Chapter 19

If you were in the position Bella was in right now, you would feel the tension between Samantha and Victoria's stares. Victoria smirked at the reaction she was getting from Bella. She loved the way she heard the teenagers heart beating quickly by the second. However, she didn't love the fact she had Samantha with her. Victoria took a step forward which made Bella take one back but Samantha, on the other hand, hadn't moved at all.

She was waiting for Victoria's next move. Samantha's been with Victoria long enough to know her schemes and traps. This wasn't a trap it was just an old scheme of hers'. A scheme Samantha knew all too well seeing as how she has done the same thing with someone else. Samantha tried her best to block out Sia's thoughts but it was impossible at the moment since all her thoughts were focused on Victoria.

I'm about to shove this foot up her candy monkey ass, Sia growled.

"No harm will come your way Sammy. Just hand me the girl and I'll be leaving," Victoria said kindly as she held out her hand.

Samantha glanced at her hand then back at her,"Yeah, I think I'll pass."

"You do not want to start with me," Victoria told her sternly as she took another step forward causing Samantha to take one was well so that now the two were in each other's face.

"Remind yourself who you're talking to," Victoria added.

Samantha looked at her up and down then smirked,"I'm talking to a worthless excuse of a vampire who had lost her little boyfriend that had gotten himself killed from his stupidity. That's who I'm talking to."

Victoria lunged at her but Samantha quickly dodged it and pulled the back of her jacket which sent Victoria flying against a tree. Once her back had came in contact with it, Samantha grabbed the back of her arm and held it behind her back as she smashed Victoria's face against the tree.

Samantha leaned into Victoria's ear,"Remind yourself who you're going up against."

"I'm going up against a little sixteen year old who had to see her parents get killed in front of her," Victoria managed to say.

Samantha was wounded by Victoria's words but she didn't show it,"Well this sixteen year old just kicked your ass."

Before Victoria could say anything back, Samantha was pushed off of her an was sent flying back. Knocking some sense into herself, Bella ran to where Samantha was at and helped her up. Samantha pulled Bella behind her when she saw Caleb helping Victoria help. Both Caleb and Victoria shared looks with one another then glanced at Samantha.

Right when they were about to attack Samantha, a grow that hadn't escaped from any of them, was heard which caused everyone to look around. Samantha turned around only to be met with a gigantic black wolf that hovered over her but they didn't do any to harm her.

It's not Derek or the guys, Sia told Samantha.

Samuel? Samantha thought.

Someone tugged on Samantha's shirt causing her to turn back around seeing four wolves running to where Victoria and Caleb were at. Victoria glanced at Bella then at Samantha. "Until next time," was all she said before pulling Caleb's arm and took off.

"Sammy," Bella called her which made her look away where Victoria and Caleb once were only to see Bella pointing behind her.

Turning around once more, Samantha was met with a wolf who had been waiting for her to notice their presence. Realization crossed Samantha's features as she looked at the wolfs eyes closely.

"Jacob?" She breathed out.

Not saying a word, they growled and began to run towards where the others left to leaving Samantha and Bella alone. "Grab my hand and close your eyes," Samantha told Bella who did as she was told. In a matter of seconds, Bella opened her eyes to find herself standing in front of Samantha's place.

"H-how did you-? We were just there and now we're here. W-what-," Bella couldn't even talk properly to Samantha who was trying her best to not laugh.

"I'll explain later. Come on."

Entering the house, Samantha as well as Bella walked to were the kitchen was at and saw all the guys in a circle as if they were blocking someone. "What now?" Samantha groaned. They all moved out of the way revealing who they were blocking.

"Sammy," they said taking a step forward to where she stood at.

"Felix."

"Did he write the note?" Frankie asked Felix while handing him the paper they had found recently.

Felix shook his head,"When did you receive the note?"

"It was on the table this morning," Dylan answered him.

Felix sighed,"I'll see what I can do until then you all watch over her." All eyes glanced at Samantha who had looked down at her shoes not liking to be the center of attention. Felix motioned for Samantha to go outside with him.

"Care to tell me why you're here? Not that I don't mind your presence," Samantha said as she and Felix stepped outside.

"Just came to see how you were doing. I must return back to Aro. For what I told him, apparently I'm out tearing people's throats out," he told her making her chuckle at the last part.

Pulling her into a hug, Samantha wrapped her arms around his waist while his were around her neck,"Please be careful."

"I always am." She added on,"Tell Alec I said hi."

A growl caused the two to pull away from each other and look at where the growl had come from. Samantha sighed when she saw the familiar wolf staring intently at Felix. Felix cracked his knuckles and took a step forward but was stopped by Samantha who gave him a look saying go. Seeing as how he wasn't cooperating with her, she flashed him her eyes that were once brown but now they had turned into a golden Crimson color which meant to Felix that she was being serious. Giving one last glance to the wolf, Jacob, as well as Samantha, Felix took off leaving the young teenager to deal with her imprint.

Samantha shut her eyes when she saw Jacob phase back into his human form naked. A minute later she felt him tap her shoulder which meant that he had put on some clothes to cover up his junk. Tilting her head to where her house was at, the two began to walk inside and head upstairs to her room. Once they got there, she closed the door shut wanting none of the guys to enter her room at the moment.

"I just wanted to say-" Jacob began but was cut off when Samantha had placed her hand, that was curled up in a fist, on his ripped stomach.

The familiar shocks at his touch had sent a shiver down Samantha's spine but she tried her best to ignore it. Samantha was trying her best to figure out at all the thoughts that were between of her and Jacob, into words. She knew what she was getting herself into if she excepted Jacob as her imprint. She knew the good as well as the bad things that might possibly come both their ways.

"Before you say anything, I should be the one to apologize first. I shouldn't have ignored you for the past weeks. I-I thought that maybe, maybe being away from you would somehow break this attachment I'm feeling towards you." Samantha didn't want to mention the word imprint but she knew she had to when she saw the way his face was formed in an upsetting look.

"Look Jake, you don't have explain to me in why you've been ignoring me for the past weeks. I know that you're a shape shifter." He looked at her in disbelief but she still continued on,"You're forgetting the fact that my dad along side yours' were once shape shifters or werewolves or whatever the hell it's called. All I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry for being a total bitch to you when I should of stood by your side while you were going through this."

Without saying anything, Jacob had pulled Samantha into a tight entrance that she always loved. "I don't care if you weren't there by my side. You're here now and this time I'm never letting anything get in the way of me and you."

Samantha smiled at his words but soon her smile had warred off when the next words or sentences escaped his lips,"There's something I wanted to ask you. You're scent it's different from anyone else's. It's not a horrible smell, it's a bit sweet. What I'm trying to say is, what are you?"

Not wanting to answer his question, Samantha blurted the first thing that had crossed her mind,"I can't tell you."

"What do you mean you can't tell me?" He asked her as he pulled away from the hug.

"Do you want me to say it in Spanish? Yo no puedo decirte."

Taking a few breaths, Samantha rephrased her words in a more polite matter,"It's a bit personal to me and I'm not ready to explain it. Just please trust me on this. When the time is right I'll tell you."

"If I told you, you'd never look at me the same way again."
