PANIC! PANIC! But Not at a Disco.

So... Did you like the last chapter? I'm asking now because if I asked it last chapter I feel it would have ruined the suspense I tried to create. So no, we don't know whether Alice is still alive or who kidnapped her because every Wonderlandian we know so far had long hair except Rabbit. But enough about that, this chapter is in the present not the past. Though did you like seeing sensible Rabbit? Because you'll probably never see him again.

"Hey! We're back!" Qibli said as the group came back to camp.

"I have metal!" Cassie said.

"Oh yay! You got Cassie's metal!" Umber said and then gave the readers a "B*tch you thought I was gone but I'm back" stare.

"I spent all my money..." Ocotillo mumbled.

"So Cassie, how big do you want your dragon to be?" Leo asked.

"About as big as Festus," Cassie answered.

Leo laughed nervously,"Yeah I don't think we have enough metal for that."

"We have enough for a head," Cassie said. She ran over to the tools, grabbed some metal, and started working.

A couple hours later...

"Wow Cassie, all you needed was my tools and instructions and you've made a good dragon head," Leo said.

The shining head of Cassie's dragon looked a bit like Festus but it was narrower so it looked more feminine. "Now I just need a gem for the eye," Cassie said.

"We'll get a gem later, which part do you wanna work on next?" Leo asked.

"The neck of course!" Cassie said and started hammering and shaping the metal.

"She's pretty good at this stuff, don't you think? At least for a young eight year old," Lina commented then went to take a short walk.

"Yeah. Oh Cassie! Remember to keep it hollow for the mechanical workings!" Leo reminded.

"Got it!" Cassie said.

"I'MMMMMMMMM BAAAAAAACK!" Lina said.

"Noooooooooo!" Ron said.

"Shhhhhhh Ron! Wait until you come!" Lina said.

Ron pouted,"Fine."

"Good." Lina said.

"Ron's so weird," Eri said.

"LET IT GOOOO! LET IT GOOOOO!" Elsa said, poofing to the camp.

"AHHHHH! KILL IT WITH FIRE! IT'LL MELT HER!" Eri screamed.

"GO AWAY ELSA!" Lina said and poofed Elsa away.

"Thank you!" Eri thanked.

"No problem," Lina said.

"Hey Cassie wanna talk while you work?" Qibli asked.

"Sure why not?" Cassie said as she hammered the metal. The metal clanged as it collided with her hammer.

"As long as it doesn't distract you. Well before we ended up her we were in a place with a, drumroll please.... Gorilla apocalypse!" Qibli said.

"Cool!" -CLANG!- "Sounds dangerous and-" -CLANG!-" -weird!" Cassie said.

"Trust me it was," Lina said.

"Yeah the gorillas got smart and had guns. There was this thing called Gorilla o' Clock where'd they come and shoot us. Most of the times we were safe. Though I did get shot once," Qibli said.

"Do you have a scar? Does it ever hurt?" Cassie asked.

"Yeah. That was about... Uh I actually don't know how long ago it was, but it occasionally does hurt," Qibli said. (It was actually only around 3 in story days. Trust me I counted.)

"Woah... I have a scar too. Obviously from a different incident. What happened next?" Cassie asked. CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

"Well we had dinner then Lina teleported us to a book place called the glade," Qibli said.

"Read it" -CLANG!-" and loved it!" Cassie said.

"Yeah then Ocotillo got stabbed by a griever. We managed to save her without the change happening. At least as far as we know," Qibli said.

Ocotillo shifted uncomfortably,"Yeah sometimes I still feel... Unlike myself."

"By a griever? Woah," Cassie said. Her eyes widened and she kept on hammering distractedly. "So both of you have gotten injured."

"And then Bunny Man tried to kidnap her. Bunny Man really likes Ocotillo.Then Cheshire came and took us to Wonderland. We met some people and her we are," Qibli said.

"I feel bad for you," Cassie told Ocotillo, "Bunny Man is creeeeeeeepy."

"Before I came to Camp Half-Blood I was a foster kid," Cassie said,"I had tried to stay on my own but every time I ran away monsters would come and cause a scene. They would attack mortals and I'd get taken back to the orphanage. But one day at my school a satyr came and brought me to the camp. I got the scar on my arm from a monster attack on my first run away."

"Wow, I guess we all have our traumatic experiences. Except probably Lina and Eri and maybe the Wonderlandians," Qibli said.

"Yeah, don't know what happened to my real mom. Guess she is dead... And my dad..." Cassie looked up to the sky,"Well he can't come down and interact with his children."

"Hey, should I still have after affects from the griever sting?" Ocotillo asked.

Eri looked at Newt,"Should she?"

"Errr... Don't think so," Newt said,"Something must have gone wrong with the serum."

"Wait so she still has the symptoms?" Qibli asked.

Ocotillo scratched the back of her neck, "About that... Forgot to mention it?"

"WAIT SO YOU COULD DIE?!" Rabbit asked.

"I DON'T KNOW!" Ocotillo said.

Eri frantically ran around in circles,"THIS IS TERRIBLE!"

"Calm down. No need to panic, okay?" Ocotillo tensed for a second, her eyes flash with anger for a split second, and she gritted her teeth in pain,"There's nothing wrong."

Cassie set down her tools,"Wait what's wrong?!"

"Ocotillo could become a crazy woman any second now!" Qibli said.

"I wouldn't let myself do that!" Ocotillo frowned,"Have some faith in me will you?"

Cassie walked up to Ocotillo,"I can stay with her and make sure nothing happens. As long as that's okay with Leo and you guys."

"If you thought you had symptoms you should have told us," Cheshire said.

"Well I thought it was just a pain in my back..." Ocotillo said.

"I'll stay with you two," Leo told Cassie, "And we can keep Bunny Man away from her."

Cassie grinned,"Okay! Maybe we can work on my dragon while we protect her. I've got the neck done!" Then she and Leo sat by Ocotillo.

"Perhaps we can make the serum again and give it to Ocotillo," Abe said.

"So how about Abe's suggestion Newt?" Eri asked.

"We can't give someone the serum twice," Newt said,"Who knows what could happen. They could die."

Eri said,"Oh," then ran around in panicked circles yet again screaming,"AAAAAAAAAH!"

"I'm not going to kill anyone," Ocotillo defended herself,"It'll probably fade away."

Eri stopped running,"YOU DON'T KNOW!"

"I am the one feeling this stuff not you," Ocotillo reasoned,"I would know if I was angry enough to kill someone."

"So? You're not angry at the moment but you could be angry later," Eri said.

Ocotillo's eye twitched,"Okay I'm slightly annoyed now."

"You know what? I'm just gonna work on my dragon..." Cassie said and started hammering a leg into shape. CLANG! CLANK! BANG!

"Yeah I guess I'll keep an eye on Rabbit..." Eri said.

Ocotillo leaned against a tree with her eyes squeezed shut.

"So Moon, how are you and Winter," Qibli asked.

"Terrific honestly! I actually saw Winter laugh for the first time!" Moon said.

"LOOK A BIRD!" Eri shouted.

Ocotillo opened her eyes,"What?"

"A bird!" Eri repeated.

"Are you sure that's not Jason?" Lina asked.

Jason scowled.

Eri's eyes widened,"Wait... I'm a writer and since I'm not a book character, historical person, or OC... THAT MEANS I HAVE AUTHOR POWERS TOO! And the powers include teleportation!"

"You just realized that?" Lina asked. Before she could get an answer, Eri had teleported them back to the mountains in the gorilla apocalypse. It was night.

"Home sweet dangerous home," Eri said.

Ocotillo stiffened and forced herself to relax,"Yep brings back memories."

"What is this place?" Cassie asked.

"Hm I expected you guys to act like when Lina brought us to the maze." Eri said.

"We already know this place iso it's different," Newt said.

"Yeah but Qibli got shot and almost died so I thought you guys would yell at me," Eri said, sounding disappointed that she wasn't getting yelled at.

"Well if you insist... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WE COULD GET KILLED!" Lina yelled.

"But hey, it's home!" Eri said.

"This is South Dakota the place where we're staying. This is where the gorilla apocalypse is, where I got shot," Qibli said.

"Will I get shot? Will anyone else get shot? I hope not," Cassie said.

"No Cassie, I'm sure we'd all protect you," Leo said.

"If you say so," Cassie said.

"Isn't that right everybody?" Leo asked.

"Yep, but now I must sleep," Ocotillo said.

Everyone else agreed that they would protect Cassie.

"Though Ocotillo, it's only 9:00." Eri said.

"I'd also protect Alice with my life!" Rabbit said.

All the blondes just stared at him.

"Not you brats. The real Alice," Rabbit said.

"That's a good creep," Ocotillo said.

"Though I'd happily die for you too!" Rabbit told Ocotillo.

"Go die in a hole then," Ocotillo said.

"How cruel..." Rabbit said.

"How creepy," Ocotillo said.

"I am NOT giving you another 500 Quin," Cheshire said.

"Aw man," Ocotillo pouted.

"Wait... We're teenagers in human years and Rabbit is an adult..." Kinkajou said.

Lina made a disgusted face,"Ew, it's best not to think about that."

"I hope the real Alice is an adult, so at least it isn't as weird for her," Qibli said.

"I hope so too," Cassie said.

"Shhhh. You're eight you don't have to listen to this stuff," Eri said.

"Okay," Cassie said.

"Though Cheshire told me Alice is an adult, that Rabbit used to be sensible, and that Rabbit probably only likes Ocotillo because she's blonde. The only reason he doesn't like Dormouse is because Rabbit thinks she's 'impure' whatever that means," Eri said, vomiting out the information Cheshire told her.

"Okay," Qibli said,"Hey Moon, can you read gorilla minds?"

"Weirdly, yes," Moon answered.

"What have you been able to pick up?" Qibli questioned.

"Well first of all their thoughts are very loud. And I can hear that they didn't come for gorilla o' clock so they are planning an attack very soon," Moon said.

"Let's get ready," Eri said, grabbing her slingshot and setting in ammo that exploded on impact.

Cassie attached her dragon head to the neck,"It can breathe fire now, so hopefully it can be helpful."

Ocotillo stood up and Lina grabbed her dagger.

Rabbit brought out a pocket watch and it turned into a pistol. Abe took out the pistol he stole from Booth.

Gally held up his fists. Minho prepared his insults. Newt brought out the gun that was supposed to be Gally's.

Umber got his fire ready. Qibli stood to the side a little bit but was ready. Leo's fingers started to flame, and Percy drew out Riptide.

Just as Annabeth pulled out her dagger, footsteps thundered nearby and they could hear the growls of a gorilla.

This would be a battle, and they would be ready.
