Chaos
"That didn't happy! It did not happen!" Elara said to herself.
"Oh it did." Helgara said.
"Zarkon's gonna kill him!" Elara panicked.
"Then stop him!" Buloc said.
Elara went outside and Zarkon and Thace looked as if they wanted to kill each other. Thank goodness the house she was living wasn't a massive city, It was a quiet estate. She tried pushing Zarkon away from Thace with everything in her.
"Zarkon come on! Let him live!" She pleaded.
"Why are you defending him?! Do you return the feelings?!" Zarkon growled.
"First off, I'm getting used to be divorced so I'm not catching feelings any time soon and if I did why do you care!?" She asked.
"Because you're the mother of my children, I'm supposed to care!" Zarkon hissed.
"Just for that? You'd never be this possessive!" Elara said.
"Maybe because I don't want you with Thace! He has nothing to offer you! He can't take care of you! He's not your type! He isn't good enough for you!" Zarkon raged.
Out of nowhere Thace hurled himself at Zarkon who saw it coming and shielded Elara but at a cost, his left eye and part of the left side of his face was gashed horrendously. Elara realized she was fine and then noticed Zarkon's injury.
"Oh my gods!" She gasped in shock.
She looked at injury and pupped out a small towel which was Allegra's burping towel that Elara just washed today and was about put over his bleeding scar but Zarkon backed away a little.
"Let me help you." Elara said.
He moved a little closer and let her help him.
"Sendak get him under control. I need to handle this." Elara said.
She chose to handle the situation like the adult she is and not be petty. She took Zarkon to her bathroom and started to handle the bleeding.
"I'm sorry but this is going to sting a lot." She said, cringing before cleaning the wound to prevent an infection. He hissed in pain at the stinging sensation.
"Why are you helping me?" He asked as she put some antibiotic cream on the giant scar.
"If I chose to be petty, then I'd be the bitch you said I was." She said.
"I-I'm sorry." He muttered.
"There's nothing to be sorry about anymore, let's not dwell in the past." She said, brushing off the unpleasant memories.
Zarkon didn't understand why she'd help him hit couldn't help but start caring about her again. He pushed her away and now they're divorced. He truly did regret everything he has said and done to her.
