when we were children

we dreamed of magical worlds

with fairies and elves

in gardens filled with pansies

I wish I could go back there

- The pansy symbolizes thoughts and thoughtful recollection, as well as fairies, elves and magical realms.  It is also believed to be a good luck gift.  The pansy comes in a variety of colors, including yellow, gold, purple, red, violet and even near black (a very dark purple).  They also have a variety of different names, such as "football flowers" (U.S.), the "stepmother" (Scandinavia, Scotland and German-speaking countries), flammona (Italy) and "Amnon" and "Tamar" (Israel).
