At an hour old, baby Allegra never left her mother's side. Elara knew that Zarkon had no intention on seeing Allegra so if he got close she'd ignore him, as expected he had a problem with that and confronted her. He abruptly burst their room where Elara and the baby were resting peacefully, well not anymore anyway.

"We need to talk!" He growled.

"About what? You made your bed now lie in your own stupidity!" She growled right back.

"You're my wife and you chose the newborn rat over me?!" He screeched coldly.

"I'd chose the children over you any moment of any day! Don't start with me Zarkon! You know exactly what I can do to you! If you can't accept Allegra start looking for a new wife because you're losing the one you have right now yet again!" She yelled in a fit of fury and rage.

"I suddenly don't care! Start searching for a new husband because you lost me already!" He snapped.

That one hurt her.

"Fine! I was fine before I got with you and I'll be fine without you here at all! Do you think I need you? Newsflash! I don't! Stay the hell away from me and my daughter or I'll end you where you stand! If you reject my baby you reject me too!" She finally snapped on him completely.

"You always were a bitch, do you know that?" He asked.

"Yeah it tends to happen when you're married to a toxic, waste of oxygen." She hissed.

Poor Allegra was wailing at this and Elara simply pulled her closer to chest and rubbed her back.

"Insolent, problematic whore..." Zarkon muttered insulted at Elara under his breathe before he left the room.

Elara started shedding tears as soon as the doors shut. She was hurt. Her heart was shattering. She felt guilty for bringing a child into a life like this, she felt as if she failed her daughter.

"I'm so s-sorry Allegra, you don't deserve this, I don't deserve something as innocent and precious as you,he doesn't either. Mommy's not going to let him hurt you. I promise."
