I didn't tell him why I cried,
Last night, when we were
Watching the night sky.
One was because the sky seemed dark,
The dark didn't acknowledge the stars,
The stars were buried inside the clouds,
The clouds blocked away the moon,
The moon wasn't guided by the sun,
The sun reminded me of all that happened in the day,
In the day, he said he wanted me to stay,
I wanted to stay for him, but then I heard;
I heard that he had somebody waiting on him.
Waiting, by the mahagony tree,
The tree supported their feelings,
The feelings of undying love.
But love like that felt so foreign to me,
Like a foreign land with many,
Many, but without any that I know of,
But I know of hatred and a hurt heart;
Hatred that was directed towards me,
And towards the hurt heart,
The heart shattered to its ends,
And its ends joined back to me.
