Mer smiled at Charles widely, it was the forth time that month they decided to practice her powers. She did very well, from what he had told her. She was always insecure about everything on her though, but somehow he always managed to make her feel;  special, unique, smart, beautiful and he was proud of her. The problem was that she wasn't and it saddened him she didn't appreciate her value. She looked at him grinning as she had just managed to grow a dead flower and bring it back to life, she hugged him tightly and chuckled happily as he spun her around

"Thank you, thank you so much Charles! Thank you again!" She said happily and chuckled as she relaxed on his arms, his aura was so clear and so calming. She loved the feeling sge got in his arms, being with him, feeling him. For her he meant the world, he took care of her, offered her a place to stay, helped her with everything she needed, and was a true friend who was always there when she needed him. Because after all what does she need more in a world? His eyes was the sea, his hair the mountains and his face the most beautiful view. He was her world, or at least a planet in her galaxy. The fact is that, earth is only a planet too but the only one with life.

"You don't need to thank me Mer. You know that, you did it! And I am so proud of you" he said smiling not letting her go of his arms. He loved the feeling I holding her, because for some moment she was his and only his. He had her in his arms and he felt like holding the stars, he felt like holding the whole universe in his arms and it was rare that only a person can mean so much to somebody. It's rare to feel like that with only a hug, but after all both of them were far from ordinary people.

"I wouldn't have achieved anything without you though, want to get inside and drink some tea? The Sun is setting, I think we should stop" she said softly and looked at him, her arms still wrapped around him though.

"Sure, I would love that. I am free for the rest of the day anyway" he said smiling as his one arm wrapped around her shoulders as they made their way inside the mansion.

When they got in the kitchen they sat opposite from each other after Charles made some tea for both of them. She smiled softly at him as she took a sip from her tea, she just looked into his eyes grinning. She then understood that what felt for him was strong, or at least she thought so. She has never been in love before, or has she? She didn't know, she felt many things for Charles but a part of her heart felt something else. Nostalgia maybe? For who though? Those questions that were torturing her, that she asked herself and could never find the answers.

"Mer....you know that I can get inside your head and tell you those answers" he said gently and smiled softly, he knew about all those questions she had about her life, or at least past life. He wanted to help her, but at the same time he was afraid that those answers will caused her to leave. What if she had someone else? What if she loved him more? What if her last life was worth more than what he was offering here? But the fact is that he loves her, and someone once said that we should set free the ones we love. If they love us back, they will come back.

"I know.....and I think it's time to do so, I want to know Charles. But I just....I am not sure if I can come back to my last life, I like it here" she said smiling as her eyes never left his, she was afraid of what they would find in that part of her brain. But she needed to overcome that fear, because once she knew she did. Or she was just too fearless to care about fear itself?
