*Author's note and Disclaimer*
Hello everybody. Hope all of you are enjoying the book so far. So many things are in for Adam and Red and their pack in the future coming chapters but for now Adam and Red are gonna get back together YAAAYYYYYY!!!!! Okay so I want to make clear that all the songs that Red claims to have written DON'T belong to me. They are for everyone's entertainment and if you want during the club scene type in the songs I've listed and play along with them as you're reading. So I hope you enjoy reading Adam and Red's reunion chapter, and look forward to more chapters ahead for I've already made a plan on how many chapter's I want before the completion (but that's not for awhile now and how and when I want to write them cause I want a few of them to be PERFECT!!!) for now enjoy.

Finally the next night on May 15th she arrived in Detroit once again at around 2am in the morning. She claimed her one luggage and came out of the airport to see a cab waiting for her with a familiar tall Vampire holding a sign that read "BAD WOLF" on it. She shook her head at the Vampire and walked up to him.
"So happy that you decided on coming back". Khan grinned at her then Red said.
"I didn't do this for you I did it for Adam, that and the fact you four won't leave me alone until I finally did it, now let's get this over with so that I can worry what the cult will say once they see us back together". Red snarled as she opened up the back door and got in. Khan softly shook his head then went up to the driver's seat and drove away from the airport to the outskirts of town.
As they drove, Red took in the sights of how much Detroit had fallen. She had heard about it becoming a ghost town practically but actually seeing it was almost ridiculous and yet wonderful to her. Even though it was practically in ruins, she knew that it would soon rise up from the ashes like a phoenix one of these days, she could feel it.
"I bet Adam will be incredible happy to see you after 123 years of separation". Khan tried to talk to her.
"How do you know that? Would you be happy to see your surrogate daughter after she leaves you for over a century?"
"Truthfully—as a father myself long ago I would love my children no matter what they've done. It's a curse for father's really, we can't hate our children no matter what they do. Disappointed yes, but never truly hate," he looked at Red through his top rearview mirror and continued, "you're worrying over nothing Red, Adam will be shocked at first, but then he'll take you in his arms and make sure you don't ever go running away from him ever again, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets you on the leash". Red glared at Khan for that joke he was trying to make it funny but to her it was offensive and terribly bad.
After about an hour and a half drive from the lights of downtown to the darkness of nowhere, Khan and Red finally arrived at their destination.
Red once again stood at her old house sensing Adam was in there. Khan helped her with her luggage and placed it down beside her.
"If you need anything, John and I just live right next door". Khan went back to the driver seat when Red stopped him by saying.
"Khan!" He stopped and looked at her then she continued solemnly as tears glistened in her eyes. "I know I don't say this much cause I still think you're a dick, but—thank you". Khan smiled solemnly knowing he had done the right thing for both his brother and his niece. He bowed his head in respect for Red and a look on his face that told her 'good luck'. He then got into his car and pulled right up into his driveway right next door across the road from her house.
Red took a deep breath and grabbed her luggage and walked towards the house when she was stopped by a fellow critter walking in front of her. She gasped to see a raccoon just walking right in front of her without a glance or a hiss but just simply walking in front of her.
"Hello Rocket Raccoon" she joked. Then she continued toward the front porch when she took notice of the silhouette of a man turning on the lights from the front door illuminating his shadow even more and the door beginning to open.
Red's heart raced nervously as she felt like she should just turn and run as fast and as far as she can before the door opened, but she was just frozen in place.
Finally the door opened to reveal Adam.
Red took notice of what has happened to him since she left. His hair grew longer and was wildly untamed much like her's at this moment. Bags were under his eyes and his blue eyes seemed to have lost their mischievous, loving sparkle, only to be seen as death and soulless eyes. A light stubble grew along his face and he seemed even more ghostly paler than usual.
Red felt heartbroken at what she had turned Adam into. She was just waiting for him to come up, slap her across the face and scream at her for leaving and not giving a good enough reason. She could hear his footsteps as he walked across the porch, down the steps and onto the pavement. She couldn't look Adam in the eyes afraid of what would happen if he did, she may by the Alpha in their wolf forms, but first and foremost he is her father and always will be.
She felt him gently cup her chin and raise it up just so he could look at her and make sure that this was real and that this wasn't another hallucination brought up from his depression. He stroked and caressed her cheeks, her neck, her hair and her shoulders to make sure she wouldn't disappear. He just couldn't bare it if this was a dream or a trick only to lose his daughter once again.
None of them spoke a single word but their hearts cried out for each other trying to reconnect their Imprint but thanks to the cult, it was all in vain but their bond was still strong enough to finally after all these years embrace each other as tightly as possible and cry and kiss one another.
After their moment of reunion, Adam took Red's things in the house as Red waited outside the front porch. Once Adam was back at the door, they both bowed their heads to each other and Adam said as he held out his hand.
"My Lady". Red took his hand and Red entered through the threshold of her old home and remembered living here almost as if it were yesterday. Red held out her hands to Adam in a paw-like position as she said.
"May I?" Adam gently took her hands and removed one of the red gloves from her left hand. Once it was free he gently pulled it up to his lips as he gently kissed it and nuzzled her left hand with love and affection. He then turned to her right hand and removed that glove as well then tossed them right on top of his black biker gloves that were on the small dresser by the front door.
Adam quickly took Red in his arms and carried her bridal style up the steps and into the living room where she saw the mess he had made of her old home.
Records, books and old ruined equipment were scattered everywhere. Instruments hung side by side along the walls and some just laying around on the floor or some standing against the walls. Old record players and recording equipment set up around the room so that Adam could record his music or play it whenever he wanted to. It looked like a place for a packrat to hide all of it's garbage and never part with them.
"What the hell did you do to my house?" Red asked. Adam rolled his eyes then walked up to the couch and just dropped her right on it making her yelp. Red playfully glared at Adam to see what seemed like a small smile at the corner of his lips, probably the first time he's smiled ever since she left. He then sat down at the other end of the sofa and Red took a cautious dog crawl toward him to see if it was alright to get close.
He set himself comfortably and held out his hand for Red giving her an invitation to come and snuggle up to him. She first set herself up against Adam's upper body and leaned her head underneath his. Next she wrapped her arms tightly around his waist and cuddled deeply against him as far as she could go, wishing that their magic would bind their bodies into one so that she'd never have to part with him again. Once she was comfortable, Adam immediately wrapped his strong arms around her and embraced her so tightly that a normal human would've asked to be let go, but to Red she didn't even mind.
"Oh Red, my darling little Red. I've missed you".
"I've missed you to Daddy". Red whimpered as she nuzzled deeper into his neck inhaling as much of his scent as she could.
"Red, why did you leave? What happened to force you to leave me?" Red just couldn't answer that question to him. She didn't have the heart nor the courage to even speak of that anymore. She has already let so many people hear of it, but she refused to let Adam know because whether or not they were telling the truth, it could ultimately harm him and it'd be all her fault.
"It doesn't matter, I was young and I was stupid to even leave you. Can't we just leave it as that and just cuddle together?" Adam secretly knew she was hiding something but she was right, he had missed holding her in his arms and was dying to have that chance again and now here it was, and he never wanted that to go away ever again.
After 123 years, the Imprints Adam and Red were finally back together and they couldn't wish for anything more.
"But seriously Adam, I have missed you, and I'm sorry that I left you—do you forgive me?"
"I'm your father Red. While I am very, very disappointed in you, I will always forgive you, no matter what you do". He gave her a well deserved kiss on the temple something Red had been dying to have and has missed so much since she ran away.
At this point she didn't care if the cult would find out or not, all that mattered was that her and Adam were back together.
The two of them spent the rest of the night listening to Adam's music, talking about all that has happened since they were apart, and all that they had been up to and discovered on their own. Adam finally gained back some sparkle in his eyes thanks to Red and Red gained back some of the confidence and calmness from Adam that didn't want to make her blow her top at everything and everyone.
After awhile of talking and getting their strength by drinking some of the supplied blood Adam had gotten just recently, Red yawned exhausted from her traveling. She tried to stay awake but the dire need to sleep from exhaustion the traveling had on her was too great.
"Time for bed my little She-wolf". Adam stated as he gently picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. Adam then respectfully removed his daughter's clothes and put her in a nightdress long enough to cover herself up and he gently tucked her in the bed and laid down beside her and just observed her. He gently tucked away stray hairs behind her ears if they got in her eyes, he caressed her soft cheek to let her know that he was near and kept a watchful eye over her should she have any nightmares or trouble sleeping. She moaned tiredly and slowly tried to open her eyes but Adam cooed in her ear.
"Shhhh, sleep my little one. Sleep~". Red's eyes remained closed as she finally got a grip on his hand and wouldn't let go for anything else in the world. Adam wrapped his free arm around her and gently brought her close to him as he too soon fell asleep holding his daughter for the first time in centuries.
The next night after an eternity, Red had finally gotten Adam out of the house for more than just getting supplies. They walked around the abandoned streets of Detroit hooked to each other's hips as they walked together in the dead of night of Detroit. Hugged and bringing each other close so that they wouldn't ever part with each other again and giving each other nuzzles and kisses.
They would also go on drives in Adam's white vintage 1969 mustang. Just peacefully driving around the city looking at all the abandoned buildings that Red had once seen in their heyday until the economy crashed within the city practically making the city in ruins.
"So this is what came of Detroit, it's sad really to see such a city that once thrived with life, is now in ruins and practically abandoned".
"Indeed, it's like watching a time-lock photography of a beautiful flower as it grows from a seed, pushes it's way up and opens into an exquisite blossom. And then the flower begins to close, it shrivels and it fades, and crumbles to dust, and all in one single century". Adam stated poetically.
"Couldn't have said it better myself papa". Red wrapped her red cloak around her tighter and leaned up against her father's arm as he continued driving through the city.
"Do you believe that this city could rise up again?" Adam asked.
"Yeah, there's water here. However the Southern states are burning, this place will bloom—that is if people will stop being dicks and look back on this city and rebuild it".
"Always seem to have a bad view on the zombies, but I will agree that most have grown into ignorant and unintelligent creatures, there's only a handful of zombies that actually do something with the world".
"Yeah, and the music—oh god mainly about getting a girl laid, drugs, racism and sexism, I can deal with it up to a point, that is why I barely write any music for the artists of today, I only have like 3-4 people of today that I send my music to". Red ranted on.
"I actually have a few of those records of yours stashed in my private collection of records".
"How did you know which artists to buy though Adam? I've written for like hundreds of people?"
"I know my daughter's music better than anyone, they were the only thing making me stay alive even when I wanted to kill myself". At that statement, Red stayed silent and felt her stomach churn at the thought of Adam killing himself. She looked up at him and tried to hold in her tears as she took his free hand and held onto it as tightly as she could as she nuzzled his hand trying to take his mind off of his last statement and hopefully not lead to him asking her why she left—again.
For Adam would try to get a chance to ask Red why she left all those years ago, but everytime he asked her, she would quickly interrupt him and bring the topic into a 180 and ask about something different.
"Why don't we head home now? I've got a feeling someone is there waiting for us". Red stated trying to get Adam's attention and his thoughts on something else since none of them had said anything for literally 15 minutes. Adam agreed and soon turned the car around back to the house. Once they arrived, Adam and Red went up the stairs to see Daniel and Rose sitting on the couch looking at them.
Adam hadn't seen the ghost couple ever since he told them he had never wanted to see them again after they had kept Rd's whereabouts a secret.
"Adam, they were only following my orders when you found out they knew where I was at, they did want to tell you and help us get back together but I strictly told them not to, so if there's anyone you need to mad at and never see again, it's me". Red stated solemnly as she took Adam's gloved hand and held it as she looked down guilty. She felt him gently stroke her cheek with his biker gloved index finger and gingerly lifted up her chin and said.
"I was so worried that something had happened to you, when I found out they knew of your whereabouts I felt so betrayed. But now I see all I've done is break the pack even more because of my actions, I've hurt not only you and Khan, but your only friends ever since your turn," he then turned to the ghost couple and walked up to them and continued solemnly, "please forgive me Daniel and Rose". Rose slowly stood up and walked up to Adam with a blank, sorrow filled expression.
When he thought she'd slap him or scream at him, Rose softly smiled as tears fell down her face and she hugged him as tight as she could. Adam was stunned at first but then softly cracked a smile and hugged the ghost girl back with all his might.
He felt her gently stroke through his wild, untamed black hair then he felt a hand on his arm and turned to see Daniel. The Scottish male ghost smiled and as Rose and Adam released each other, Adam and Daniel hugged brotherly patting each other's backs giving each other a man to man hug as Rose and Red smiled at the two of them.
"Well it seems we've all made amends with each other and it seems the pack is once again together". The four of them turned to see John Watson and Khan standing by the doorway entrance into the living room with smile smiles planted on their faces. They both walked over to their four pack members and all united in a group pack hug.
The six of them had overtime truly become more than a cult and more than a gathering of ghosts, but made connections with each other like a pack of wolves. They each looked at each other as a sibling, lover, niece, uncle, father and daughter. The bond between the six of them was truly a force not to be reckoned with.
They may seem like freaks and weirdos to most people, but together they unite and would do anything to protect their family and there was no one that could stop them from doing so.
For they were the Imprint Pack.
A few days later after the reunion, Adam and Red were constantly together along with the brief visits from both ghost couple and detective Vampires. Seeing the sights, going out for walks, and when it came for Wolf's time to begin, Adam and Red would stay in the backyard of the house and let Khan bring them enough meat to sustain them until morning.
Shortly after Wolf's time Adam and Red were currently curled up together on the bed asleep when Red suddenly woke up from a nightmare about the cult finding out she was with Adam, a fight broke out and then she woke up to the sound of a gunshot.
She panted heavily as she looked down at Adam still sound asleep and softly breathing telling her that he was alive. She felt her heart clench knowing deep in her mind the cult was somehow watching her and probably by now they know she's here and are just waiting for the right time to shoot Adam. She nuzzled deep into Adam's bare chest as much as she could and finally started crying right in front of him, not being strong enough to take the pain any longer.
Adam awoke to feel wet drops on his chest and soft whimpering and sniffling. When he opened his eyes to see Red crying, his parental instincts immediately came out and he embraced his daughter comfortingly as he rubbed her back and whispered sweet nothings into her ear, hoping that it would calm her down. He gently rocked her softly as he brought her closer to him.
"Ohh Red, shhhh, I'm here darling, I'm here. What's wrong?" Red whimpered but shook her head not wanting to tell him what was wrong. "Come on darling, tell me. The one time I get you back and now suddenly you're crying in hysterics, please darling talk to me, I want to help you". Red softly sniffled and choked out.
"Hole me—just hold me—" Adam gratefully obeyed his daughter's wish and held her with all his might but not enough to bruise her but to show her he was there and that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Adam continued to rock her as he petted through her wild hair and giving her soft kissed on her temple and cheek to calm her down until finally she fell asleep from crying.
He was beginning to worry about his best girl because he could tell she's been keeping something from him as was everyone else. Everytime he'd ask her why she left, she'd change the subject and while he physically put on a stoic face and went with Red's decision to talk about something else, mentally he was bouncing off the walls in rage completely impatient with her not telling him why she'd left and what everyone had known and not him.
Soon he fell back asleep with a saddened Red in his arms.
A few days after Red's sudden breakdown, Adam had been keeping a careful eye on his girl especially when she slept afraid and worried that she might breakdown again. He had also been trying to get Khan to observe Red with his power to find out what she was hiding but Khan knowing that it wasn't his place to tell him, assured him that Red will come around and when she's ready, she'll tell him. Just to be patient with her.
As Adam was coming back with fresh blood supplies, Red was holding a pamphlet of some kind when Adam set his suitcase of contained O- blood, he asked her.
"What is it Red?"
"The club downtown is holding generation music night. Playing songs from the 50's up to at least the early 90's. Daddy can we go please, please, please, please, please!!!!" Red begged as she went up to him and clung onto him. Adam sighed and said.
"No darling, I'm sorry but we can't".
"Why?!" Red whined.
"Because I said so". Adam remarked back. It was then Daniel and Rose suddenly appeared and Daniel said.
"Hey, any of you interested going to the club for that Music generations thing?"
"I do, but Adam won't let us". Rose and Daniel whined out an "aww"
"Come on Adam it'll be fun!" Rose proclaimed.
"No". He stated bluntly as he now changed into his and Red's favorite robe as he now sat down on the chair right in front of his recording equipment. Red walked up to him and knelt down beside him and gave him the sweetest, heartbreaking, and adorable puppy dog face.
"Pwease daddy, I wanna go with you, pwetty pwease with sugar and O- on top?" She rested her head against Adam's leg and just looked up at him with her sad, golden fiery eyes which gave her an even more adorable puppy dog face, especially since now she was starting to softly whimper. Adam tried to resist the face but he couldn't help but fall for his daughter's adorable attempt to drag him to the club.
"Ohhhh—okay we can go".
"Really?" She stated hopefully. Adam softly smiled and nodded. Red softly shrieked and hugged him tightly repeatedly chanting out "thank yous" and "I love you daddy". Shortly after that Daniel, Rose and Red congaed into the bedroom to get ready chanting out "Adam's gonna take us out. Adam's gonna take us out". As soon as they reached the door and all got ready, as Red was putting on her gloves Rose said.
"Man Red I still can't believe you can do that to Adam like that".
"It's all the perks of being a Wolf pup. The puppy dog eyes always got him. And the whimper I just improvised cause I feared he wasn't gonna fall for it this time. Yeah, I've always got him wrapped around my finger". Rose and Red snickered as they high-fived each other then soon they were all ready.
Down in the city at the old smash club; Adam, Red, Khan, John, Rose and Daniel all sat in a table booth in the back but near the dance floor all either sitting or standing as they watched the humans all dance to Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer". Khan, Red, Adam and John having their sunglasses on to protect their sensitive eyes from the blazing lights that would come on every now and then to the beat of each song that would play.
Every now and again after a bit of dancing, someone would come up and either sing an original song from a time period, or pick their favorite cover of the song and sing that song.
Soon playing was Earth, Wind and Fire's "September".
"Oh my God, Red you have to come and dance with us for this song!" Rose exclaimed.
"Oh no Rose you know I—"
"Oh come on young lady!" Daniel proclaimed soon Red was dragged away by the two ghosts out of Adam's arm and placed on the dance floor with so many humans around her. Adam was at first nervous for her dancing around so many humans, especially since dancing gets their hearts pumping faster which meant faster blood flow, but when he saw Daniel and Rose dancing and in the end Red dancing like she was all by herself and not knowing she was around a horde of humans, Adam was surprised at Red.
"She's surely has changed hasn't she?" John asked Adam.
"Indeed, I never would've thought Red would be safe with a bunch of dancing zombies". Adam stated softly but he secretly smiled as he saw his daughter dancing and having a true smile on her face ever since she came here. As the song ended, everyone clapped and cheered for the coming back song of "September". Red, Rose and Daniel all went back to the table and Red went back to Adam's side and wrapped her arms around his neck and gently swayed front and back making him sway as well and he gently kissed her cheek making her smile again.
"So Red, are you responsible for most of these songs?" John asked.
"Not most of them John—all of them". Adam looked at her and she looked at him and nodded just as Redbone's "Come and Get your love now" started playing. Of course most of the younger people knew this song from probably watching the opening of the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy", they could thank Red for that because she sent a good playlist of the music the character Peter Quill could listen from his mother's mix tape and what could actually be playing in the movie.
Red leaned against Adam's shoulder as he leaned his head against hers and Red wrapped her arms around his shoulders gently tapping the rhythm of the song remembering all the dancing she and Nina would do with all these songs that she introduced her to as a young girl and the minor wild college parties Red and River would have when she would come home or she would visit River up at University.
"Hey Red, why don't you go up on stage and sing a song for us?" Khan dared her. Adam glared at Khan and snarled out.
"No!" Red gently patted her father's wild hair assuringly then Red said.
"I don't think I can, I haven't sung in awhile in front of people".
"But what about back in Tokyo?" John questioned.
"That's lip-syncing John, it's totally different!"
"Not when you sang your last piece that night we found you, just go on up there Red and we'll leave right after this so we don't draw attention to ourselves". Khan stated smartly. Red pondered then finally agreed otherwise she'd soon have Daniel and Rose nagging her to go on upstage and sing, even if they have to possess her to do it.
Red kissed Adam's temple then took off to submit her code name to the DJ while Adam grew worried for Red.
"Adam relax, once you see her on stage you'll never look at her the same way again". Adam kept his eyes on Red the entire time and looked at the zombies to make sure they wouldn't go anywhere near her after or before her piece. After "Come and Get your love now", Red soon appeared on stage with the microphone in hand and she saw all these people looking at her almost as if they were directly judging her.
As "Somebody to Love" by Queen came on with the choir, Red took a deep breath and began to sing her version of the song that she had heard was a good cover to and it easily matched her pitch and vocal range, plus she could go more crazy in dance if she wanted to than when she first submitted it to Queen.
As she sung the words, everyone began instantly cheering for her as she managed to slowly and surely break out of her shy streak and go crazy with the song. Removing her sunglasses and tossing them aside and ruffling her hair to make it go untamable as she sung and got the crowd on their feet singing.
Adam sat in awe of his little girl seeming to glow on stage as she sung her heart out and the crowd surely seemed to love her as well.
At the end of the song, the whole club cheered for her but the loudest cheer came from her table as she saw everyone clapping for her, but none of them were compared to when she saw her father clapping as he mouthed out.
'That's my girl!' Red smiled and left the stage and went back to her table as her pack cheered for her. John and Khan simply congratulated her normally, Daniel and Rose cheered in the 'yas gurl you owned them bitches!' While Adam simply held her in his lap and kissed her temple and embraced her and nuzzled her. Physically showing how much he was so proud of her and that he had never seen any show like it before.
Then true to Khan's word, the pack left for home and got ready for bed as it was almost getting light outside. Adam and Red were just getting into bed when Adam held her close and kissed her forehead and said.
"You were amazing back there".
"Thanks papa". Adam kissed Red's forehead one last time before the two of them finally fell asleep, unaware of someone watching them snuggle up for bedtime.
Far off in the Castle of Dracula, a roar was heard turning around from pacing was Ava. She snarled to the other female kneeling on the ground.
"You're sure!?"
"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes Sister". Ava snarled then hissed in the deepest, haunting, and gruesome voice a female could make.
"That little bitch is going to pay for going back on her word!!"
"Be still my darling Ava". She looked up to see Dracula sitting upon his throne with a cup of blood in his hand.
"But the She-wolf went back on her word! She promised to never go near Adam again!"
"And she won't, not after what we plan for them".
"Dracula, master I don't under—"
"A simple minded girl like you wouldn't!" Dracula snarled as he stood up. Ava just glared at him in shock then she suddenly appeared before her and choked her around her pretty little neck as he stated again, "Adam's frustration with her leaving will soon explode, if Red refuses to tell it will burst Adam like a volcano just waiting to erupt, then his anger will drive her away and then once they are apart, we will kill each and everyone of them starting with the She-wolf—one.....by....one". He then released Ava making her gasp and cough hardly as her fellow sister went up to her and tried to comfort her.
"Until then we stay out of the picture, until the time is right". Dracula stated to all of his Vampires that had gathered around the throne room as he smiled maliciously.
