Normally if a person wakes up from his fainted state, the scene present before him would consist of people who were previously patiently waiting for him to wake up and are now happy to see him in an un-giddy state. But my friends are far from being normal and therefore their way of waiting patiently means something like this....

"Cathy" I heard a small whisper in my right ear.

"Catherine" A relatively deeper but not that loud sound was heard by my left ear.

"Guys I'm telling yo-" A faint voice could be heard from a long distance.

"Shut-Up" The previous two voices cut off the distant voice

"Catherine, Just fucking wake up, I'm losing my patience now"

"Hey, Don't Swear" Another not too far standing person spoke

"Shut up Nick"

"Catherine!" A slight tug was sensed, on my blanket

"Cath" My hands were being shaken gently.

"CATHERINE" My shoulder were now being shaken violently.

Now that was more than enough to wake me up.

I shot up immediately with wide eyes, to find Aaron and Elena standing on either side of my....hospital bed and Nick sitting on a chair, not too far from the bed. And the only amusing thing about the whole situation was that Max was standing..not inside but outside the hospital room with the door locked.

"You guys are impossible!" I shouted but immediately regretted it because a little dizziness was still felt and shouting made it worse.

"You Ok, Cath?" Nick asked after standing up from the chair and walking towards me.Concern was clearly visible on his face.

"Yeah, I'm okay" I managed to speak with a small smile.

"What about you guys.How you feeling" I asked Aaron and Elena, as soon as I remembered the reason for me being in the present state.

"We're good. Thanks to you" Elena replied with a huge smile and engulfed me in a hug.

"Yeah, Thanks Catherine, We wouldn't be alive right now if it weren't for you giving 2 freaking Kgs of blood" Aaron exclaimed with a grateful expression.

"It's no proble-"

"No no Catherine it was a huge favor now ask us for anything, and I promise we will give that to you" Aaron spoke up with an impatient expression.

Hmm, what should I ask them for.....

Idea!

"You sure?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Damn sure" Elana said waiting for an answer

"Get me out of this hospital right now!"I demanded

"What No!, that's impossible how could you even ask for that." Aaron refused while shaking his head.

"You had 2 Kgs of blood removed from your body for god's sake Cath, you obviously need to stay in the hospital" Nick also refused

"Yeah for once he is right" Elena shrugged while glaring Nick

"So you're calling me a stupid who is never right?" Nick interrogated as he neared her

"I'm not calling you that, I'm just stating a true fact" Elena shrugged with a slight smirk

"Well then your fact is wrong, Cause I'm always right" Nick said while raising his hands

"No you're not"

"Yes I am"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"Yes"

"No!...No no no I meant Yes" Nick jumped as he realized he has been tricked.While Elena was endlessly smirking

"Umm guys, Can you at least open the door now" I heard the voice none other than Max's who was still locked outside the door.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming" Aaron stated as he walked towards the door and opened it.

After his glaring session with all three of the other friends Max's eyes softened as he approached me.

He sighed and asked, "How are you now?"

"I'm Ok, just feel a bit weak, that's all" I replied with a smile.

"And by the way, can anyone explain why Max was locked out of the room?!" I interrogated while looking at all three of my friends.

"Um hebfjoenefkmd" All three of them said different sentences in unison which made it hard to understand what they really were saying.

"Oh no!" Elena shrieked with her eyes wide and both her hands on her head

"I had an appointment at the salon today and I'm already-" She glanced at her watch "3 Minutes late"

"Oh right, and I've basketball practice, I'll have to dash too" Aaron exclaimed earning a knowing face expression from Nick.

"And umm me, I...have" He continued to think of an excuse "None of you two have cars right, I'll drop you off" He stated with a proud grin for his intelligent excuse.

Do these people think I'm dumb to not understand that they are clearly lying

"Bye Cath" All three of them waved in unison and went out.

"Stupid people" I muttered

"I know right" Max chuckled from the hospital chair he was sitting on.

"So...." I muttered again in an attempt to get rid of the awkward silence.

"So?" Max repeated with a confused expression

"Why were you locked outside the room?" I asked and internally grinned for coming up with something to talk about.

He shrugged "You needed rest and they were practically waking you up by beating you" I chuckled "So when I was attempting to back them away, they just pushed me outside the room and locked the door" He finished his explanation and then closed his eyes and rested his head at the top of the chair.

"Rough day?" I asked with which he opened his one eyes to reply with a laugh"You don't even know the half of it"

But then he opened both his eyes and sat straight "Oh and by the way your mother came to the hospital about an hour ago and I swear she was gonna kill me after she found out I was the one who extracted your blood but later on she left after Elena told her about the entire incident but not before giving me this" He said while shoving his hand is his pocket and taking a folded piece of paper out of his pocket.

I took the letter from him and hurriedly opened it.

I'm so proud of you Catherine, you saved your friends' lives by putting your own in danger.And I really wish I was there with you right now, but as you know I was having many problems with the main head of the hospital I'm working in. So to sort out these problems, I had to leave for New Jersey urgently.I'm really sorry, but on the brighter side I'll be gone for only 2 weeks. Nick will be there to take care of you..

If only you knew that he's way more unresponsible than me Mom, I thought before continuing the letter.

The money will be on the night stand and well Take care of yourself. See you soon.

"Ughhh" I groaned

"What happened" Max asked

"Nothing, My mom will not be home for the next 2 weeks, And I'll have to do all household chores, thats what happened" I sighed

He started laughing

"Anyways.." I interrupted his laughter.

"Hmm?" He asked with slight chuckling

"Can you get me outta here" I asked

"No" He replied in a serious tone

"Please" I whined

"Nope" He stated while closing his eyes and shaking his head

"Puh..leese"" I whined again with puppy eyes

"Nn..Uggh No" He glanced at my face and 

"OK, Okay Ill get you out of here"
