly and he told us about how he found the tombstone for Doc. "How do we get enough power to get out of here?" I asked and Doc ran a hand through his hair. "There's a train that'll be here Monday morning." he said and I glanced to Marty and shrugged. "What about it?" I asked. "Well we won't have gasoline for a while, so we can use the engine to get up to 88 miles an hour. But it's a coal train so it may be tricky." he said and we nodded before we got to work.

After we got everything we needed we were getting ready to head out to the tracks where we would high jack the train. But before we could go I had to get something that I left in the workshop. I went back to get it and sighed gently as I looked it over. I heard the door slide open to the workshop and I smiled a little. "I'm coming. Just give me a second" I said as I turned around but stopped as I saw Tannen. He grabbed me and put me on the table as he held me there. "I'll teach you to make a fool out of me." he said

Doc's POV

I was getting anxious. (y/n) was taking longer than I would have liked. It shouldn't have taken this long for her to get to the shop and back. I looked over to Marty as he shrugged. "I'm going to see what's taking so long." I said before I rode my horse towards the workshop. I got off the saddle before I walked up to the door. "Hey dear, is everything alri-" I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw Tannen with her. Trying to do what I couldn't imagine. I felt my blood boil as I walked up to him. Both my jaw and my fists clenched.

I tapped on his shoulder and he turned around before I reeled back and swung. He spun around and hit the ground as I shook my hand. I looked at (y/n) as I saw tears well up in her eyes. I quickly pulled her closer to me as I hugged her tightly. "Shhh, baby girl. I'm here" I said as I comforted her.

She buried her face in my chest as I held her close to me until she calmed down. She looked up at me as she sniffed a little. I wiped her tears away before I kissed her forehead. "Let's get out of here before he wakes up." I said and she nodded quickly as I helped her off the table and got back to my horse. We rode back to where Marty was and got ready to get the train. She was quiet as she sat behind me, her arms wrapped around my waist as she was still shaking a little.

I put my hand on hers as they were in front of me. She squeezed me a little before I saw the train go by. I got up to the horse as Marty followed us. We got onto the train and I pulled her to me as we stood on the car. I took my hat off and put it on her head as I smiled at her. She gave me a soft smile before we made our way up to the front of the train as we found the conductor. We were able to high jack the train and got it ready to get up to 88 as we dropped the cars that we didn't need and caught up with the DeLorean as it was on the tracks waiting.

Marty and (y/n) got into the DeLorean as I was getting the fuel into the furnace. The train started to speed up little by little with each fuel pack. The smoke had changed colors with each one. From green to yellow to red. I threw the last one in and went to get into the DeLorean with Marty and (y/n) as we got up to 88 and jumped through time.

After I dropped off Marty I drove (y/n) home before I looked at her. She was looking at her lap before I put my hand on hers. She looked up at me as she was still wearing my hat. I smiled a little. "Are you going to be okay?" I asked and she looked down a little. "I don't know, Emmett. That isn't something you can prepare yourself for. I'm just happy you showed up when you did" she said and I sighed a little before I held her hand.

She looked up to me and I smiled sadly. "Don't think about what could have been. Think about how you are now. You can't dwell in the past because that'll make you lose sight of the near future. I hate seeing you like this. I want the girl that I met back. You know, the one that lights up a room when she smiles? The one that makes me smile when I look at her." I said and she blushed a little before she started to smile. "There she is." I said and she pulled me into a tight hug.

"I never noticed it until now." she said and I hummed. "Noticed what?" I asked. "That you're probably one of my closest friends. I love you, Doc" She said and I held her tighter. "I love you too, sweetie." I said and she pulled away before he looked at me. She kissed my cheek gently before she got out and went inside. I rubbed my cheek as I smiled for a second. I pulled away from the house and went back to my house. She still had my hat.
