Your nightmares survived in the lights
while my daydreams died in the nights

And when my day mares appeared
I had to hide and disappear
But when your night dreams slept
they were still all that you dreamt

My night dreams hid from reality
but always seemed to find me
Your day mares began to steal midnight
and blind you with beams of white

Your day mares were unable to be tamed
but you ended up with the blame
My nightdreams never took a break
leaving hoofprints in its wake

Your night dreams refused to go to sleep
instead becoming sheep thieves
My day mares refused to stay still
until one day when they went for the kill

My nightmares murdered the lights
while your daydreams defied the nights
