Chapter 42
2 Months Later

Samantha's breathing was ragged as her fists were clenched up. Her feet were beginning to feel sore but that didn't stop her from running.

It had been two months since the incident with Bella and Edward as well as Xavier's unknown visit. Bella tried calling both Samantha and Jacob but they would soon leave it to voicemail. On the other hand, Xavier, Samantha still kept in touch with him after he left. As for Samantha's and Jacobs relationship it was actually going pretty well. The two had been on a few dates with each other but their patrols is what has taken a tulle on them. Samantha took the night shifts as for Jacob took both morning and night. Despite their patrolling schedule, they did whatever they could to spend as much time together as possible. As for the notes from Jeremiah and Andrea, they've stopped. Which had Samantha thinking, do they know where she is?

Once Samantha spotted her house she grabbed the water bottle that was on her porch and began to chug it down. For over a month Samantha would always jog in the mornings seeing as how it would help her stress. Also, it would wake her up and get her out of her sleep mode. She got inside and took off her running shoes and jogged upstairs to her room to take a quick shower so that she can get ready for the school day.

After she got into her outfit, the doorbell rang meaning that a special someone was waiting for her by the door. She glanced at herself in her mirror and sighed. All Samantha wanted to do right now was sleep. Grabbing her school bag and soccer bag, she walked out of her room - shutting the door behind her - and began to make her way to the front door.

"Dani lets go!" Samantha shouted at the young vampire girl who was trying to find her converse.

"Coming!" Dani shouted back.

After Dani found her shoes, she ran downstairs and almost slipped. "You should really change this to carpet," she stomped her foot on the tile.

All Samantha did was chuckle. "I'll think about it."

"Hey beautiful," Jacob said smiling as he had one of his hands leaning against the side wall. Samantha smiled back and leaned in to a kiss.

"Uh ew," Dani scrunched her face up in disgust at the pda in front of her.

"Change of plans, how would you feel about skipping school?"Jacob began as he opened the drivers door - of Samantha's car - to let her in. Then did the same to Dani.

"Depends on what you have in mind," Samantha replied a bit confused on where he was going with this.

Once her door was shut, he leaned against it and placed his hands on the top of her car. "You know how last night Paul and the bloodsucker got into it?"

It all clicked in Samantha's mind,"Please tell me we're not going to go see them." All Jacob did was send her a small smile. Even though she was headed towards Forks High, she didn't want to see them.

"I'll be right behind you."

"Jesus Christ everyone's pale over here," Samantha muttered as she saw the Forks high students pass by her.

Do any of these people know anything about tanning? Sia questioned.

Jacob, who was standing beside Samantha, had wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to him. "Dani go drop off your packet and if they need me come and get me." The fourteen year old nodded her head and walked towards the school as Samantha stayed with Jacob and waited for them to come.

A black Volvo car pulled up in the school parking lot catching both Jacob and Samantha's attention. Samantha didn't know what to expect when she sees Bella. She had left the teenager numerous voicemails but she just simply ignored them. She tuck a piece of her hair behind her ear and began to listen to whatever conversation they were having in the car.

"What?" She heard Bella ask.

"If I asked you to stay in the car, would you?"

"Of course not."

Obviously, Samantha knew Bella wouldn't listen to Edward seeing as how the two pale faces were now starting to walk towards where both Jacob and herself were at. They were the only tanned people there. Not wanting to stay by the car, the two began to walk to where they stopped at. The four of them all stood in front of each other. You can basically feel the tension between the four.

"Hey," Bella greeted us with a shock and concerned expression written on her face.

"Charlie said you left town," Jacob said, getting straight to the point.

"Yeah to visit my mom, why?"

"They're checking to see if you're still human," Edward chuckled as he got a glimpse of Jacob's thoughts.

"Look I'm here to warn you. If your kind come on our land again." Jacob took a step forward causing Samantha to take one as well.

"Wait what?" Bella asked not really understanding what Jacob was talking about.

Samantha scoffed,"You didn't tell her?"

"Just leave it alone Samantha," Edward said sternly.

"Tell me what?" Bella took her eyes off of Samantha and was now looking at Edward, waiting for an explanation.

"Emmett and Paul had an misunderstanding. It's nothing to worry about," was all he said.

Nothing to worry about my ass, Sia chuckled. Sia never really took a liking to Edward for some unknown reason.

"Listen to you. Did you lie to get her out of town to?" Samantha chuckled. I'm pretty sure Bella doesn't know about the whole Victoria situation as well.

"Leave now," Edward took a step closer to her making Jacob pull her by his side.

"She has the right to know. She is the one who red head wants," Jacob said while tilting his head at Bella who looked like she was about to shit a brick at any moment.

"Victoria. Alice's vision."

Wow the girls slow, Sia commented.

"I was trying to protect you," Edward told her.

"By lying to me. Okay we're gonna talk about this but, you two." She now looked back at Jacob and Samantha.

"Why haven't you guys called me back?"

Because they were too busy getting it on, Sia joked making Samantha groan.

Right now is not the time Sia, she replied to her.

"We had nothing to say," Jacob grabbed a Samantha's hand and began to walk back to where they had their vehicles parked.

"Well I have tons, hold on," Bella said but Edward grabbed a hold of her wrist causing her to look at him.

"Bella," He began.

"Edward you have to trust me."

"I do trust you, it's those two I don't trust," he said while pointing towards our direction.

"Wow, don't I feel loved," Samantha snickered.

Bella didn't say anything to him but turn around and start walking towards Jacob and Samantha.

"Sammy!" The sound of Dani's voice had her look away from Bella and see Dani running towards her. She wrapped her arms around her waist and hugged her tightly.

"Hey," she chuckled at Dani's small action. "How'd it go?"

Before she could say anything, a woman who looked to be in her late thirties started talking,"Hello, my name is Mrs. Hank. I'm the principal of Forks high. I wanted to talk to you about Daniella."

Dylan thought it was best to put Dani in school so he could see how well she could manage to control her thirst around a crowd. Thankfully over the past two months Carlisle would come over and teach her how to control it.

"You're her guardian correct?" Mrs. Hank asked.

More like Mrs. Skank, Sia scoffed.

The woman was wearing a skirt that was basically showing her ass cheeks while her white buttoned up t-shirt was see through to the point where you could see her black bra show.

She nodded her head,"Yes." Derek's back story for Dani was that she was Samantha's cousin from New Jersey and moved here so they could spend some quality 'cousin time' with each other.

"I'm sorry to say this but we cannot take Daniella in. She seems like a lovely student but her grades aren't as good as we want them to be," was all she said before walking back inside the school.

"I'm sorry," Dani frowned then put her head down in disappointment.

Samantha kneeled down to her level,"Hey it's okay. Will try my school next. If they don't accept you either then will just homeschool you okay?"

For a fourteen year old, she sure is short and has a baby face, Sia snickered.

Shut up, She said annoyed.

"Okay," she said with a faint smile.

"Come on, get in the car. I'm taking Dani to the school I'll meet you up at my brothers after my game." She planted a small kiss to Jacob's lips then got in the car and drove off to Arrow Smith High.

"Right behind you Martin!" Samantha shouted at Lydia as she saw that she now had the ball in her reach.

She kicked it towards her and Samantha was now running towards the goal. Swinging her right leg a bit back, she kicked the ball to where the goal was at which made the goalie from the other team try to grab it but it was too late. It hit the back of the rope and right on time, the whistle blew meaning that the game was over.

"That's my girls!" Coach shouted as he dropped his clipboard and started to run towards them.

"Wolverines! Wolverines! Wolverines!" The crowd chanted as well as their team.

"You were a bad ass Sammy!" Dani shouted as they got in her car.

She couldn't help but chuckle,"Thanks Dani. So are you excited about tomorrow?" When Samantha had the meeting with her principal about Dani, despite her grades, she decided to let her in.

"Yeah but I'm just a bit nervous. What if I lose control? I had any control with only the principal around," she rested her head against the window.

"Hey, I'll still be there with you. If you feel like you're going to lose it then walk out of the room and come find me. As long as I'm there you should be totally fine," she assured while grabbing her hand.

"You're right," she sighed.

"Sammy," Dani called out in a mumble.

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever get the feeling that something bad is coming," she said which had Samantha thinking why she would say something like that.

"I don't know I just have this feeling that something bad is going to happen," she added.

Something bad is coming, Dani thought making Samantha grip the steering wheel.

Block them Samantha, block them, she repeated to herself. This problem only happened twice. It recently happened when Frankie was around but she managed to block everyone's thoughts out. Ever since then she's been somewhat fine.

I agree with Dani Samantha. I've been getting bad vibes lately, Sia spoke.

"Hey, you know I won't let anything happen to you right?" She reminded her as she grabbed her hand.

"I just don't want you or any of the guys to get hurt. You guys are my family."

Once Samantha parked her car, both Dani and herself got out and started to walk towards the front door of her brothers house. The door flew open and Emily stood in front of them with a grin on her face. "It's good to see you again Sammy. Hey Dani come in. The boys are in the living room."

As they walked in the smell of chicken mixed with blueberry muffins smacked their faces. "Ignore the smell. The boys had chicken and muffins. They're still some left if you guys wants some." Dani didn't say anything as she darted towards the basket full of muffins.

"I might of starved her for the day," Samantha said sheepishly making Emily chuckle.

"Sammy!" Before she could say or see who it was, she was pulled into multiple bear hugs. Despite the fact that she was still in her soccer uniform, they still hugged her. The guys sudden outburst had her laughing.

"I missed you guys to," she said in between laughs as she gave the final hug to her brother.

"How did your game go?" Sam asked as he took a seat.

"It was good. We won," was all she said before grabbing myself a muffin. Her ears perked up at the sound of something being thrown. Not saying a word to anyone, she walked outside and began to walk to where the sound was coming from.

Soon enough, she found herself at her brothers garage where she heard a voice or two in there. "Bella their not even alive! It makes me sick. Better you be dead then be one of them," was all she heard from Jacob.

What the hell did we miss? Sia asked wondering what Bella and Jacob could be arguing about.

"Can't believe you said that. Edward was right I shouldn't have come," Bella said before walking out of the garage. Her eyes widened when she spotted Samantha.

"I'll take you home just wait in my car," she said softly then began to walk towards Jacob.

"What the hell was all that about?" She asked him while leaning against the side wall with her arms crossed.

"How much did you hear?" He asks while grabbing a tool from the ground.

"Just the end of it. Now you're gonna tell me what happened or am I going to have to get it out of your system." She was now standing in front of him with her arms wrapped around his waist.

"How did you-?"

"It's a hybrid thing," she winked.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her,"You look hot in your jersey."

She scoffed,"Stop trying to change the subject."

"I'll tell you I promise I just can't talk about it right now," was all he said before releasing his arms from her as she did the same.

"Well I gotta go and drop off Bella," a sighing escaped her lips.

Why won't he tell me? Does he not trust me? She thought to myself.

"Sam-" She cut him off.

"Bye Jacob."

"Thanks for the ride," Bella said before opening the car and getting off.

"I don't like her," Dani said while she switched seats.

"Why?" Samantha asks her snickering.

"Because she seems like a bitch," she crossed her arms.

At that Samantha laughed,"Bella? I doubt it. Now stop your glaring or else you're going to get wrinkles on your forehead."

The two stared from a far as they saw the hybrid pull up in her driveway. "I say we attack now," the man said to the girl who rolled her eyes at his excitement.

"Not now brother. Father gave us restricted orders. We must follow them as promised," the girl said as she turned her back to the hybrid who got out of her car along with a young girl by her side.

"Sammy you okay?" The vampire girl asked the hybrid who had stopped walking and was on full alert.

"Shit," the girl muttered and hid behind the tree, hoping that the hybrid hadn't spot her.

However her idiotic brother was still looking at the hybrid,"Hide dumbass!" The girl shouted in a whisper.

"Sorry!" He whispered back causing the girl to roll her eyes. Sometimes her brother doesn't annoy her but sometimes he does. Right now is one of those times.

"Sorry, I just thought I heard someone," the hybrid replied to the young vampire.

A sigh of relief escaped the girls mouth. Right when they heard the front door close, the two jumped off of the tree they were in. As soon as their feet touched the ground, they began to run back to where they had their little secret area.

"I hate to admit it but she got hot," the teenage boy said not really carrying that his father despised the hybrid with a passion.

The girl scoffed and slapped the back of her brothers head,"Right now is not the time to be thinking with your dick. We have to stick with the plan and the plan only."

Ignoring her comment of him and his 'friend', he spoke,"How are we going to get her to submit to dad?"

At that, the girl smirked which sent a shiver down her brothers spine,"We find her weaknesses. Meaning that we make her want father to end her life."

The boy narrowed his eyes,"And how do we do that?"

"Simple, we kill the ones she loves deeply. Father already ended her parents."

"Now it's our time to end the rest of them."
