I sighed as I walked along the sidewalk in Hill Valley. I had gotten into a fight with a couple of friends. Ones that I was sure weren't my friends any more. I shook my head as I thought about what went down.

"I just don't see why you have to like your books so much" said one. Vikki was her name and being a bitch was always her game. "I don't see why you have to be such a bitch" I said and she gasped dramatically. A very close friend of hers stepped in after that. Amanda. They had always been really close and never really counted me in anything.

I knew that they probably hated me but being the idiot I could tend to be, stuck around and tried to be their friend. "Don't talk to her like that! After all we did for you" she said and crossed her arms. Ah, yes. The classic white girl arm cross. The defense was often paired with the eye roll of doom. If they did it enough one would think they're eyes would roll out of their heads.

I looked at the two girls that were in my room. "Why should it matter to you what I do and don't read? It's not like you've actually been my friends in the first place" I said and they looked at each other. Did I mention that it's the 80s and this whole mean girl thing is something that happens a lot?

I looked at them before they smirked. "We tried to let you into our circle. We had hoped that you would have tried harder to try and fit in with us" Amanda said. I looked at the two and rose a brow. "A plan that utterly backfired on you two since I don't really care about who I surround myself with. School is better if you spend your time with your studies instead of flaunting over boys and who has the most expensive make up. I can't stand girls like you, so shallow" I said and they did that white girl scoff. The one that they would throw at you when they had nothing better to say back at you. It's how you knew you won that argument

I leaned against my bedpost and hummed. "With that said, you two should get your powdery asses out of my house" I said and they rolled their eyes before they left. I sat down on my bed as I looked at the makeup that they had tried to get me to wear. I took it all and threw it into the trash before I left my house.

Now we're all caught up. I walked along the street before I heard barking and a couple yells. I turned to see that a dog was running st me before he jumped up and put his dirty paws on my jeans. I bent down and ruffled his fur as I grabbed his collar "Einstein huh?" I asked and he barked before he licked my face.

"Well aren't you cute?" I said and he wagged his tail. "Nice to meet you too, now let's get you home. I'm sure your owner is worried about his little scientist" I said and he trotted along with me as I walked to the address that was on his collar. We stood in the driveway in front of the rustic little house.

I looked around before he barked and the doors opened in the garage. I watched as a tall gentleman stepped out with a rather odd pair of goggles on his face. He lifted them up as he looked at the dog. "Einey! Here boy" he said and Einstein ran off to him. He knelt down and rubbed his ears before the dog walked back over to me. I rose a brow as I heard another voice "Doc! Did Einey come back yet?" A kid about my age stepped out from behind a wall as he looked at the taller man.

I knew the kid from school. He's often getting in trouble since Strickland doesn't like him. Hell I don't think he liked any of the McFlys. He looked at me before he saw Einey. "Hey! Did you bring back Einstein?" He asked and I gave a simple nod as I looked st the dog who wagged his tail st me.

"After he nearly ran me over, I figured, what the hell?" I said and he smiled a little. I looked at the two boys. "I should be getting home, make sure you keep an eye on him. A dog as friendly as him could have catastrophic consequences if the wrong person finds him" I said he nodded before I walked off only to hear paws follow me.

"Einstein. You can't go home with me" I said and he whined a little before he sat on the ground next to me. "A friend of Einey's is a friend of ours" said the taller man. I smiled a little before I went inside with the two. I sat on the garage floor with Einey as he was on my lap.

He wouldn't walk more than a couple feet from me and if I tried to leave he would follow. "I've had Einstein for quite a while and even though he is a clever dog. I've never known him to act like this, especially to a complete stranger" doc said and I looked up st him. "Generally dogs can tell when something is wrong. I think they're noses can sniff out anything. I wasn't having the greatest evening before Einstein found me." I shrugged a little

Doc nodded as he looked at me "You're welcome to stay as long as you like. Feel free to pop in whenever too. I'm sure Einstein would be glad" he said and I smiled as I looked down at the dog. I smiled as I rubbed his belly. I looked back up to doc and nodded. "I would like that"
