"What a long day..." Elara huffed and sat in the palace mess hall/dining room for a breather after dealing with issues within the cities of Daibazaal.

A servant soon brought her some water.

"Thank you." She said and chugged her water the servant bowed her head with a smile and left the dining hall.

Out of nowhere a male Galran scientist walked into the large room looking panicked. When he saw Elara and the empty glass he gasped in horror, catching Elara's attention.

"Are you alright?" She asked with an eyebrow arched up.

"I- um? Your majesty... by any chance did you drink that whole glass?" He asked nervously.

"I did?" She said, beyond confused.

"Oh no..." he mumbled.

"What's going on here?" Another male voice asked.

Zarkon had entered the room at poor timing.

"Well Lord Zarkon... there seems to have been a bit of a mix up." The scientist said nervously, sweating bullets.

"What kind of mix up?" Elara questioned.

"Well, the Altean alchemists sent us a potion to inspect and a servant may have taken the wrong glass and accidentally served it to Empress Elara!" The scientist blurted out nervously.

"What?!" Elara gasped.

"What does the potion do?" Zarkon asked, now a bit angry.

"I don't kno-"

Out of the blue, a purple poof of smoke appeared and Elara was nowhere to be seen, her clothes, jewelry, and crown were piled up on the floor.

"Elara? Bunny? What just happened?!" Zarkon growled.

"She... she's gone." The scientist said.

Out of nowhere a meow was heard and Zarkon immediately looked down and shrieked at what he saw.

"BUNNY NO!" He squealed.

"Oh dear!" The scientist shrieked.

Elara, well, the cat stared up at Zarkon and just meowed at him.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!?" Zarkon raged at the other Galran man in the room.

"IT WASN'T ME!" He squealed, cowering from the raging emperor.

"I DON'T CARE IF IT WAS YOUR FAULT OR NOT! JUST TURN HER BACK TO NORMAL!" Zarkon commanded in a fury.

"I can't but luckily within a few hours she will be back to her normal self!" The scientist said as he ran out of the room leaving Zarkon and Elara alone.

Zarkon looked down and she was gone.

"What the- Elara um- cat... wife... Creature- where did you go?" Zarkon asked, not even knowing what to refer to her as anymore as he looked around the room.

Another meow was heard and this time he looked up at the chandelier and saw her standing on it.

"How the hell did you get up there?!" He gasped.

She hissed in response and continued to balance on the circular chandelier.

"I command you to get down from there at once!" He growled.

As the feline version of his wife was about to respond she lost her balance and tumbled down from the chandelier right into his hands.

"This is going to be a long day..."

The feline would follow Zarkon wherever he went. Except the bathroom, she still had the decency to wait outside.

They sat in Zarkon's study now. She was fairly laid back but never fully calm. As Zarkon I was doing his emperor duties, he noticed Elara distracted by something.

"What are you playing with?" Zarkon asked.

She turned around and he saw a tail sticking out of her tiny mouth.

"What... Is... That?" He gagged in disgust.

She tried to walk away but he caught her and held her. He then pulled whatever was in her mouth out by the tail and saw that it was a mouse.

"I'm never showing you any sort of affection ever again." He said as he let the mouse go as he stared at her.

She stared at him until she started to choke on something.

"W-What's wrong?!" He panicked.

His worst nightmare happened right before his eyes... Hairball to the armor. He dropped her and took off to the bathroom where he lost every single thing he ate for dinner.

"Heavens make it stop! Give me my bunny back already! End my suffering!"

Another few hours pass by and they were both ready for bed. Elara has not turned back to normal yet. Zarkon took on the unfortunate responsibility to give her a bath right before bed. Scratches everywhere. He left her for a very very soft and yes he cleaned out her mouse mouth much to her disliking.

He prayed that she would wake up normal again. Oh you had to do was wait and see.

Next morning-

Zarkon woke up the next day stretching and yawning. He heard a familiar tired sigh and looked to his right to see the lovely Galran woman he missed so dearly. There was just one thing, because she was a cat, she couldn't wear anything. So... you already know he was very happy with what his eyes were seeing.

"BUNNY!" he yelped in pure joy.

She squealed, startled by his outburst.

"Was that necessary?!" She growled.

She sat up and wondered why he was staring at her the way he was. She glanced down to herself and gasped, yanking the blanket to cover herself.

"I'm happy to have you back. And stop acting like I haven't seen that before." Zarkon said and hugged her after giving her robe to her.

"Can you at least tell me what happened?" She asked, she couldn't remember anything that happened to her.

"It's a long story..."
