CHAPTER 9
Chapter 9
POV: Zayn
Harsh. Rejecting a drink is a sign that she REALLY doesn't like me.
Oh well, I've never let that stop me before why should I stop now?
I smirked as we walked to our flat. I noticed that Liam was looking at me funny. I quickly wiped the smirk off my face not knowing what had brought it up in the first place.
We were only at Starbucks an hour before Samantha said she had to go home.
She left with Sydney and Jessica right on her tail. Shaiann scowled at the thought of leaving but didn't want to be alone so left after saying bye to Harry in a dreamy voice.
Oh well we will have to go out again with her and the other girls before we leave the U.S.
{Samantha}
I let out a sigh of relief as we escaped the boys. Well, okay I escaped them where as in the rest were dragged away against their will, thanks to my warning stares they got the message and left without complaint.
"What the hell Sam?!" Shaiann yelled as she grabbed my shirt and turned me around. "Harry was actually into me and you just up and decide to leave?" She said her blue eyes burning into mine. She took deep breaths as she tried to calm herself.
"Yes, just because you don't like them doesn't mean that you should ruin our chances with them." Sydney said backing Shaiann up and stepped beside her. Jessica hung back not really picking a side.
I glared at both of my friends feeling my eyes shoot daggers, but then I softened. Wait. They thought the boys were actually into them... What idiots. I know I would probably regret saying this, but I had to tell them before they got in too deep.
I took a deep breath and shrugged Shaiann's hand off.
"Look at it from my perspective. Nothing ever goes well for me. Obviously I have the worst luck of ANYONE in the entire world. The one time we did a trust exercise someone dropped me, no cute dude ever likes me, I never win at drawings or board games or anything like that. Also, never in my life did i ever think i would meet famous people and I'm still not sure if I had dreamed it. Not to mention the first time I go to a concert I'm basically run over by and door and kidnapped by rich, famous, preppy dudes who I've never liked for the reason you guys are into them."
I take another breath to continue. "They're too good to ever want to be with fans like you. Or just low life people like me. Think about it. They get thousands and millions of fan mail everyday, they sign probably more autographs a day, and talk sweetly to maybe half those numbers. Even the half is a lot so the sweet act is a everyday disguise for them. Plus, when have you EVER heard of a famous person dating or marrying a fan? They're full of themselves because they know they can get ANY girl they want." I pause briefly, "They're like Barbie Dolls: perfect on the outside but on the inside they're hollow and would never care about any of us." I finish my fancy speech feeling a bit satisfied.
All three girls looked at her with blank stares and said nothing.
Shit, they're so mad they won't even talk. I thought. I prepared for a sharp rebuke, but none came.
I looked at them to see if their ears were spitting smoke, but was surprised to see that they were looking at me with sadness in their eyes.
This seriously never crossed their mind? How is this so shocking? I asked thinking they were feeling sorry for themselves.
Suddenly, they lunged forward and latched unto me. Not letting go. Woah what's with the hug? I thought.
"It is just to let you know we wouldn't drop you in a trust exercise." Jess said laughing. Shit I guess I had said that out loud.
{Liam}
I quickly started running towards the lads as quietly as i could. I had heard the whole thing.
So that's why she hates us...
We sound like jerks.

"But we aren't like that!" Niall protested as I finished telling them what Sam had said. I had finally got to the flat where the lads had already arrived.
I looked at him. "Aren't we though? We aren't Barbie dolls I'm positive of that, but we don't really pay attention when signing autographs. Or when meeting people. We only pay attention the the crazy ones." I pointed out.
Niall nodded hesitantly. "What if we tried to get closer to the fans? Pretend they are just regular lads like us?" He suggested.
Harry shook his head. "We can't do that without getting ourselves killed." He growled.
"No, I just happen to know a group of sane girls who would not kill us. What if we took them on tour with us to show other fans like Sam that we do pay attention to our fans and maybe convince her at the same time." Zayn said hopefully as he fixed his dark hair so it was back to being perfect.
Louis and Niall nodded in agreement.
I shook my head. "I would be fine with it, but Management would never go along with it." I said sadly.
Niall shrugged, "You never know unless you ask." He said with his thick Irish accent.
