CHAPTER 3
Chapter 3
{POV: Samantha}
"Jessica?!" Louis gasped in disbelief
Great, what did Jessica do THIS time? I thought scornfully.
I hauled myself off of the couch ignoring the spots in my vision.
I came up behind Louis who still had his mouth hanging open.
"Um, do you two like- er know each other?" Sydney stuttered from beside Jessica.
Jessica immediately dropped her gaze to the ground, silently studying her more interesting shoes.
"Ye, we do!" Louis grinned and started bouncing up and down.
Jessica groaned, "long time no see." She continued to stare at her shoes.
"Hello! Sorry to brake up the reunion, but my head is still bleeding!" I brake into the awkward moment.
My neck was starting to get damp again. Shit. I thought and tried to stop it with my hand.
Zayn came up beside me smirking. "Yes, her majesty needs a doctor." He sneered.
It took every ounce of my self control not to kick him where it really hurt. That would wipe the smug look off his face.
"Right, I'll call." Niall quickly volunteered sensing that the conversation was getting heated.
He grabbed his phone and started punching in numbers.
Meanwhile, Sydney was pestering Jessica on how she knew Louis.
I rolled my eyes, but I didn't deny the fact that I wanted to know too.
{POV: Jessica}
"Tell me! Tell me!" Sydney squeaked bouncing around me.
I rolled my eyes and noticed Louis looking at me expecting me to explain.
Of course I am the one to do it. I thought scornfully.
"Well, we uh- we knew each other in High School and had also gone to the same Elementary School." I said all in one breath to Sydney knowing Samantha wasn't very far away and could hear.
"Bloody hell, how come I was never told this!" Sydney screamed at me, but despite her anger she beamed.
"That's not near as bad as I thought it was." Samantha hissed at me as she limped over. "When you were looking at your shoes I thought you guys had a 'past' or something." She said relieved.
I looked down at the ground again knowing they would be able to read my eyes if I looked at them.
In truth, we did have a past. But I wasn't about to tell my friends that. It would make things way awkward. It's bad enough that I suck at acting and Louis is great at it. Not to mention I've known my friends long enough that they could probably read my mind.
Louis. I sincerely believed that I would never see him again. I never WANTED to see him again.
He-- nope not going to think about it. It's in the past and it's over. Right?
Right. I looked up at Samantha who had narrowed her eyes at me. I plastered a smile on my face quickly.
Samantha's golden eyes shimmered for a moment before she flipped her wildly curly hair and turned around.
Shit. There is no fooling her. She wasn't gonna let me forget it either. She's too smart for her own good.
