CHAPTER 1
Author's note:
I apologize in advance.
This is my very first "story" in my life and I'm pretty sure I suck.
Alot of this story is true except for the One Direction part, but the details are disturbingly true.
So, be gentle when criticizing...
So yeah, I'll stop babbling now.
Hope you enjoy!

CHAPTER ONE
"OMG arn't they dreamy?" My best friend squeaked staring at the poster her eyes clouding like the 5th time today. I rolled my eyes inwardly. Ugh, when does this end? I sighed plastering a fake smile onto my face.
"Mhmm yes, of course Sydney." Was my required answer. "Aw come on Ginger you could at least act a bit more excited." She whined pouting. I widened my grin and pretended to jump up and down. "Better?" I asked smugly. She glared at me before flipping her blondish hair over her shoulder.
I dragged her by the arm to the back of winding line to get into the concert. She let out a growl for pulling her away from the poster. She grabbed a pinch of my fiery red hair and pulled it out of my head. I squeaked in pain and slugged her softly in the arm. She pouted fake hurt.
One Direction was Sydney's favorite band by far and she never let me forget it. She constantly was shoving videos, pictures, and stories in my face. For her 19th birthday I, being the most awesome friend I am, got her tickets to their concert in Chicago. There were two tickets meant for her and her mom, but she suggested for me to go instead. I agreed hesitantly. I soon came to regret it. Thank the Lord we lived in Indiana and we didn't have to take a plane.
To my friend's chagrin I wasn't a huge fan of One Direction. I was into nerdy music. Like older songs my mom made me listen to when I was a kid and opera occasionally (Mostly Phantom of the Opera). Plus hugely into musicals.
The screams and noise was deafening. If I hadn't known any better I would've thought someone was being murdered because there was also crying. Sydney was among the screaming ones. She yanked on my arm a few times noticing I was zoning out. "Look!" She screeched into my ear. Pointing and jumping at the same time. I looked up to see five figures walking into the arena where the concert was to be held. Girls started screeching out to them, trying to get their attention. Loud noises make me dizzy so naturally I swayed beneath Sydney's grip.
"Ginger! Don't pass out! They ARE pretty hot though arn't they?" She grinned widely thinking I was getting dizzy from the famous people. I rolled my eyes at her lack of concern and shrugged. She glared at me, but was distracted when the line inched forward a tad. The screams escalated, if that was even possible.
----------------------------
Apparently it was possible. By the time we got inside screams pounded against my skull threatening to crack it. Sydney tugged at me to get us moving through the crowd to our seats. We had front row seats. What the hell was I thinking. Here all the screaming girl's sound came forward to us. Therefore making it even louder.
I immediately sat down in the leather stadium seat seeing spots. Sydney tried to haul me up again, but I wouldn't budge. She sighed and looked up to the stage no more that 10 feet in front of us. Her eyes got wide and lit up like Christmas lights. I saw what she was staring at and grimaced.
The boys had bounced on stage and there was so much screeching I'm almost positive I blacked out for a moment.
"Hello Chicago!" I highly accented boy yelled to the crowd as they went insane. It was the boy with the curly hair. I could never remember their names. He grinned at the crowd.
Music started to pulse from the instruments behind the bouncing boys. They clapped to the beat. I leaned up to Sydney. "What song is this?" I hissed to her not knowing ANY of the songs. Sydney's mouth gaped open in disbelief. "It's What Makes You Beautiful. Duh!" She groaned clearly disapointed in me. I shrugged not really bothering to remember any of the names titles.
-Dude with brown hair-
You're insecure,
Don't know what for,
You're turning heads when you walk through the door,
Don't need make-up,
To cover up,
Being the way that you are is enough,
-Curly haired dude-
Everyone else in the room can see it,
Everyone else but you,
-All?-
Baby you light up my world like nobody else,
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed,
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell,
You don't know,
Oh oh,
You don't know you're beautiful,
If only you saw what I can see,
You'd understand why I want you so desperately,
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe,
You don't know,
Oh oh,
You don't know you're beautiful,
Oh oh,
That's what makes you beautiful
All the girls in the audience was singing along. Well, that is apart from me. This song was too cheezy. I groaned at the cracking of voices as the girls belted the song. I had to admit though. It looked awfully difficult for the boys to jump around a stage while singing perfectly. Bloody hell I did NOT just think that. They are not perfect. They are selfish, fake, preppy jerks. Right?
-----------------------
Sydney jumped up and down in circles around me. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She squeaked. I shrugged and sighed. I guess this trip wasn't a total waste if she was happy.
We were walking out of the arena after the concert. Sydney was humming one of the songs as reached to my pocket for my phone. My heart dropped. It was gone. "Shit!" I muttered. "Sydney!" I barked to snap her out of her musical trance. "I dropped my phone I think on the seat in the arena." I said heart pounding. "Okay go get it then." She said not really caring.
I hated not having my phone. I had seen too many horror movies where chicks get picked up and murdered because they ask strangers for help because they don't have a phone.
"I'll be back. Wait here" I quickly spun around to the entrance that was less than 3ft away. I went up to the security dude dressed in bright yellow. He was burly and scary. "I dropped my phone in there. Can I go get it?" I said nervously.
The man rolled his eyes and nodded quickly opening the door to let me in. I raced to where we had been sitting during the show and spotted the sleek black object under the seat. I stuffed it in my bra this time certain not to lose it. That's the last time I ever where skinny jeans to a concert. I told myself sternly.
I looked around the arena. It was huge. I couldn't remember which entrance I had come in. I got out my phone. The screen illuminated the no signal sign. Damn you AT&T. I quickly shuffled through the seats to the nearest exit sign praying it was the right one.
Cold air rushed in when I opened the door and slipped out. Nope. This wasn't right at all. I turned around to go back. I tugged at the door. It was locked. I glanced at my phone again. Still no signal. I looked where I was. It was an empty ally way that was beside the arena. Of course this is the door I'm drawn to. I sigh and walk into the middle of the clearing searching for a signal.
Suddenly I hear a almost silent moaning in the distance. The sound gradually grew into a low screaming and was getting closer. I looked around to see a group of girls charging towards me from the street. Oh good. I found the street.
I looked behind me curious what they were running to. Shit. There, slipping out of the exit I had come out of, was the blondie dude from the band. What the hell is he doing here? I walked towards the running girls. Their screeches growing louder by the second.
I thought better of it and turned back around quickly shuffling the opposite way towards the blondie. I stopped in my tracks. There is no way I'm making contact with him. The girls were less then 10 yards away. I bolted to the other side of the alley.
The blondie dude was trying to get back through the exit which was, of course, locked. The girls had reached him and immediately wrenched him from the door. They started ripping at his shirt. As much as I hated the blonde dude, it looked like it hurt.
I shook my head in disbelief at what I was about to do. I skidded around the mob and started pounding on the exit door. "Security!" I screeched at the door. Nothing happened. I turned to the blonde, but he seemed to be buried under the screaming girls. I saw a flash of blue eyes make eye contact for a couple of seconds before disappearing again. I pounded on the door harder. "Help!" I screamed louder over the other voices.
Finally, I heard a rustling behind the door and it swung open knocking me into a crazed fan who pushed me onto the cement knocking my head on the sidewalk edge. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and a dampness started to spread down my neck.
I struggled back to my feet quickly as I saw the girls start to retreat from the yellow security dudes. I silently cursed myself for getting up. I started to sway and the pain in my head grew sharper and harder to bare. I toppled to the ground fighting to keep consciousness.
The last thing I heard was the shouting of security guards in the distance and a soft irish accent. "Thanks." It whispered obviously pained. The world went black.
