[ barry's pov ]

"What're you talking about?" Oliver questioned, staring right at Clark.

"Clark, it's us." I spoke up, "Barry and Oliver."

"Oh, I know who you are." He stepped closer, "Your confusion lies with me."

"Deegan." Oliver put it together, "The Monitor gave you the book back?"

"And showed me how to really use it." He chuckled.

"You can't just write yourself as a hero." I call out, "It doesn't work that way."

"Doesn't it, though?" He questioned, "You were struck by lightning. I was given the book by a higher power. Both random acts of chance. But this, this is my destiny. So much more than becoming the Flash was ever yours."

"People don't become heroes because of circumstance." My jaw clenched, "They become heroes in spite of circumstance."

"You're just a cheap knockoff." Oliver comments, just to piss him off.

"Oh, I'm anything but cheap." He scoffed, "And just wait till you see what other fun changes I've made. To your family, your friends. There is no safe harbor for you."

"This is no longer your world." The lasers shot out of his eyes, hitting the crane behind us, then stomping on the ground, sending us flying back, "It's mine!"

"Hey-" Oliver looked down at the gun between us, muttering, "I have an idea."

I nod, passing him the gun, stumbling to my feet with him, as he aimed the gun right at Deegan.

"Idiot, I'm bulletproof." The words seethed through his mouths due to what he thought was Oliver's stupidity.

"I know." Oliver shot the wires, the crane leaning back and forth, ready to fall onto a group of people many feet away from us, screams of fear leaving their mouths.

I swallow, "You wanna be Earth's hero? Save the children or stop us."

"Your choice, Superman." Oliver exclaimed, Deegan letting out a huff through his nose, flying off to go catch the crane from hurting those people.

Oliver and I took this as our chance to run for it, as we did, slowly stopping at some alley, hiding behind a truck, as I swallowed back a gag, my voice dropping heavy, "Being bad makes me feel bad, man."

"The crane gag was harmless." Oliver breathes, looking around for cops, "It would've landed in an empty parking lot."

"Still, man. I don't know. Just doing something like that on purpose,-" I could barely hold myself up, as I gagged, "I think- I'm gonna puke."

"I-" I gag, only to swallow back once more at the sounds of police sirens, police cars rushing right past us, "No, I'm okay, I'm okay."

"We need to find out how extensive this reality-change is, and we need to get off the streets." Oliver pats my back, then starts to run the opposite direction the cop cars went in, "Come on."

"I can't get anything coming up, I can't-" I follow him, retching, "Wait up, I have a plan-"

-

"Okay, we get Cisco, breach to Earth-38, find real Superman." I instruct as we walked up the steps in the building.

"That's the plan." Oliver nods, following me.

"As long as this Cisco's willing to help us. The last alternate version of Cisco I met was not super-helpful." We come to a stop in front of what was Cisco's apartment, 1A, "Who knows how he's been rewritten this time?"

I open the door, stepping inside with Oliver, only to be knocked into something that wasn't Cisco Ramon's apartment. We stood on some sort of silver platform, space surrounding us, the Monitor stood in front of us, "Gentlemen. It's time we talked about your destiny."

"Must confess my interest is piqued. You possess neither power nor abilities, yet still managed to outwit an opponent with the powers of a super man." He exclaimed, looking at us.

I spoke up not so relevantly, "It's just one word- Superman."

"What is this?" Oliver questioned, "If you're testing us, then let us get back to it."

"Oliver Queen, a man who channels his hubris and anger and calls it strength." Monitor stepped closer, "Are you truly that eager to die?"

"No, not eager." The Monitor tried to read off his facial expression, "But willing, ready to. Good. There might be hope for this universe yet."

I inhale, "If that's supposed to be a pep talk, I've had better."

"Self-sacrifice alone will not see you through this trial. Survival will only be found by knowing your true self, or this world will be doomed, like all the others." The Monitor stares right at me as he spoke.

"Okay, that's enough." Oliver fixed his jacket, and suddenly, we were right back outside of the door of the apartment.

"Well, that was very glass-half-empty." I breathed out.

"We need to find Cisco." Oliver told me.

"Okay, well, if us good guys are bad guys, stands to reason that our good-guy friend is now a bad guy-" I trail off.

"Sure. You're CCPD." Oliver mentioned, "Where do criminals hang out in this city?"

-

The strong aroma of alcohol filled my scent as Oliver and I walked through the bar, people slowly backing away from us as I mutter to Oliver, "Are they all afraid of us?"

"Go with it." He mutters back, as we continued to make our way through.

"This is a terrible idea." I look at him.

He looks at me, "You keep saying that."

"And yet, here we are anyway." I roll my eyes.

"We need allies and resources." He mutters to me as we get to the front, the bartender looking right up at us.

He scoffs in delight, "Oh, my God, the Trigger Twins."

A smirk takes up my lips, as he laughs shamefully, "Sorry, I'm just a huge fan of your criminal history. You guys are my heroes. Well, not heroes. Legends."

"Did you just say the Trigger Twins?" An all too familiar voice fills my ears, the sound of heels coming closer catches my eye, my wife, Zee Allen, walking right behind the counter, stood next to the bartender.

She was dressed in something I would never see her wear now. Her hair was curled and medium length, matte dark red lipstick painted perfectly on her lips, a slim cropped black v neck shirt on her upper body, cleavage slightly out, her hands in the pockets of the well fitted black cargo pants, a circle chain belt locked in the belt loop, her belly button piercing glistening in the light, black heeled ankle boots on her feet to finish the look.

"Oh man-" I mutter, eyeing her, Oliver stood next to me, in complete shock.

Her eyebrow arched, a smirk falling onto her red lips, her eyes glued to me, "Damn."

The bartender looked at her, "Seriously? The Trigger Twins come into your bar and the first thing you do is check one of them out?"

Oliver clears his throat, as I pursed my lips hard to hold back a smirk, my eyes repeatedly raking up and down her.

"Can I get you guys something?" Zee questioned, looking at the both of us.

"Apparently, we need allies and resources." I comment, looking right at her.

Oliver leans in, "We're looking for Cisco Ramon."

"You mean the boss?" The bartender asked from beside Zee.

"What type of business do you have with my guy?" Zee chews on a piece of gum, crossing her arms.

"Your- guy?" I stammer, staring at her.

Her eyes trail over to where Cisco was seated, Oliver and I following, looking right at him.

She sighs, waving her hand, walking towards him, "Follow me-"

She fell into the seat next to him, Oliver and I stood in front of the table he sat at as he counted money, Oliver speaking up, "We need to talk."

"Make an appointment with my assistant." Cisco looked up, "I should have an opening around- go screw yourself."

"Cisco, we need your help." I spoke up, staring at him and Zee.

"Listen." He folded his hands, "I don't know who you think you are. But around here, people call me Mr. Ramon."

I turn to Zee, "Zee-"

Before Zee could speak, Cisco wrapped an arm around me, "Mrs. Ramon, to you."

"Mrs. Ramon-" I repeat under my breath, jealously sparking up within me.

"You got a problem there, Mr. Ramon?" James Olsen's voice fills my ears, as he tuned in.

"Case in point." Cisco said, "Jimmy, I think the Pet Shop Boys here need an education in how things work around here."

"I don't think that should be a problem." James exhales, a few men backing him, "They don't call me Superman's worst pal for nothing."

"Okay, look we don't want any trouble." I spoke up.

Oliver continued, "We just have a business proposal for Mr. Ramon."

"Business proposal." Cisco repeated, "I'm gonna pass."

Zee finally voiced her thoughts, her eyes connecting with mine, her voice low, "He likes watching his people put a beating on other people."

"So, I guess we got that in common." James cracks his knuckles.

"We've got this, right?" I quietly question to Oliver.

Oliver whispers back, "Totally."

And we were both wrong, as we were being tossed around like rag dolls. James and his men threw us into a table, it breaking, glass crushing under us, the both of us groaning as we hit the ground.

"Is now an okay time to ask for a selfie?" The bartender from before asked.

I scoff as Oliver and I slowly got back onto our feet, despite the pain. James pulled out some sort of weapon, ready to kill us right there.

"Stop, stop, stop-" Zee's loud shout makes James freeze, as her heels clicked against the hardwood floor, stood on the top step, "Jimmy, what are you thinking?"

"I don't know what you're implying on, Mrs. Ramon-" James began.

Zee cut him off, "What, so you're gonna kill them right now? In my bar- in front of all these people? Gary's still cleaning up from the last mess you made, Clockwork Orange."

James stayed still, Cisco coming by her side.

"Do 'em out in the alley." She ordered, the words seething right through her gritted teeth, her eyes flashing with regret and shamefulness.

"All right, come on." James grabbed onto Oliver and I, staring to pull us out, "Let's go."

"Wait, wait!" I shout, giving it one more shot, "I knew your brother- Dante!"

"Stop." Cisco spoke up, James stopping once more, keeping his grip on Oliver and I, "How do you know Dante?"

"It's a long story." I admit, "If he were here, he'd tell you to listen to our proposal."

"James, let em go. I want to hear what they have to say." Zee ordered, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I only take orders from Mr. Ramon-" James started, which only seemed to piss Zee off.

She shot him a wicked smile, walking over to us, her eyes glued to James. Her stare is hard, before he completely changed, a high pitched scream leaving her lips, sending James flying, his back hitting the wall.

"Well, Mr. Ramon doesn't have a sonic scream." She steps away, her eyes lingering with mine, before walking back over to Cisco.

"Clearly, Deegan changed a lot more than just making us the bad guys." Oliver muttered, eyeing what had just happened.

"Well, what is it?" Zee questioned, slipping her hands into her pockets.

I whisper to Oliver, "What's our proposal?"

Oliver looked at Zee and Cisco, "How'd you like to get rid of Superman?"

-

"All right, I've got ledgers to keep and miles to go before I sleep, so talk fast." Cisco set down his glass filled of alcohol, Zee's stare hard on me as she was already seated in a chair, after they had brought us into a separate room.

"Right." Oliver nods, "But first, we need to know if you can vibe."

"Can I vibe?" Cisco questioned, knocking over stuff off his desk.

"Teleport." I nod, "Open a breach. You can still do that, right?"

"Rhetorical question." He pours himself more alcohol, "How do you think I got into all those bank vaults?"

"But you, you didn't know that." Zee spoke up, looking right at me, "You came in here not knowing if he could do what you thought he could do. That's very risky."

"We're kind of desperate." I admit, looking between them.

"Please keep giving me more reasons to not do business with you." Cisco remarks.

"All right, listen. You could use your powers for so much more than breaking into bank vaults."

"Go back to the part about taking down Super-dick." Cisco spoke, "That's the part I wanna hear."

"We're gonna get to that." Oliver looks towards me.

"For now, I could teach you how to use your powers to get to a whole different Earth." I use this as bait.

"A whole different Earth." Cisco repeats, "Tell me more."

-

"Oh, thank God- we're here." I immediately say, after finally landing in the Fortress of Solitude, with Oliver, Zee and Cisco.

"Yeah." Oliver got up, "Only took 17 tries."

"Oh, I see." Cisco spoke, "You're a comedian."

Cisco turns to me, "Hey, guess what. Your friend is a comedian."

"Still Barry?" Clark asks, looking at Oliver.

"Oh, no." Oliver shook his head as we gestured between the both of us, "We-"

"So it's fixed." Clark understood, stood next to Lois, "That's great."

"Well-" I began, Oliver shaking his head.

"Oh, no. Kara?" Clark looked at Cisco.

"Mr. Ramon." Cisco corrects, "Am I supposed to believe this guy is Superman? What, did you get him off the street? You don't even look like him."

"Hey, uh, what's this?" Cisco touched something, a huge light beaming.

"Yeah, you, you really shouldn't touch that." Lois crossed her arms.

"Hey, you could throw a party with this thing." Cisco comments, "Get some party favors. You know, I know a guy."

Zee turns to him, "Why did I marry you?"

"Oh man-" Clark stared at me, "They're married?"

I huff, "Look, everything is back to normal. Well, not everything."

"Where's Kara?" He instantly asked.

-

"He's changed all of Central City." I explain, "Maybe even the whole world. Everybody thinks he's you, and we're bad."

"I mean, I am bad." Cisco commented.

"Bottom line, Kara is nowhere to be found." Oliver set out straight.

"If we get the book back, we should be able to rewrite reality again." I inhale, crossing my arms.

"Yeah? And how you gonna do that?" Cisco spoke up, "You got a magic pen lying around somewhere behind these ice walls?"

Zee rolls her eyes, looking away from him, as Clark crosses his arms, "It's not a pen. It's just the mind. I've encountered books like this before. The author writes things into existence through sheer force of will. But changing the story comes at a cost."

"Do you have any idea where the book is?" Lois questioned.

"If I were him, I'd keep it somewhere secure enough to also hold a Kryptonian." I looked between them all.

"Easy." Zee finally, quietly spoke up, "Star Labs. That place is under lock and key."

"I did time there once." Cisco commented.

"Hey." Oliver lightly hit his arm, "So did we."

"We did." I nod.

"What did you do? Did I say you could touch me?" Cisco points at Oliver, "Did I say he could touch me? I missed that part."

"I have to go." Clark looked at Lois.

Lois looked at Clark, "You have to go."

I take notice of Zee stepping away from everyone, and Cisco messing with his toothpick.

"Give me a minute-" I told Oliver, as he gives me a nod.

I made my way over to where Zee was, her hands in her pockets.

I question, "Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah," She looked up quick, biting down on her bottom lip, "Yeah- I'm fine."

"You always bite down on your bottom lip when something's bothering you." I quietly say, looking at her.

"How- would you know that?" She instantly stood biting down on her bottom lip, looking away.

"You gonna tell me what's wrong or not?" I question, stepping closer to her.

"I told Cisco I wanted to help with this whole- getting rid of the Superman thing, and he lashed out on me." She looked down at her feet, "Lately, I have no idea why I married him."

"Well, I wish you knew you never married him." I mutter under my breath.

"What?" She looks at me with slight wide eyes.

I purse my lips, mentally screaming st myself for letting that slip.

"You don't even know me." She stared at me, turning away, starting to walk away.

I blurt out, "Pluviophile."

She stops in her tracks instantly, looking back at me, "Where did you hear that?"

"From you." I admit, looking at her, "A lover of rain; someone who finds joy and-"

"-peace of mind during rainy days." Zee quietly finishes for me, staring at me.

"You had just turned 17 when you told me about that word. You said your mother mentioned it when you were younger, and it stuck with you, because you were that person." I explained, "The only one in the family who went out when it was thunder storming outside. The only one who enjoyed the sight and scent of rain."

"So- maybe all this rewritten reality crap is true," She began to consider, "Who the hell was I to you that you have any idea about that?"

"My wife." I quietly said.

"Your- wife." She repeats.

I sigh, "This reality- isn't right. You're not married to him- you're not a bad guy- you're not what I'm looking at right now."

"What am I, then?" She whispers, staring at me.

"Someone who cares about life. Someone who would give her life to save someone she cared about- someone who would sacrifice herself to save the people of the city. A Team Leader, a damn well good one. An amazing wife, that will speak up for what she thinks isn't right, and will always be there for me when things don't go so well." I went into depth, "What I have with you, I don't want with anybody else. And I'm not letting a switched reality destroy that."

She breaks eye contact, "She seems nothing like me."

"I saw the look you had on your face when you told James to kill us off in the alley." I exhale, "This isn't you."

-

"Hi. Nice suit." Clark remarks after we all jump through a breach, looking at Deegan, "Doctor, can I have a word please?"

"Well, that's my cue." Cisco grabs Zee's arm, "We're out."

Zee pulls her arm back, "No-"

"What?" Cisco looked back at her.

"I'm staying." She stepped back.

"You ladies have fun." He opens the breach, jumping right through, leaving Zee.

I look at Zee, "Are you sure you wanna-"

"I wanna help." She looks up at me.

John turns, throwing a punch at Oliver, as Killer Frost stepped up, throwing ice daggers right at us. Zee steps in front of us, smirking, blowing her a kiss, a sonic wave destroying all of the daggers, shattering them into pieces.

"That's new-" Kara takes more, staring at Zee.

Oliver turns, opening the elevator, John pushing him inside. Zee uses her sonic scream to send Killer Frost right into the elevator with them, Killer Frost's attention quickly diverted to Oliver.

"Go get the book-" Oliver yelled, John pushing him into the wall, punching him.

"Yup-" I gave him a thumbs up quickly, the elevator door shutting, as I turned, grabbing Zee's arm, "Come on-"

I halt, my eyes landing on Alex Danvers, "Alex, you're here. What are you doing here?"

She quickly pulled me into a headlock, a grunt leaving my lips, "A badass in every reality. Got it."

"No, no, no." Kara quickly said, "It's okay. He's not actually bad."

"No?" Alex questioned.

"No, he's fine." Kara told her.

"No-" I nod, "No, I'm good."

She lets go of me, "I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine." I nod. "Badass. It's fine."

"Where would Deegan, um- Superman keeps something valuable?" Kara instantly asked.

"Anything of importance to him, he keeps in a place called the Fortress of Solitude." Alex nods, "I'll take you there."

"I just came from the Fortress of Solitude." I huff, as Zee, Kara and I follow her.

Alex lead us into the Time Vault, Kara punching it open, as I spoke up, "This isn't a fortress of anything. This is the time vault."

"It's unlocked." Kara stares at the book, walking over to it instantly as we followed.

"So- this is the book that's been put into the wrong hands-" Zee said from beside me.

"All right, well, how does one go about rewriting reality?" I question, looking between them.

"Well-" Kara began, opening the book, her eyes widening, it being too much for her, gasping as she shut it back closed.

"You must still be weak from The Pipeline." Alex pointed out.

"Are you okay?" Zee questioned.

"I don't know how Deegan did it." Kara exhales deeply.

Alex spoke up, "Well, can I suggest that whatever it is you need to find out, we do far away from here?"

"Clark knew how to do it." I mentioned.

"I'll get this to him." Kara grabbed the book, rushing out.

Zee, Alex and I start to follow behind, only to stop at the end of the hall, due to a few of Deegan's guards standing right in front of us.

Zee lets out another sonic scream, this being louder than the others, the few guards sent flying back, knocked out the minute they hit the wall.

She looks up, a blue, whiteish light cascading around us, slowly circling us one by one, our gases following it.

I look down, as I was dressed in my Flash suit, the electricity sparking within me. I looked back at Zee, now changed into the outfit she was in when we were at ARGUS, the red lipstick disappearing from her lips, as her eyes shining crystal white.

The light comes together and fades into the elevator, a ding sounding out the room, the elevator opening up, Oliver dressed in his Green Arrow suit, dropping John and Killer Frost onto the ground, knocked out.

I grin, nodding at him, rushing out, standing by Kara, the same flash of light coming out of the Book of Destiny, held by Clark, building changing around us as I spoke up, "He's doing it."

"Yeah-" Kara smiles, who was dressed in her Supergirl suit.

Suddenly, a strong arm away around my neck, my back hitting someone's chest, my hands gripping onto the person's arm.

Kara instantly shot her heat vision at him, only to hit back with the same thing, a few moments later, Kara backing down due to it being too much for her.

Deegan threatened, "Make him close it, or I snap his neck."

"No!" Oliver shouted, now also on the field.

"Then your friend dies." Deegan told him.

Oliver aimed an arrow right at him, "Not if I kill you first."

"Oliver, don't." I quickly said, "Not to save me."

Oliver stared at me as I spoke, "You don't have to do this. You don't have to channel your darkness. You can overcome it. You can be different. You can be better. Maybe- that's it. Maybe that's the Monitor's test."

Deegan pushes me away, using a thunderclap to catch us all off guard, Clark dropping the book, Deegan quickly grabbing it and flying away.

-

"What's happening?" Zee questioned, her and Kara entering the cortex, the familiar blue, whiteish light surrounding us, circling around the building over and over.

"Deegan must be rewriting reality again." Oliver held his bow behind him.

"Or destroying it." Clark corrected.

"There might be a way to slow him down." I suggest once we all group up in the center, "We literally slow down time."

The look on Oliver's face causes me speak up again, "Come on, that's got to be like only the fourth most crazy thing you've heard in the past three hours."

"How do we slow down time, Barry?" Kara asked.

"If Supergirl and I travel around the globe in opposite directions at just over mach 7, we should be able to create enough centrifugal force to slow the Earth's rotation." I went more in depth.

"And everything else." Kara nodded.

"Rip the book out of Deegan's hands, and everything goes back to normal." Oliver pieced together.

"We can do this." Kara nods towards me, as we both turn, starting to head out.

Clark blurts out, "You both die."

Kara and I instantly turn back, looking at Clark, Zee and Oliver's attention diverged towards him also.

"When I opened the book, I watched both of you die, doing exactly what you're talking about." Clark explained, the look on his face showed that he was dead serious, "If it's in the book-"

"It's destiny." Oliver stepped closer, "I believe Clark."

"There has to be another way- you can't-" Zee was left speechless, her eyes falling on me, the look on her face killing me on the inside.

"We have to try something." Kara stared at them.

Zee's stare stayed on me, "Barry-"

"Hey, I love you- so much." I hugged her tight, then looked down at the broken look on her face, "But- we have to do this, okay?"

"Please- no-" Zee's eyes start to fill up with tears, "There has to be some other way-"

"I love you." I kiss her head, letting go of her, looking over at Kara.

Kara looked at me, guilt flashing over in her flashes due to Zee's reaction, "You ready?"

"Yeah." I nod, letting out a breath, running off as Kara took flight.

-

[ oliver's pov ]

"Kara-" Clark called out, but it was too late, Kara and Barry already gone.

Zee lets out a shaky breath, covering her mouth quickly, "Oh my god-"

My eyes scan the look on her face, it being one that didn't sit well with me.

The thought of losing her husband, not it being a chance, but destiny, completely crushed her. The look on her face was as if someone had taken her world and destroyed it right in front of her.

The thought of losing two people that meant a lot to all of us.

The thought of losing my best friends, gave me uneasy feeling.

Clark's expression showed that he didn't like this all too much either, the thought of losing his cousin not being a bright idea for him.

Barry Allen and Kara Danvers didn't deserve what was written for them.

I start to leave the cortex, Zee speaking up instantly, "Where are you going?"

I halt, "I have an idea."

"Just- get the book." I look towards Clark.

"And Barry and Kara?" Clark questioned.

"We need to hope destinies can be rewritten." I told them, leaving the cortex.

-

"Novu!" I shout after the apartment door is locked, staring at the 1A written on the white door, people screaming outside, "I know you're in there, you son of a bitch!"

"I'm not afraid of you. I'm not impressed by you. Stop with these games, and show yourself!" I shout, kicked the door, ending up right where Barry and I were earlier, my eyes landing on Novu, as we were stood on the sliver platform, nothing but space around us.

"So much passion. And hubris." He commented, looking at me, "To think, that if you just yell loud enough you can command a god."

"You're not a god." My jaw clenched, the anger inside me sparking.

"Yet, there isn't a name for what I am, so I suppose "god" will have to do." Novu stood straight, looking at me, "Your time is limited. I'm not sure what little remains is best spent making demands of me. I already told you what you had to do."

"I know what happens to Barry and Kara." I admit, staring at him dead in the eye.

He hums. "And now you're here in the faint hope I can alter it."

"Well, you just said you were a god." I recall, "Now, I don't think you're testing us to see if we're strong enough. I think you're testing us to see if we are good enough."

I step closer, "And I don't think, in any of the universes you've tested, that anyone has ever stood and confronted you like this."

"Yes." He nods, "You are the first in a multitude.

"I'm not who you need!" I raise my voice, "You said I'd pass the test if I knew my true self. My true self is filled with darkness. But Barry and Kara are different."

I continue, "They inspire hope. They inspire people because they are the best of us. And if this test of yours is gonna kill our best chance at stopping this crisis, well, as gods go, you're not a very smart one."

"The universe is a complex piece of machinery, and balance must be maintained." Novu looked at me, "One change requires another."

His next question puts me at complete edge, "How would you propose I keep the balance?"

-

[ zee's pov ]

"You can't just wear that symbol on your chest and call yourself a hero, Deegan." Clark spoke up, as we were both stood outside.

Clark taking care of Deegan, while I kept the people safe as best as I could.

"Our powers amplify who we are. And the way you've been using yours tells me you don't have the mettle for this." Clark stepped closer.

"No, you're wrong. I didn't think big enough." Deegan panted, "I won't make that mistake again."

Out of nowhere, AMAZO appears right next to Deegan, Clark using his heat vision at him, only for AMAZO to come back stronger, spending Clark flying and landing onto a car.

"You see?" Deegan stepped closer, his voice turning into a scream, "There is no defeating me! I am the master of this world!"

A breach opens, Brainy, Lois, and J'onn coming right through it.

"Blah, blah, blah." Lois mocks, holding some sort of huge hammer from the Fortress of Solitude, "That's a bit much, don't you think?"

"Honey?" Clark stared at her, his tone questionable.

"Yes, dear?" She looked at him.

"An enormous robot with the powers of Superman." Brainy stepped up, AMAZO shot heat vision at him, missing completely, "This is exciting."

"Thank you for including me." He thanked, then him and AMAZO were off into the air.

"I'll help Zee protect the civilians." J'onn told them, "Finish this."

"It's over, Deegan." Clark shouted, stood with Lois.

"No! I decide when the story ends!" Deegan shouted right back.

"I liked you better in blue." Lois said, hitting the huge hammer to the ground, light blinding us all, Deegan dropping the book.

I squeeze my eyes shut, using my force field to keep a mother and her child safe from an explosion.

Clark rushes to grab the book, only for Deegan to grab it first, aiming it at him, the blue light blasting Clark, causing him to fall to his knees, hitting Lois who was behind him, the blue light sending her flying, a scream leaving her lips.

"Lois-" Clark began to get up, to rush to catch her.

Suddenly, everything was slow motion. Clark was trying to rush to Lois, Lois falling, as I slowly tried to get up, everyone else running in slow motion.

Unexpectedly, Oliver shows up, standing on a floor above us, Deegan turning instantly to hit him with the book's power, only for Oliver to aim an arrow right for Deegan, it hitting the book, the entire thing exploding, sending him flying back.

What he was using as leverage to overpower everyone else, overpowered him, everything coming right back into motion, Clark catching Lois, Deegan turning into his normal self, completely destroyed.

Oliver came down, closing the burnt book, everything completely back to normal.

"Barry and Kara, they had more faith than I did." Clark spoke, as we slowly grouped together.

"Well, I don't Kara as well as I know Barry, but when things get tough, he doesn't slow down." Oliver nods, "He digs deep and runs faster."

"That's my cousin to a T." Clark nods.

On cue, Barry and Kara whoosh in, both panting heavy, fist bumping each other.

"Then you know why I had faith in them." Oliver nods, smiling.

"Does the book say anything about what I should do with this?" Brainy lands, AMAZO landing between us, holding something up, "Amazo's motherboard."

"So this is kind of becoming an annual thing, huh?" Kara looks at Barry as Barry fixed his shirt.

"God, I hope not." Barry admits, turning towards Oliver.

"Is that a-" Kara gasped, "Are you smiling?"

"I kind of like you guys." Oliver mumbles, his arms crossed, "Don't tell anyone."

"I hope to see you all again soon." J'onn shook Clark's hand.

"Preferably without giving Lois another reason to dive headfirst into danger." Clark nods.

"I dive where you dive, babe." Lois smiled at him.

"Zee, it was so nice seeing you, even though the circumstance." Kara walked over to me, engulfing me in a hug, a bubbly smile on her lips.

I held her tight, letting go of her, looking at her, "Always a pleasure.

Kara looks at Cisco, "Cisco, would you do the honors?"

"Anything for my favorite Kryptonian." Cisco types on the screen, "That's right. I have a favorite Kryptonian."

"Yes, a good choice." Brainy nods.

Cisco opens a breach, Kara smiling, "Well, until next time."

"Peace out from your favorite Kryptonian." Kara shot us peace signs, before they all heading into the breach.

"It's nice to be able to feel the effects of alcohol again." Oliver comments, sipping on his beer.

"Yeah." I nod, "Super speed has its pluses and its minuses."

"Always hungry. I was burning holes in my shoes." Oliver mentioned.

"You're not gonna miss anything about it?" I question.

Oliver sat up, "There were a few times where I was running so fast, it was like things were standing still Everything just felt really clear to me. I'm gonna miss that."

"Flashtime." I told him, "That's just what I call it."

"You really have a name for everything." Oliver chuckles.

"So I feel like I should be thanking you for something." I looked at Oliver, the look on his face causing him to speak up, "The Monitor. You talked to him, didn't you?"

He hums in response as I continue, "You got him to change our destinies somehow."

"You and Kara changed your destinies, Barry, by being the heroes that you always have been." Oliver told me, a grin forming on my lips at what I was hearing, as I sipped my beer.

"Hey, I've been you. I lived it. I felt it." Oliver backs up, "You're a good man."

I exhale, "So are you. Even if you don't want people to believe it."

"I'm not as good as you think I am." Oliver looks down, "But because of you, I think I'll get there someday."

I face him, "Should we hug it out?"

"No- no. And I really mean it this time." He points at me, "Twice, you've made me hug you. Okay? I mean it."

"All right." I nod.

"I will propose a toast." He held up the beer as I followed his actions, "To appreciating what you have, however long you might have it."

We touched beer bottles, taking a drink.

Oliver's phone vibrates, as he took it out of his pocket, standing up after looking at the screen, "Excuse me."

"You know, you're gonna have to let go of me at some point." Barry held me as we stood in the middle of our bedroom that night after his beer with Oliver.

"Well- some point isn't right now." I shrug, looking up at him.

"I can't argue with that one." Barry smiles down at me.

"You really scared me today." I admit, burying my face into his chest, taking in his scent.

"I know-" Barry's grip on me tightened, "But I'm here. I'm okay. I'm with you. That's all that matters."

"I'd tell you to not scare me like that again, but there's going to be so many more times that it'll happen." I admit the sad truth, looking up at him.

"Well, I'm here right now. Let's embrace that." Barry picks me up, tossing me onto the bed, a squeal leaving my lips, climbing on top of me.

"Seriously? You just defeated a Book of Destiny and it's "master" and you wanna do this?" I ask after he starts kissing my neck, "Don't you get tired?"

"I always wanna do this." His hands find my waist, as he smiles up at me boyishly.

I look up at the ceiling, "I've realized something."

"What is that?" Barry asked, pausing on kissing my neck.

"I have officially kissed the two hottest men that have ever existed." I spoke, "I have finally won at life."

"Oh my god-" Barry buries his face into my chest, "I don't want to think about Oliver kissing you right now-"

"I'm sorry- I had to say it-" I giggle quietly, my hands finding their way to his hair.

"Well, you're mine." Barry looks up at me, "And I hope nothing like this ever happens again. I can't stand the thought of Oliver touching you."

"Well, good thing I only got eyes for one." I whisper, bringing his face closer to mine, our lips connecting, the rest of the night, lacking both clothes and sleep.
