Late at night, Zarkon was in bed, Elara wasn't there yet since she was getting four month old Zanthea to bed in her nursery, but she was done, she came back with a sad face.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"No. I have a splinter and that baby is growing up way too fast." She sniffled, looking as if she wanted to cry.

"Come here let me see." He said.

She sat next to him and gave him her hand, her pointer finger had a staggeringly large splinter.

"Where the hell did you get this from?" He gasped.

"Zanthea's diaper drawer." She sighed.

"We'll be more careful. Just hold still." Zarkon gently ordered.

Elara braced herself for the painful extraction. Zarkon quickly pulled it out getting a gasp from her.

"Thank you." She sighed and smiled a little.

"Your welcome." He said, throwing the splinter into a trash bin.

The cuddle session began in less than a minute.

"Now what do I get in return?" He asked out of the blue.

"Oh shit..." She sighed.

"Please my lovely beautiful angel?" He begged.

"Fine. I'll let you have your way with me." She said.

His dreams practically came true, yeah he married her but they never had time to themselves because they have three kids and a planet to rule so neither of them got any sleep at all that night.
