Zarkon and Elara just found out that Elara is three weeks pregnant with another kit. She was a surprised but did see it coming, come on, it's Zarkon we're talking about.

"You just couldn't help it could you?" Elara huffed.

"You asked for it and you know how I am during heat season." Zarkon snickered.

"Yeah, an uncontrollable beast with an outrageous sex drive, anyway just remember you put the kit in there so you're gonna put up with me until it comes out." Elara said seriously.

"I know, I know, I was great when you were pregnant with Koltor." Zarkon said with a scoff.

"You complained about everything, my cravings, mood swings, endless naps, and even whether Koltor was a boy or girl." Elara said.

"And who was right?" Zarkon asked.

"Me, you thought he was a she." Elara chuckled.

"Whatever woman! I know this one is a girl." He said.

"For once I think this one's a girl too. It'd be nice for Koltor to have a little sister. He is two years old now, he might like having a sibling." Elara said.

"Well let's not get our hopes of having a daughter up just yet, you're only three weeks after all." Zarkon said.

For the remainder of the night they wondered how they would tell their son that they were expecting a baby in a couple of months. They hoped that he would be happy and prayed for their baby to be a girl. Tomorrow would be the day they tell Koltor of Elara's pregnancy. He'd be a good brother but only time can tell.
