Mer was in her room, she was sitting on the bed thinking about everything that happened the last year. She fought with Loki for stupid things, she danced with her love of her life, or at least what she believed Loki was back then, her parents died in front of her eyes, she was throughout to earth by people who she knew all her life, she met Charles, she fell for him, she survived without a memory and then when she regained it Loki came and took her back. She wasn't sure about who she was anymore, she wiped some tears that were in her eyes. She was scared, the legend was slowly becoming truth. She was turning into a person she couldn't recognize herself not anyone else, she would become a monster before she died. She would become cruel, heartless and God know what else before she would finally die.

She stood up suddenly and took some breaths, she took off her tiara and rubbed her eyes as she contained a sob. It was passed midnight but little did she care, she fixed her dress and exited her room. She made her way to the gardens in the back of the second tower where the royal graveyard is, tears made their way to her eyes as she looked at her parents grave. She sat on a bench which was next to it and just stared at their photos, they seemed so happy, it was their wedding day and they were both so happy and carefree and so in love. She let herself cry, she had to cry like that a very long time. When she didn't have anymore tears she sighed and looked at the ground

"So I suppose it's true....the legend, about me....am I really becoming that monster? I will die, I know that....you knew that too, you tried to protect me from the truth but....it was just too obvious to be hidden anymore, I scared everyone at dinner.... I don't know what came over me, I don't know why I acted this way.... I was just so angry and, and....and I felt so powerful yet powerless at the same time, it was like my powers increased but my soul was just so...tired" she said and sobbed, she couldn't hold back her tears anymore

"I don't know how I am supposed to face Charles or Loki again, they probably hate me by now and I just love them so much... I do, I am so in love with Charles, he is so perfect and so good, his eyes....oh if I could describe what I see in those eyes....and then there is Loki, my Loki...sweet, kind with me and the man I was in love since I can remember myself...the boy who were with me though everything in my life. And I just don't know who to choose because I can't choose.... I need time to figure who I love and who I just like....but that's my problem, I don't know how much time I need....neither how much time I have" she said and sighed, she didn't know how much time she had before she was just another and another photograph in a grave stone and she didn't know how much time she needed to realize who she loves. And even if she doesn't none could guarantee her they would love her back, little did she know both of them were hers, soul and heart. They loved her beyond limits.

She made her way inside the castle again, when she reached her room and opened her door she saw the lights open and Loki sitting on her bed. She was confused and a little pissed off too, but she knew it wasn't herself who was kissed but the new person she was becoming.

"What are you doing in my room in the middle of the night Loki?" She asked in a not so angry tone as she tried to keep her temper down, she raised and eyebrow and crossed her hands over her chest

"I...I wanted to talk to you Mer, I didn't got the chance to talk to you or even held you in my arms since you came here and I missed you Mer...so much" he said in a sad tone as he stood up and approached her, they weren't too close but he could still smell her sweet perfume which was driving him crazy every time

"I don't have anything to say to you Loki...and we hugged when you found me, no need for more drama" she said coldly and sighed, she so desperately wanted to run in his arms and held him for the whole night

"What's wrong with you?! I even talked to Charles about what happened and he said you act the same way around him too, I know you miss your parents and you try to deal with you life, the legend and all the answe-" he said but cut off by her angry tone

"You know nothing! You don't know how I feel! I am broken, I saw my parents die in front of my eyes! You know nothing Loki! You are the perfect prince and I am the weird, powerful girl who is turning into a bitch because of a stupid curse!! What do you know about that?! So stop talking like you can feel me or even understand my emotions because you can't, neither you nor Charles nor anyone will ever understand me!! I am turning into a monster, I know that I will die! And I know that the people I care will live to see me turning into something I didn't choose!" She said and blinked back some tears before she run a hand over her face and sighed "so get over it Loki. This is the new me! (Whoever understood from where that quote is please comment it!)" she snapped and looked into his eyes, her once soft and delicate brown eyes turned into cold and forceful ones with nothing else but coldness on the surface but little did everyone knew that there was more in Mer than that, she still had hope, she still believes the curse would broke and she still believe that one day, somehow everything would return back to normal. But what was even normal for her from now and on?
