At 21, Freya Kent, sister to football luminary Roy Kent, is intimately familiar with the football world, having grown up amid the varied environments of numerous clubs. In a country like England, football is unfortunately an inescapable subject, particularly when your brother is a former Chelsea star player.

Nevertheless, Freya has outgrown the role of a tag-along sibling. With becoming a legal adult, comes the financial strains and university burdens.

Fortunately for her, Rebecca Welton, having watched Freya grow up over the years, extends a job offer, and presently, Freya finds herself as a shadowing journalist for AFC Richmond.

In her role, Freya contends with a CEO seemingly determined to undermine her own club, a situation that spills over into Freya's own life.

Because now, Freya finds herself in an even deeper pit. An overly optimistic cowboy who knows squat about football is the first view she receives as she steps into her work building.

And yeah, she could just quit.
Maybe she should quit.

But with a fortunate reality, every problem has its silver lining. Freya just never thought it'd take the form of a 6 foot 2 Right Midfielder with a charming smile.
