Detention! (Violet VanDoren X Biff Tannen)

Thank you to @Liz_Steddmann54for allowing me to not only use her OC for this part, but adding my own OC to it, and for requesting the idea! I hope I do Violet justice, and you like it!

Violet's POV

Leaning against the tiled wall of the bathroom, puffing on a lit cigarette it was a very slow and boring day as usual at the Hill Valley High School. I was torn from my thoughts after a few minutes of standing there, flicking my eyes up to see a random bitchy girl putting on her best disgusted face she could. Here we go.

"What are you doing?"

I rose a brow as I leaned my jaw on my hand. "Smoking? What's it look like?"

She frowned and her friends rose their painted on eyebrows. "Obviously, I can see that much!"

"Then why did you ask, if it's that obvious?" this could only end one way.

The girl rolled her eyes at me. "How about you stop doing such a revolting habit? Especially on school grounds?"

Ah there it is! Standing up straight, flicking some ash towards her feet. Her and her cronies jumped back, making a high pitched noise. "What are you going to do about it?" I released another slow breath of smoke towards them, they did their best to avoid it, only for it to stick to their hair and clothes, lingering for a few seconds.

They did their best to get it out of their clothes, knowing their parents would probably kick their asses for it when they got home. Not my problem. "You're so dead!" Looking up at them to see the main ring leader, the one who came in here and butted into my business, tried to slap me. Stepping to the side, putting my cigarette back into my mouth before pushing her into the wall behind me, her friends stood up and came at me.

The smaller one got closer to me first, I pushed her into the other, watching them both his the floor before crying in over dramatic pain. Turning to the first one, releasing a bit of smoke from my cigarette while I kept it lit. She looked between me and her friends, seeing them both slowly picking themselves up.

She tried to be quick to bail, keyword being tried as she went to run around the corner of the bathroom, since there wasn't a door for it. She got around the corner as I followed her, only for her to be a bit too slow, raising my foot, I planted it into her ass, leaving a perfect dust mark of the bottom of my sole on her skirt. She hit the floor.

Standing over her for a moment as I reached to remove the cigarette from my mouth to speak. "How about next time you mind your own business about things that don't concern you?" She looked up to me, her eyes teary as she frowned. She had been bested.

"Miss VanDoren! What do you think you're doing?"

Rolling my eyes as I heard the voice. Here comes Strickland. "What's it look like I'm doing?" Glaring at the bald man as he got closer to me, this eyes narrowed at me, as he spotted the girl on the floor behind me and the cigarette in my mouth.

"Has no one told you that fighting, isn't allowed? Neither is smoking!"

"I'll make sure to fight nosey people and smoke at the same time, as quietly as possible." My eyes stared back into his as I smirked gently. "Sir." This day was a little less boring than before. There were a few snickers that I heard around the crowd. A crowd had gathered. Strickland and now seen the other three girls, they were trying to make themselves as small as possible to not get in trouble.

My comment already was making his face turn red and the veins bulge in his neck and forehead. Though the baldness made it hard to tell where his scalp began and his forehead ended. Smiling at my thought he looked at me. Getting even redder, if that was possible.

"All of you get 2 weeks detention, for fighting and smoking on campus!" He reached up and grabbed the cigarette, plucking it from my lips as I frowned. Throwing it on the floor and stepping on it, crushing the tiny stick into the tile floor. He went over to the other three and started yelling at them.

Crossing my arms I glanced around the crowd. My eyes stopped and flicked up to a kid that I quickly knew to me Biff Tannen, the school bully. His blue eyes caught my green ones as he looked at me, his mouth hanging open, he was practically drooling as he looked at me. That's one way to catch your crush's attention.

He smirked at me for a moment before I winked at him. His eyes widened as he jumped a little at my response, I watched as he tried to hide his face as a pink dusting showed up. The bell rang for class and he started walking down the hall to his class, his own goons following on his heels as he shoved one around for saying something to him.

Grabbing my stuff from the bathroom after a deep sigh, glancing at my crushed cigarette. Walking to class and getting into another almost identical classroom with other equally bored students, sitting and getting out some paperwork and books.

-Time Skip-

Opening the door to the detention hall, my eyes scanned the room for an empty spot, this was the first day of the next 13 of my sentence. I was beyond ready for it to be over with. Spotting a brunette with glasses hiding behind a book, deciding I would sit with her since she had quite the harmless appearance, probably not notice me next to her in the slightest.

Sitting next to her quietly, I watched as she turned to me, the book laying on the table for a second. There goes that plan. Stretching my lips into a small and awkward smile the best I could, she smiled back.

"You're Violet right? The girl that kicked Rebecca, Skylar, and Heather's asses this morning in the bathroom?"

She heard already? Damn that was quick. Nodding gently I leaned back in my chair, wanting a smoke already. "Yeah that was me. I take it they're a bit of a nuisance around here?"

"Nuisance doesn't even begin to cover it," she giggled a little as she closed her book. "They're more Neanderthals than anything. Classic mean girls thinking they own the halls because their Mommy's and Daddy's come from money. They got what they deserved today though."

Chuckling gently as I heard her speak, this is probably one of the more down to Earth girls I've met here. "The name's Anne by the way, Anne Perry." Turning to see her pale hand was stretched out to me. Wrapping my equally pale hand around hers as I shook it. "Nice to meet you, we both know what I'm in for, what are you in for?"

Her eyes squinted gently as a smile grew while she reminisced about what she did earlier that day to ward a detention sentence. "I may, or may not, have corrected the science teacher on his terrible equation solution he did today. Mr. Krieger didn't appreciate me correcting him."

She shrugged as she looked at me again. "Correcting a teacher? Damn girl, you're crazy!" She laughed as she put a hand on her heart in fake hurt.

"You think I'M crazy? You went after 3 girls today and won, with a cigarette in your mouth. I heard you were from Texas but geez, remind me not to piss you off." Laughing and nodding at her response we were quickly quieted as none other than Strickland came into the room to yell at us about being loud, since detention was for discipline and not socializing.

Rolling my eyes at him for a moment I leaned my head on the back of my chair, a nap really sounded like a good idea right about now, especially after today. Strickland left a bit after that and I heard the door open again, a few people speaking up.

"Get out of my seat! Move it before I move it for you."

Opening one of my eyes, I saw it was Biff. Sitting up straight, I watched as Anne put her book down again and glance between the two of us, a smirk playing on her face as she caught on. She leaned over to me, while I tried to ignore her gaze.

"Violeeet, do you have a thing for Tannen?" she whispered as I glanced over to the taller boy. Looking at him for a bit too long as his eyes flicked to me, he stopped for a moment as our eyes locked together. My ears warmed up a little and I looked away, hiding behind my hand. Anne smiled at me as she leaned down a bit more to whisper easier.

"You do, you know I saw him in the crowd after the fight, I'm pretty sure he's got eyes for you, he didn't even look twice at Lorraine today when he walked by her in the hall."

Furrowing my brows as the name caught my attention. "Who's Lorraine?" Anne hummed for a second before she closed her book again, adding a bookmark into it before hand. "Lorraine Baines, she's the previous love interest for Biff before he saw you kick some ass today. I'm pretty sure she's got a thing for that McFly kid though, so it wouldn't have gone anywhere to begin with. But now with his eyes on you, you should go for it."

Chewing on the inside of my lip. I glanced at the handsome blonde again, he was picking on one of his friends and not paying attention to our conversation. Turning back to Anne, I sighed deeply. "How are you sure?" Her eye brows rose over the frames of her glasses as she looked at me like I was stupid.

"Really? It doesn't take a genius to know that he basically ripped a hole in his pants with the stiffy he got earlier." My face flushed immediately as she said that. Burying my head a little at her bluntness, she did everything she could not to laugh her ass off.

"All I'm saying is give it some time, if he takes too long to make his move, then do it yourself." Pressing my hands against my cheeks as I tried to get them to cool off, being awestruck as I watched her as calm as ever pick her book up again. Was she right?

-Time skip because this is getting way longer than I thought it would and because I said so-

It's been about a week or so, Biff has been in the detention almost every day, Anne only periodically when she gets in trouble for correcting a teacher or doing some experiment on campus and getting caught. I was pretty sure I would have to suffer without my partner in crime today for the second day in a row, before I watched her walk in. She sat down as usual and pulled out her second or third book for the week that she was reading, damn she's quick.

The door opened again, my heart jumped as I heard it, turning to see it was Biff. He put his stuff down on his normal desk, thinking he would sit down as he always did, only for him to walk by it and dismiss his goons as he ignored them. My heart picked up a bit more as he walked towards me. Glancing at Anne to make sure she was seeing the same thing I was she wiggled her eyebrows at me before going back to her book.

Anne's POV

Looking back at my book, and pretending to read, I listened to them talk. Biff had pulled another chair over and sat down on it. The confidence voice and stature of the teen was gone, he was now sheepish and quiet. Flipping the page I was on to make it look like I was reading as I eavesdropped.

"Hey Violet, I wanted to tell you something, it's been bothering me for a little while now. Ever since I saw you kick Rebecca out of the bathroom the other day." He sounded nervous, I could hear it dripping from his words. There was silence from Vi as I rose a brow. Shifting in my seat a little, I kicked her foot from under the table to get her attention.

"What's up?" her voice was almost forced, I could feel her eyes on the side of my head, burning a hole through it as she glared at me, I ignored it. She'll thank me later I'm sure.

"I, uh, wanted to know if you would go out with me? I thought you were pretty badass the other day when you kicked those girls' asses. I know we haven't talked much to begin with, but do you want to go to the dance with me on Saturday?"

I told you Violet he liked you back, but don't listen to me.

"That sounds fun, you can get me at 8." she said.

He nodded and smiled before he went back to his friends. I slowly put my book down and turned to look at Vi. She looked dazed at me as I smirked at her. "You gonna make it over there?"

She blinked before the realization hit her, smirking wide as she looked at me. "I can't believe that just happened." Her face was flushed as she tried to hide a little. I knew she had it bad, now she gets to go on a date.

"When you two get married can I be your maid of honor?" I asked, resulting in her turning redder and smacking my arm. "Shut up!" she whispered at me.

"Whatever you say future Mrs. Tannen." holding my hands up in defense as I went back to my book, this time actually reading it as I tried to ignore the flaming ball of Violet VanDoren that was next to me.
