A few months have passed and things have been good. Delilah turned one, Farah turned three, Helthena turned five, Zanthea turned seven, Bellatrix turned nine, and Koltor is eleven. Sendak and Elara even turned thirty three. Today was Zarkon's thirty fifth birthday, not only that but it was also him and Elara's 13th wedding anniversary. Yes, they got hitched on Zarkon's birthday.

When the couple woke up Zarkon seems to only remember his birthday and Elara was baffled and not very pleased. She pulled it together, not wanting to screw up his birthday because she's a lady of class.

She was talking to her dearest sister in law, Cressida in the lounge room shortly after dinner.

"So what'd he get you for your anniversary? Tell me!" Cressida asked enthusiastically.

"Well... A big heap of nothing. He forgot..." Elara muttered awkwardly and a bit sadly.

"W-What? He forgot?" Cressida gasped.

"Yes, yes he did." Elara huffed in disappointment.

"Oh... Well that's kinda sad. He remembers his birthday but not his wedding anniversary, the day he married Daibazaal's living beauty standard." Cressida said sadly.

"Oh stop the flattery Cressida!" Elara chuckled a bit.

"I have to hype up the queen!" Cressida laughed.

"It's getting late. We should all be heading to bed. Thank you for being yourself Cressida." Elara said with a smile.

"Anything for my dearest sister-in-law!" Cressida dramatically sniffled.

The two ladies laughed a little before going their separate ways. Elara went straight to her bedroom's private restroom to take a nice bath.

Her bath soak lasted about 20 minutes before she got out and to her shock found a brand new wine red nightgown hanging in the wall.

"He didn't forget..."

She went ahead and put on the brand new nightgown who was gifted to her by her lovey-dovey significant other. She was caught by surprise. But it didn't end there.

She got out of the bathroom and found something she hasn't seen in years.

"Surprise my lovely angel!"

"Oh my gods..."

"You're welcome." Zarkon snickered victoriously.

"How? Who? When? Why?" Elara asked, eyes wide as saucers.

"Determination, me, an hour ago, and because I love you." Zarkon answered.

She was speechless. It was the most beautiful thing she's ever seen.

"Well what do you think?" Zarkon asked.

"It's beautiful!" She squealed happily.

"That's not all. Here." Zarkon said, handing her a bowl of her favorite fruits from earth.

Within minutes they were sitting together eating and laughing together.

"You've outdone yourself." She said happily.

"It's what a man does when he's in love. Now what did you get me I know you're full of surprises." Zarkon said, growing a bit excited.

"You're right I am full of surprises. That's why I think you'll really like this one. You say that I'm full of surprises but what if I told you that the surprise needed to be filled first?" She said slyly.

It took him a few seconds to understand what she was hunting at and when he did he froze.

"You. Are. Amazing..." He mumbled.

"Oh I know now are you going to take your gift now or what?" Elara said.

"To bed we go now, best birthday damn ever..."
