"Did we ever agree on who goes with me?" Sophie groaned, while her friends, their family, and her family were arguing which people would go to the meeting.

"It's literally five hours before the meeting. And we've already been fighting two. When is it going to stop?"

"....Whenever they decide 'Oh maybe we should have just let Sophie pick,'" Biana sighed.

"I don't think they ever will..." Sophie said. "And please don't dump this weight on me-"

"I think we've all agreed that Miss Foster should choose." Mr. Forkle said.

"URGHHHH!" Sophie's brain yelled.

"Um." Was what she actually said.

"I guess... Fitz? And Keefe. And-ugghhh. If I bring Fitz and Keefe then I probably can't stop myself from picking Biana and Dex and all the others! Ugh..." Sophie muttered.

"Or you could just bring me and ditch the Fitzter." Keefe said hopefully.

"Yeah, no. Just because you said that I'm picking Fitz. Sorry, loser," Sophie said.

"And I guess Tam. Because maybe he could send some shadow-y thingies at the Psiniopath or whatever if they threaten us or.... why would they? Ugh. I'm just picking Tam because he isn't making those unbearable whiny faces you guys are making." Sophie decided, relieved that the weight was now off her shoulders.

"It's not my fault my brother doesn't smile or anything! He's like a..." Linh trailed off, thinking of the right word.

"Robot?" Sophie offered.

"What's that?" Link asked, curious and confused at the same time.

"Aaaaand I'll explain after the meeting. And after the grownups stop giving me the What the heck look." Sophie replied.

"Well, use the few hours of sleep you have, even though I'm sure you kids won't sleep at all." Mr. Forkle dismissed, the grownups glittering away one after the other after they bid their goodbyes.

"We won't," Sophie promised.

"Am I the only one that's nervous?" Sophie asked nervously.

"Nope." Tam agreed.

"No." Biana sighed.

"Nah." Keefe, Sophie guessed, said.

"Who knows? Maybe they'll reveal something useful to us."

"And that leads us back to why the people who left the bombs never set them off. It has to have a reason or something. It's so... unnatural for someone who wanted to hurt the people in the school or destroy something. Maybe it's a sign. Or maybe it's a hint. Whatever it is, I haven't caught on yet. And probably you haven't either. And I'm thinking this is just a rambling now..." Sophie trailed off.

"Don't worry, I agree. Maybe we could figure it out at the meeting. I hope so. Even though I won't be going doesn't mean I'm not nervous. Maybe when you guys are there they'll distract you and us here with the meeting and blow up a bomb or something. Ugh, I am so not rocking the Don't make anymore more nervous than they already are act." Dex said, tailing off like Sophie.

"Well, I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow. Make the hours of sleep you guys have worth it. If you're not going to sleep, just... don't worry, okay?" Sophie asked, unsure of herself.

"Gee, you really sound like my dad." Fitz grumbled, unaware that everyone could hear him crystal clear.

After everyone bid their goodbyes, they each glittered away one after the other before all the friends were gone.

Sophie wasn't sure she could promised everyone that she didn't worry.

There were many things indeed to worry about.

Like, for instance, why the bombers never set the bombs off until days after they were found.

And why the Neverseen had requested the meeting because it was so out of the blue.

Lastly, and why the Neverseen hadn't reached out to them since a few weeks ago when the sent out the symbol.

Sitting down at her bed, Sophie was very tempted to pull on her eyelashes because it had been so long since she'd ever done so.

Sighing, Sophie pulled the covers over her head and wished that everything would be alright in a few hours.
