Chapter 46

"Again!" Emmett's voice boomed and echoed throughout every surface of the forest.

Samantha stayed at her spot which was next to Rosalie who had been staring at Emmett and his figure for the past ten minutes they've been here. It had been a few hours since the party and since Samantha found out about the newborns. And in those hours that had passed, Samantha hadn't got any sleep. The teenager looked as if she was about to pass out at any moment. Samantha was trying to figure out who was behind all of this. Of course, the first person she thought of was Victoria.

Then the next was a certain missing person, Riley Biers. Samantha did some research on him and it caught her attention immediately. She started to think if Riley and the newborns were somewhat connected. Riley went missing in Seattle. The disappearances of some people, which still continued on, was all happening in Seattle.

They all have to connect somehow right? Samantha thought.

Her thoughts were interrupted whine she saw Emmett, once again, fly across the open of the forest and slimed his back on the dirt. Samantha shook her head and chuckled when she saw the look of annoyance on Emmett's expression. Jasper was teaching his family as well as the pack how to fight off newborns. The only person he wasn't teaching was Samantha. why. One being that she could kill an entire clan on her own. The second, she already knew how newborns fought from experiencing it herself.

She as well as the Cullen's gathered themselves besides each other as they all stared at the woods when they felt their presence near by. Soon enough, she saw her brothers wolf figure pop out then Jacob, then the rest of the pack. Samantha's chest tightened at the sight of Jacob. The conversation she recently had with him still haunted her mind. She told herself to not feel guilty of what she said to him. He's the one that should be feeling guilty, not her. But she couldn't help it, the sad look he gave her made her feel as if she was the one guilty.

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard Carlisle speak. "Will you translate?" He asks looking at Edward who nodded his head. Carlisle stepped forward, glancing at each and every wolf,"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them. Same goes for Samantha."

All wolves turned their fury heads towards the hybrid who simply gave them a sheepish smile followed by a nod. "They want us to know how the newborns are different from us," Edward interjects.

"They're a great deal stronger then us. It's because human blood is in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful then in our first five seven months after the bite," Carlisle explains then turns to Jasper giving him a look to continue on.

Jasper stepped forward, leaving his spot from where he once stood bedside Samantha and Alice. "Carlisle's right. That's why they were created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army but no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are first, never let them get their arms around you. The second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that."

"And you will lose," Samantha finished gaining the wolves attention.

"Emmett!" Jasper called out causing the brown haired muscular vampire to head to the open area of dirt.

Jasper smirked as he looked at his brother,"Don't hold back."

Emmett chuckled,"Not in my nature."

Emmett goes in to throw a punch at Jasper but seeing as how he was the most experience with his families fighting techniques, Jasper quickly ducked down and slams his arm into Emmett's stomach. His brothers back slammed itself onto the dirt. "Never lose focus."

Next to fight, was Carlisle and Edward or in Samantha's words father and son.

Samantha knew that Edward was battling with himself in his head. Wondering if he should charge first or if he she would wait. She knew that Edward didn't want to harm Carlisle but when he got a nod of approval from him, Edward didn't rethink about sprinting towards him. As soon as Edward lunged, Carlisle followed right after. Just as the two were about to collide, Edward jumped over Carlisle's body as Carlisle slide under Edwards.

Samantha watched with amusement at the little father and son brawl. She couldn't help but find it entertaining seeing the two fight with one another. She saw how they both worked, how they both fought. It was different but not a good different for Samantha. The way they were fighting was they way children fight over a toy. She hoped that when her and Jasper spare, they'll get it through their heads that the way she fights is the way the newborns will.

Samantha now watched Alice and Jasper sending each other looks of amusement.

"This should be good," Samantha muttered, earning a few chuckles from some of the Cullen's.

Samantha saw the way Alice easily dodged Jaspers hits. Jasper rushed towards the pixie only for her to cartwheel over his body. Alice spins and was about to land a hit onto Jaspers face but he caught it just in time and grabbed both her arms and pinned them behind her. Then just as Jasper was about to plant a kiss, Alice disappeared. Samantha saw the look of confusion on the Cullen's face but Samantha silently chuckled to herself when she saw Alice up above the tree that Jasper's back was to. Then just as Samantha suspected, Alice jumped on Jasper's back then leaned her body forward and gave a peck to his lips.

Samantha felt something or someone nudge her arm which caused her to look at her side only to come face with Jacob in his wolf form. "What Jacob?" She asks annoyed. She knew she was being stubborn as well as a bitch but she didn't care at the moment. She didn't want to deal with him. She didn't want to hear his apologies. She didn't want any of it.

She heard a small whimper come from him which made her heart sink a little. Sighing, she ran her fingers through her hair then leaned against the tree that was behind her. "Please Jacob. Don't do this, not right now. I-I just need some time," she said to him.

"Samantha!"

Her eyes drifted away from Jacob's and met Jaspers golden ones. The blonde tilted his head, signaling for her to step onto the training area. She sent Jacob a look which sent him a bit of hope for them. He knew the look she gave him. It was a look saying, will talk later.

Jacob stayed where he was at and watched as he saw Samantha and Jasper giving each other a challenging look. He knew that Samantha could handle herself but he couldn't help but feel the need to protect her, even if she was just training.

"Twenty on Jasper," Emmett betted, holding his hand out to Edward who snickered.

"Fifty on Sammy."

Samantha ducked her head as she saw Jasper lunge his fist at her. For the past five minutes the two went at it. They sent each other punches and kicks non stop. In the one minute mark, Jasper was beginning to grow tired. He knew that Samantha was strong and all but he didn't know she was this strong. He no doubt knew the teenager could take care of the newborns. Hell, she could probably handle them all by herself.

Jasper felt himself go air bone but he was soon met with the bark of the tree. With a loud thump, Jasper was met, for the fifth time, with the dirt. With a chuckle, Samantha held out her hand which he gladly took and pulled himself up. He groaned when he felt pain form around his back. "I might of gotten a little carried away with my strength," Samantha told him sheepishly.

Jasper scoffed,"A little?"

"You owe me fifty bucks Emmett," Samantha heard Edward say which caused her to roll her eyes. Alice helped Samantha guide Jasper's bruised up body to Carlisle who was already waiting for him by the car.

"You think you can knock some sense into Emmett when I need it?" Rosalie said teasingly to Samantha.

The hybrid laughed,"I'm just a call away."

I actually like this chapter lol

Not much of a cliffhanger but I liked the way it ended *upside down smiley emoji* I'm not really good with writing fight/spare scenes but I think I did okay with it in this chapter. I'm not much of a begger (if that's even a word) & I don't say this a lot but please comment on what you guys think about the book. Only a few people meaning like 2 or 3 people comment (which I appreciate you guys xx) The comments tell me that you're liking the book or something related to that but if you guys don't then I understand. So I just saw Batman V Superman .... Batman gotta a body y'all *heart eyes emoji* This year is the year for movies you guys lmao Next movie is Civil War *sunglasses/cool emoji*
