The day after Elara left with Allegra, her parents, and of Pandora, the kitten, the group of friends came to visit Daibazaal and saw Zarkon and the children but Elara and Allegra were nowhere to be seen.

"Now Zarkon where's your wife?" Melenor asked.

"Ex..." Zarkon corrected.

They all collectively went pale.

"What the hell do you mean 'ex'?" Trigel asked.

"We got a divorce. We didn't work out anymore." Zarkon said, sounding a little sad.

"What happened!?" Alfor asked.

"Endless arguing. We couldn't even be in the same room together." Zarkon said.

"Oh my gods..." Gyrgan muttered.

"You did it again didn't you?" Melenor asked.

He stayed silent.

"You rejected that baby." Melenor said angrily.

"Worse. He walked out of the room when she was giving birth and then rejecting Allegra." Sendak chimed.

"How could you do that to them?" Alfor asked in disgust.

"You wouldn't understand!" Zarkon snapped.

His own friends ended up leaving the Palace after hearing everything that happened. Didn't get to see Elara or Allegra because they didn't know where she was. She sure as hell wasn't in the palace.

It was sad. Their hearts ached for Elara and the children, for Zarkon... Not so much. However, he was hurting deep down. He saw that empty bedside and asked himself why he pushed her to leave.

Why did he yell at her? Why did he leave her? Why did he neglect her? Why did he abandon her?
