Lonely souls or lucky souls?
Trigel and Gyrgan sat there awkwardly staring at the married duos laughing with their significant others. Blaytz married that servant from Daibazaal named Gnedra, Zarkon had Elara, and Alfor had Melenor. They are visiting the galaxy garrison together and they were waiting on Iverson. After a while Iverson showed up started showing the, what humans do for relaxation, so, as an example he showed them a movie, Rio. Awww.
"Why do they remind of festive Galra shenanigans?" Blaytz blurted out.
Zarkon, Elara, and Gnedra stared at him instantly.
"The audacity..." Elara mumbled.
"What kind of galra are you friends with?" Zarkon hissed.
Gnedra muttered things in galra under her breath.
"Brain cell lacking son of a bitch..." she said angrily.
Zarkon and Elara struggled to contain their laughter for a few seconds before losing it completely and laughing so hard Elara shedded tears.
"What did she say?" Blaytz asked.
"Nothing!" Zarkon and Elara said as they continued laughing on each other.
Gnedra didn't stop there, she kept there. She kept mumbling things in Galra. At this point Blaytz was lost as Zarkon started to wheeze and Elara couldn't keep up with her own tears.
"I don't know what I saw in him. Maybe it was just a charm and look where it's got me. He's practically insulting my culture. Fuck my life. Blue balled buffoon." Gnedra muttered.
"Stop it I can't take it anymore!" Elara cried in Galra.
"This day just gets better and better!" Zarkon snorted.
"What are they saying?! I feel attacked and I don't even understand them!" Blaytz hollered.
"I'm so glad I'm single..." Trigel said.
"So am I." Gyrgan mumbled.
"So no more Rio?" Iverson asked.
"No no no! Play more I like it!" Melenor said.
"She's right it's quite enjoyable." Alfor chimed in.
"Alright well since most of you enjoyed that scene so well here's another." Iverson said, enjoying the drama.
For that scene Blaytz had three pairs of menacing Galran eyes on him. He didn't need to see them staring at him to feel the burn of their gazes.
"Festive... Festive birds." He said nervously.
"Damn right that they're festive birds." Elara muttered.
"Tread lightly." Zarkon said.
"Very lightly." Gnedra hissed.
"You know what I don't think marriage is for me." Trigel said.
"I agree. Given the examples of marriages that we've seen today I'd rather stay alone." Gyrgan said.
It seems as if the married couples in the friend group have displayed some things that illuminated Trigel and Gyrgan's opinions on matrimony. They are not lonely souls, they are lucky souls.
