"Please don't touch me." I managed to say as both of their arms were on my arm.

"Why not? We just want to talk, you never talk to us at school." Jack snickered.

"We all know you want to appear mysterious for attention, Hyunjin wouldn't date a girl like that.. No guy would." Luke smirked at me.

"I— Why would I want attention? Hyunjin is like a brother to me." I furrowed my eyebrows, I felt anger rise up in my stomach as I hear their stupidity.

"Don't want attention? I saw the way you talked to the new boy at school, you act like such a pick me." Luke laughed as he pulled me closer. "Stop acting like you're too special to talk to anyone."

"Leave me alone." I glared.

"No, we don't want to." Jack replied.

"I said leave me alone!" I yelled as I ripped my hand away and began to run away, I have never felt this much anger before.

I've felt annoyed and mad before but never this amount of anger, I wanted to hurt them I wanted to hit those boys as hard as I could.

What the fuck was wrong with me?

"Get back here you bitch!" Luke screamed as they both chased me down the block.

I was beginning to shit bricks like I was getting scared each step I took, no one was around the streets seemed empty around this neighborhood how unfortunate.

Were they going to hit me? Beat me up? I don't want to think about the things they'd do to me if they caught up, I'm not the most athletic person but Hyunkin and I like to go on runs in the mornings sometimes.

"Ulani?" I passed a familiar face as I ran down this building, it was Chan.

He walked out confused as to why I was running so fast until he saw two guys chasing me, and to my surprise he ran with me.

That's when I heard a loud bang pierce the air, that's when I lost it.

I immediately fell to the floor and covered my ears as I looked at the ground trying to distract myself from the sound. Every inch of nerve in my body was raging in a cage waiting to burst, I was having an anxiety attack.

I hated loud noises I really do and I always have, I especially hate gunshots. I didn't want to look back to clear my curiosity if the boys had a gun and tried to shoot me, I hated the sound.

This was the point where I would die, I would seriously die.

"Ulani!" I heard a muffled yelling but I remaines on the floor staring off into the abyss.

"Get up! They'll catch us! Get up!"

"Artemis! Get up! The building's going to explode!" Chris yelled as he picked the girl up in his arms.

The girl held her hands over her ears to muffle the loud noises of gunshots and bombs, she was stabbed in the stomach and she thought it was her end.

The cut was too deep and she was too in shock to even move, Chris still helped her up and led her back to safety.

"Chris, I think I love you." She spoke out as he got the girl into the black van.

"What?" Chris breathed out in pain as he holds his bruised hip.

"I love you." Artemis repeated as she brought his face closer to hers, he looked at her with lust and ultimately gave in.

Their kiss was deep and long as their tongues collided with each other fighting for dominance, the members just turning around in exhaustion.

Artemis could tell Minho was judging them seeing that they were badly injured yet still found time to be romantic.

"Ulani!" My eyes widened as I finally look up at see I was in Chan's arms as he ran down the blocks to lose the commotion going on.

"Chan." I managed to breathe out.

My focus was all on him, the details on his face appeared more clearer like the dimples and the light little freckles he had. His lips were in the shape of a heart and his eyes were soft and fierce.

"You're finally back up to speed, you fainted back there I had no choice to pick you up and run." Chan brought us into an ice cream shop and let me sit in the chair as he panted. "I'm sorry if me carrying you felt uncomfortable but you weren't responding."

I fell quiet at his words, realizing I had let this man take matters into his own hands and hold my body close to his. I let this man so close to myself and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I almost craved it at the realization.

"It's— It's okay." I looked at him.

"Really?" He shot me a small smile that revealed his dimples.

"Thank you for saving me back there, I have a terrible reaction to loud noises." I confessed. "I need to get back to Seungmin's house."

"I'll take you— If you allow me to... I won't ask questions about those guys but I won't have allow you to be in danger again." Chan said. "Those guys pulled out guns."

That made me even more scared, they went to our school and they had guns? What the fuck.

As we walked it to Seungmin's house, Chan was quiet throughout the whole time. He didn't question why I fainted or who the guys were, I think he respected my boundaries now.

I liked that.

"Here." I hand Chan a bag full of pocky. "Thank you."

"I love pocky." Chan smiled as he took it out of my hands and rang the doorbell. "Don't worry, I won't mention anything of what happened to them."

"Ulani! Oh— Chan? What are you doing here?" Seungmin scratched his head dumbfounded at the sight.

"I dropped Ulani off, didn't want to her to walk alone." Chan said. "I'll be on my way then."

"Wait—" I started as I hesitantly hold his arm to stop him from leaving. "Stay."
