Chapter Eleven Revenge
I stuck my head out just until I could see everything I needed to. Levi and Anthony were just walking out their dorm room, laughing at whatever Levi had said. As soon as they locked their door and started turning in my direction, I jerked my head back.
I gestured from Cassidy to moved farther down.
"They're coming." I whispered and she nodded. We hid behind on of the big lounge couch they had on their floor as they walked passed us, smiling.
"Nigga, I won." Anthony said.
That was all I heard before they skipped down the stairs. I peered over the couch and they were out of sight. I stood up, slowly.
"Come on. They're gone." I told her.
Cassidy got up from the floor and we walked quickly to their room. I grabbed the spare key I stole from Hailey from my jacket and opened the door.
"We have to be quick." Cassidy informed me. "They'll be back soon."
I nodded once. "This shouldn't take long. Go handle Anthony and I'll take care of Levi."
"Alright. Here." She handed over the supplies I needed before dashing over to Anthony's side of the room.
I walked over to their bathroom (Which by the way, wasn't fair. Why did they get their own bathroom and we had to shared with everyone else?) and turned on the light. I opened the shower curtain and picked up Levi's shampoo. I smiled, evilly, as I opened it.
I added a couple or so drop of pink dye into it before shaking it up really good.
Levi really cared for hair. He called it his precious. He was really picky about who can touch it. I wasn't lying when I said, it took two months before Hailey was allowed to touch his hair and they were dating.
I moved on to his condition.
Revenge is sweet. I thought as I poured the melted chocolate into the bottle. Have fun getting this out.
I was placing the bottle down when Cassidy emerged from the other room.
"Are you done?"
"Just finished." I told her, closing the curtain. I turned the light off and I glanced at what Cassidy did.
I smirked. "He's gonna hate us."
Anthony loved his shoes. He loved them so much he probably would marry them, if he could. Cassidy left a big handprint on his brand new Jordan's, she smeared lipstick on his KD's and wrote I don't kiss and tell with a kiss print.
"Hopefully he doesn't see them before Levi takes a shower."
"Trust me he won't. Levi always takes a shower before his date with Hailey." I assured her. "Which reminds me..." I glanced down at my watch. "we better go."
She nodded and placed all the shoes back where they were. We left the room and quickly exited the building.
We hopped into the car and drove to our building, laughing.
"They're gonna kill us." Cassidy said, smiling.
"Hell yeah they are."
She was quiet from a moment then she asked something I never thought of before.
"How are we gonna do Jayce? I mean by the time we could do his, Levi and Anthony would found our revenge."
"You know what? I don't know." I shrugged. "I guess we'll sneak back over there when it's super dark."
That's if he was planning to stay in his room tonight. Yesterday Arianna and Jayce got into a heated argument and usually when Jayce's girls got mad he would "sweet talk" them and they would have "bed rocking, crazy, wild make up sex." His words, not mine.
"Yeah we could do that." Cassidy agreed, nodding her head.
She parked the car and got out. I follow behind her. It was around 7:15 and I estimated that in about thirty minutes Levi would call me then Anthony would find his precious shoes after that maybe a revenge war would break out.
I sat on my bed and decided, for now, I would do my assignments. Cassidy played her favorite playlist as she painted her toes red.
Just as I predicted, Levi called me and I smiled. I answered it.
"Hello?"
"What the hell, Cole!" He fumed. "My hair is pink!"
I held back a laughter. "Oh really?"
"Don't play dumb with me. I have a date with Hailey in fifteen minutes. I'm gonna kill you."
I rolled my eyes. "Stop being so dramatic. The dye will wash out before Saturday."
"It better. I can't have pink hair for the game."
In the background I heard Anthony.
"Bro, she got you back." Then there was pause. "Did she get back?"
I grinned.
Three....
Two....
One...
"Hell no! She messed my shoes up!" He shouted. "Cole I thought you said we were cool! What the hell man?"
"Paybay's a bitch, huh?" Cassidy told them.
"It's karma's a bitch, dumbass." Levi corrected her.
Before they could argue, I interfered. "Okay
.. well have fun on your date. Bye!" I hung up.
"Now I really don't regret making his hair pink." Cass said, closing the nail polish. "Like how is he gonna call me a......"
I tuned her out. She was most likely going to ramble on for awhile and I really didn't have it in me to listen to her. I saw her lips move but I made out no words.
"Are you even listening to me?"
At first I thought she was still going on with her blabbing so I continued to work on my assignment.
"Hellooo?"
I glanced up and Cassidy was looking at me in disbelief.
"Sorry. What?"
She rolled her eyes. "Nothing."
She went back to painting her nails but instead of red she chose black. I onced asked her why she chose to paint her hands all black and she responded with "it matches the inside of me".
Back in the eight grade, Cassidy with goth for awhile until she realized it wasn't her style anymore. I was happy that she finally wore bright colors once again. She kinda scared with all the dark colors and music she used to listen to.
It got closer to the time we needed to leave so we got ready. I grabbed my bag and started putting all our supplies in it.
"Ready?" I asked, looking over my shoulder.
"Yep. Let's go."
I put my bag on and we left the room. It was super late so everyone was either still out partying or asleep. We walked into the elevator and once it got to the main floor, we walked outside.
Cassidy started heading to her car when I stopped her.
"Nuh uh, we're not taking the car. We're walking."
She scoffed. "That's a long walk."
She had a point it was a very long walk but I thought we could handle it.
"Come on."
She groaned but followed me anyway. I had to deal with her muttering and mumbling for a good ten minutes until we finally reached the building.
I scanned the parking lot and grinned when I saw his truck. So he didn't stay out late. That was a surprise. Jayce usually partied the whole night away especially on a Friday.
"Let's get this over it." Cassidy said, coming up behind me, shaking the spray can.
She went to one side of the truck and I went on the other side. I pulled out my spray can and began working.
It took me about five minutes to finish but I was pretty proud of what I accomplished.
Jayce told me he hated Arianna's song so I figure I meant as well write some of the lyrics on it.
Our song is a slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
I walked over to Cassidy's side and she was just finishing. She stepped back and admired her work.
I rose an eyebrow at what she wrote.
Revenge is a dish best served cold with a smiley face.
"I like that." I told her. "But what about the front?"
She smiled. "I got that."
She walked to the front and hopped onto the hood. She sprayed the whole left side and made a square on the right, right where the driver sat. Above it she wrote LOSER!.
She jumped off. "I was gonna put another name but I figured I probably shouldn't."
I could only guess what other name she was thinking of.
"Is this stuff permanent?" I asked, holding up the spray can.
She shrugged. "Kinda."
My eyes widen. "Kinda?"
She rose her hand and and shook it slightly from side to side. "There's a fifty-fifty chance I might have grabbed the wrong can. But..." She added when she saw I was about to say something. "in my defense, you were rushing me."
I wanted to say something but I heard voices in the near distant.
"We've gotta go." I grabbed my bag and we took off running in the dark.

A loud bang on the door woke me from my peaceful slumber. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. It was barely 6:20. I put my phone down and laid back on my pillow, willing sleep to come back to me.
Two more loud bangs came and I sat upward and Casssidy slowly got up, rubbing her eye.
"Who the hell is that?" She asked, groggily.
I shrugged. "Dunno." I muttered, getting out the bed.
Sleep still invaded my body and I swung the door open, lazily.
"What?"I asked my voice laced with sleep.
I met with angry dark blue eyes. "You think you're so funny, huh?"
I rubbed my eyes. "What are you talking about?"
"Are you fucking kidding me right now?"
I dropped my arms and looked at him. He was super pissed off. Why? I haven't did anything to him. At least I didn't think I did.
"It's too early for this this." I told him. "So just tell me already. What did I do?"
He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes. "My truck. You fucked up my truck."
It took my a moment to process what he just said but when I did, my eyes widen. How did I forget about my payback? I glanced back at Cassidy and she was motioning for me to close to the door.
Jayce noticed it and right before I could shut the door, he pressed his hand against it.
Rolling my eyes, I backed away from the door. There was no way I could overpower him. I was going to lose to him.
He walked inside and I sat on my bed, waiting for him to start yelling or something.
"I knew you would do something like this." He began. "I had a gut feeling but of course I ignored it and look where it got me? Why couldn't you do something that wouldn't cost as much damaged? I mean, seriously, we scared you but you retaliate with pink hair, ruined shoes and a fucked up truck."
Cassidy frowned. "Okay I understand the pink hair and shoes but I don't understand the fucked up truck."
I shook my head. "Me either. You should be able to wash the words off without any problems."
"I thought the same thing when I saw it. But when I tried to take it off, it peeled off the paint. There's a million scratches on it and oh! Let's not forget the huge ass dent on the hood."
"I thought you said it wasn't permanent!" I exclaimed.
"No. I said there was a fifty-fifty chance it was not permanent." Cassidy corrected me.
"Oh wow, thanks for clearing that up." I said, sarcastically.
"Like I said before, you shouldn't have rushed me."
"Anyway," Jayce said. "Don't be surprise if you have a bill mailed to you."
"I'm not paying for shit." Cassidy told him. "It wasn't my idea."
I glared at her. She was not leaving me with the bill. Lord, knows, it would be expensive. By the way, she was on who left the "huge ass dent" on his truck.
"You helped." I pointed out. "So yeah you're paying for half of it."
"If I pay for it, you're gonna regret it." Cassidy warned me.
"Look I don't care who pays for it as long as it get pays."
I rolled my eyes. "We said we were gonna pay for it so you can leave now."
"Not quite yet." He said.
"What do you want now?" Cassidy asked.
He grinned. "Your car."

It wasn't exactly how I imagine my revenge to go. I thought I was getting even but instead it backfired on me.
Levi's hair didn't go back to normal until after the game and he was pissed at me and so was Mom. She lectured me. She said I was doing a very good job but I ruined it when I pranked Levi. She was gonna give me a car. My own car! But that flew out the window when she found out about the pranks.
Anthony's shoes were okay. Cassidy didn't ruin them so he wasn't mad at us for very long. He said we're even now and that was that. He moved on.
Jayce, on the other hand, was still angry at us. Well, mainly, me. His truck was still in the shop until we made the final payment. So until we do, he was using Cassidy's car. Cassidy wasn't too happy about it but there wasn't much she could do. If she didn't let him use her car, then her parents would find out about Jayce's truck and that wouldn't go too well.
The only good thing about it was Jayce at least had a heart. He didn't leave us totally stranded and respected Cassidy's rules. He drops and picks up from work and cheer practice when he could. He had other things to do than being our personally chauffeur. Arianna wasn't pleased with the idea that Jayce had to be around us more but what could she do? Nothing.
She glared at me from afar, made snarky remarks and tried to make me jealous as often as she could when we were around Jayce. Which was way more than I wanted her to be.
I checked my phone and he was late. We got off half an hour ago. It was really late and I was tired and so was Cassidy.
"Where is he?" I muttered, as tapped my foot against the pavement.
"I don't know but he better not be fucking in my car." Cassidy responded.
"Call him again."
She held up her phone. "My phone is died. Why don't you call him?"
"Because he won't answer my phone calls or respond back to my texts."
"That's doesn't sound like him."
"You're right." I agreed. "It sounds like....Arianna." We said simultaneously.
"She's such a bitch." Cassidy said. "How much do you wanna bet that she's in the car with Jayce?"
"All my money." I told her, immediately.
Ten minutes passed by before a silver Honda Civic pulled into the parking lot. It stopped in front of us and guess what? Arianna was sitting in the passenger seat.
I glanced at Cassidy. "I guess we would've won a lot of money, huh?"
She nodded as she stood up and we hopped into the backseat. I sat behind Jayce and Cassidy was behind Arianna.
"What took you so long?" Cassidy asked, curiously.
It was meant for Jayce but of course his girlfriend had to open her big fat mouth.
"None of your damn business." She snapped, turning around in her seat.
It took about two seconds to process the anger in Cassidy's eyes and her hands moving closer to the door handle.
Before I could do anything, Cassidy swung the car door open and flung Arianna's door open. If Cassidy wasn't my best friend, I would be scared of her. Pretty much like Arianna was right now.
"Bitch." Cassidy fumed. "Do you know I can end your life in 2.5 seconds?"
She had her fingers in Arianna's face as she went off her on. Arianna leaned back as Cassidy got closer to her.
Finally when I started thinking straight, I hopped out the car and pulled Cassidy back.
"Get in the car." I told her. "Calm down."
She gave Arianna one last deadly glare before listening to me. I was suprise Jayce didn't say anything throughout the whole exchange but I guess he was as shocked as I was. Arianna knew better than saying anything to Cassidy.
For the rest of the car ride, it was silence except for the music playing in the background. When Jayce got to our dorm building, Cassidy finally spoke.
"Jayce. You better keep your little girlfriend in her lane before I fuck her up."
He didn't respond back and Arianna looked straight ahead, refusing to look anywhere else.
I climbed out the car and followed Cassidy to our room. I never seen Cassidy so worked up before. It took a lot to make her angry and Arianna finally reached Cassidy's breaking point. As much as I wanted Cassidy to hit her, I knew that wouldn't end too well for her. She most likely would have charges pressed against her and be kicked off the cheer squad.
"Was I talking to her? Like seriously I don't talk to you so why are you talking to me." Cassidy said. "I swear Cole if you haven't pulled me away, I would be in jail right now."
Her leg bounced up and down in a fast rhythm. "And I hope she knows, she's no longer welcome back in my car."
"I think she does but just to be on the safe side you probably should tell Jayce that." I advised her.
I couldn't wait until we finally pay Jayce's truck off because this wasn't what we needed right now.
Like I said before, this revenge backfired on me.
