Staying (Biff X Reader) (3)

It's 2 in the morning and here I am writing this because I can't sleep, but wait there's more- I work in about 7 hours.

Thank you to HaedynGraham for helping with this idea, it isn't the exact one we talked about, but I hope you like it anyway.

Your POV

"Biff honey, did you grab that medicine from CVS on your way home from the shop for Oliver today?"

Calling from the kitchen, my husband being in his chair in the living room. Paper in his hand while the tv played the news. Turning from the sink and drying my hands with a hand towel, standing in the door way to see if he was listening.

Watching for a moment to see how long it would take for him to notice me looking at him. His blue eyes flicked from the page to me leaning in the arch way that joined the kitchen and the living room. Smiling at me as he folded the paper up and putting it on the coffee table in front of him.

"Did you ask me something, love?"

Smiling while stepping towards the tablet man, his blonde hair staying to turn grey as we were both in our late 40s. We've been married for about 20 years or so, waiting a bit after high school to make sure we were both ready and had enough money to start our lives as soon as we could.

Standing in front of him with my arms crossed, the hand towel in my hands still while i peered down at him.

"I asked you if you got the medicine from CVS on your way home for Oli."

"Damnit. I knew I forgot something. I'll go out and hopefully get since before they close."

Seeing him stand and watching him tower over me as he always did. His hands found their way to my waist while he planted a kiss on my forehead. Looking at him before sighing gently.

"Be careful while you're gone. I'll be here with the boys."

He gave a nod and smiled before he leaned down and have a few quick yet sensual kisses. Feeling his warm touch pull away I sighed gently before watching him grab his keys and his jacket and going out the door after a quick 'I'll see you in ten minutes'.

Turning to see the boy in question come into the living room. He was in his pajamas, a blanket and his favorite stuffed toy which happened to be a dinosaur in his arms.

"Hey buddy, are you feeling any better?"

Putting the towel down and kneeling to get a look at him a bit better, he sniffled before shaking his head. His face was still rosey, his eyes were glossed over too.

Scooping him up and holding him to me before sitting on the couch with him. Letting him lay on me while we waited for Biff to be home. Petting his hair while I listened to them occasional cough from him while using my free hand to rub his back.

The door opened before I knew it. Turning to see Biff walk into the door, he saw the two of us and smiled a little. Walking over and kneeling down for a moment. Poking his son's noise to get his attention Oliver beamed at his Dad.

"Hi daddy."

His voice was low as his throat was hoarse. He's been coughing a lot and having trouble sleeping through the night lately, so I don't blame him.

"Hey buddy, I got your medicine do you wanna take some and try and sleep?"

Oliver nodded at his dad before he lifted his arms to be kicked up. Biff made the usual groan as he did while picking him up.

"Jeez buddy, what has Mommy been feeding you while I'm at work, rocks?"

Hearing the faint giggle as I got up and followed the two his room. Biff put him on his bed and opened the bottle while I felt for a fever. After his medicine was taken and he was into bed. His trusty dinosaur with him under the covers to keep the germs away, Oliver smiled at his father.

"Do the thing."

Looking to Biff as he glanced at me before he knelt down and made an overly dramatic angry face at the boy. Watching the smile come back after it had been gone for most of the day as he looked at his dad.

"All right germs, I've told you before, leave Oliver alone, make like a tree and get out of here."

He pointed for a moment as Oliver gave the best laugh he could muster.

"No daddy, you said it wrong."

"Oh yeah? How's it supposed to go?"

"It's supposed to be, make like a tree and leaf."

Putting on his best surprised face Biff turned to look at me while I smiled. Turning back to the 11 year old and smiled.

"Ah, I forgot. I'll get it right next time, if not you can set me straight."

Oliver nodded before biff tucked him in and I did the same, giving him a kiss before following Biff out to the hallway. Turning the light of and making sure the night light was on and leaving the door cracked a little for the hall light to get in a bit.

Sighing gently and looking at Biff before he put his hand on my lower back. This version of biff was different than the original. This one had his own car repair shop, started in shape, was a great dad and generally happier. Seeing him with our boys made me fall for him all over again.

"Has Elliott had any symptoms?"

"No, I think he's been staying in his room as usual."

Biff poked his head into our older son's room. Elliott was about 16, seeing him playing on the Nintendo before he saw us in the doorway.

"Keep it down, Oliver is trying to sleep."

Giving a nod before we left the room, we headed to the living room. Before we could sit there was a knock at the door. Opening it as Biff sat back down in his chair.

"Marty?"

"(Y/n)? I'm glad I found you."

"It's been a while, come in come in, we have a lot to catch up on "

Ushering the teen inside. Biff put the paper down again as be smiled. Seeing the teen made my heart flutter as it's felt like a lifetime since we've seen each other.

"I had to find where you guys were in the library, after I got back here and talked to my parents, they told me they haven't heard much from Biff since the night of the dance."

"It's because I had that beautiful girl to focus on."

Hearing my husband say that I bit my lip a bit and giggled.

"Biff honey, quit it."

Marty looked between the two of us for a second.

"So you two are married? What else happened while I haven't seen you?"

"Well, we have two boys. Elliott and Oliver. Elliott is about a year younger than you and Oliver is 11."

He looked at me after I finished my sentence.

"You have kids?"

Nodding as he leaned back in the couch.

"This is heavy. Why haven't you come to find me sooner?"

"We were planning to, but we thought that if you met Doc as you originally did, then you'd find me eventually. Especially with how you shouldn't have changed after you jumped, you would probably gain a few memories, but nothing drastic."

Putting his hand in his hair he processed the new information. Getting up and grabbing something from a drawer, it was a scrapbook.

"I wanted to document everything after you left, that way when we caught up it would be easier to show you as we told you."

He nodded as I gave him the scrapbook. Seeing the various pictures of us at prom the next year, then the engagement and wedding after that. The buying of the house and the birth of the boys. I had stayed in touch with Lorraine for as long as I could, but life got busy so we haven't talked much nowadays.

"It's crazy to think of you as a Tannen. You should come by and catch Doc up one of these days maybe bring the boys. Oliver might like to meet Jules and Verne."

"Jules and Verne?" I asked ad I looked at him

"You weren't there for that trip, but doc got sent to 1885 after you stayed at the dance. And met his wife Clara there. I had to go back to save his life and after I got back, the DeLorean got destroyed and he showed up in a time train with Clara, Einie and the two boys."

"Doc being married? Is she a scientist too?"

He nodded as he looked at me. "She's an astrologist mostly, but she does teach some other sciences."

"That's pretty cool, we'll have to catch up soon. For now though I'm sure your parents want you home before it's too late. You can come by whenever you want, here's our landline number so your Mom can call whenever she wants. I've missed you McFly. Don't be a stranger."

Biff and I got up as we walked him to the door. Hugging Marty for a moment before letting him go. Fixing his hair a little before seeing Biff pay his shoulder before messing it up again.

"Tannen, really?"

Biff have a laugh before kissing my check. Waving at Marty as he drove away after a few minutes. Closing and locking the door I sighed gently.

"I can't believe it's been 30 years since I've seen him."

"You're still as beautiful as the day we met."

Grabbing his hand and pulling him into a kiss. He smiled and returned it before pulling away for a moment.

"We should get some sleep, it's getting late."

Nodding gently before following him towards the room, turning off the lights and making sure things are off in the process. Crawling into bed and cuddling up to my husband before sighing gently.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

~

It's finished, there's part 3. It went into a bit of a different direction than was originally planned, bit I hope you liked it anyway. I thought maybe an angle of biff being a different person and family man would be a bit better, show the change the reader has in him sort of thing.
