"So you're you." John starts to point, looking between Oliver and I.
"And you're you." Curtis does the same, staring at us.
"An immortal Egyptian, aliens, parallel earth Nazis-" John starts to say, placing his hands on his hips, "I have no idea why I'm even surprised at this point."
"I'm still trying to figure out if this is more like "Freaky Friday" or "Quantum Leap." Curtis spoke, looking between us once more.
"No." I shook my head, the nerd inside of me finding its way up to the surface, "If this were like "Quantum Leap," I'd only look like myself in the mirror."
"Yep." He nods, "You are definitely not Oliver Queen."
Kara spoke up, "We think that the red skies and these lightning strikes have to be related to whatever happened to Barry and Oliver somehow."
"We need you to solve the somehow while we're in Gotham." Oliver crosses his arms.
"No problem." Curtis nods, "I mean, ARGUS has all the best analytic toys, but what we really need is a pattern recognition algorithm, and, unfortunately, Felicity isn't-"
"I called Felicity." Oliver cuts him off.
"Wait, wait." John points at Oliver, "You called Felicity?"
"Yeah." Oliver nods.
"Right. Well, I guess that makes sense because technically, you are her husband." John slowly nods then looks into nothing, "I'm confused."
As if on cue, Felicity walks in, "I've been summoned?"
Oliver shoots me a look, causing me to clear my throat quick, looking down at her, "Yes. Thank you for coming."
"Of course." Felicity looks at me, her tone dropping, "I mean, things might be fraught between us, Oliver. That doesn't mean I'm not gonna show up."
"They are?" My eyebrows furrow in confusion, looking at Oliver, "They are?"
I clear my throat, looking at Felicity once more, my eyes squinting, not knowing what to say, "They are, yeah. Which is- sad."
"So, um, this lightning thing." Curtis cuts in, "Um, could you help me out with that? Can I kind of show you kind of what I'm thinking?"
"Yeah." Felicity nods, shooting me a look before leaving the room with Curtis.
"Okay." John stepped up, "So why didn't you tell Felicity?"
"Well, because we tried to tell everybody at Star Labs, and it didn't really go over so well." I began, scratching the back of my neck.
John begged the question, "What do you mean?"
"Dude-" My tone ranged high, "My wife managed to come up with a way to knock us both out and throw us in a cell."
Oliver clears his throat, "Felicity and I have enough problems as it is without introducing body swapping."
"I am now realizing what I said wasn't so relevant." I clear my throat, looking up at the ceiling.
"We thought we'd just let her think everything's normal and that Barry and I are solving another problem." Oliver explained.
"If you find out how this lightning thing relates to whatever it is that we're dealing with here, can you please tell us?" Kara asked.
"Copy that." John nods, "Hey. This thing isn't gonna be permanent, is it?"
I let out a deep sigh, blinking long and hard, the fear of that rising in me, but I kept it contained, having hope.
All I wanted right now is to be back with Zee. Her laughs and voice was all I wanted to hear, instead of all this insane reality swap crap.
I just wanted everything to go back to the way it was.
"I hope not." Oliver and I say in unison.
I point at him, "Jinx."
Kara and I start to walk through the hall, Oliver chasing after us, "Barry, there's something I'd like to discuss before we go."
I looked back at him as he came between us, "What's that?"
"That you probably shouldn't go." Oliver told me.
"What?" I ask, staring at him.
"Oliver Queen is a public figure and an infamous vigilante." Oliver began to explain, "If you are in Gotham City, you're attracting the type of attention that we don't want."
"No." I shook my head as we walked through the halls, "If Gotham can handle the Batman, it can handle the Green Arrow."
"The Batman's an urban legend." Oliver stated, his tone low.
"Wait." I pause, "You don't believe Batman's real?"
"He's not real." Oliver started, as I shot Kara a look, a humorous laugh leaving my lips, "He's an urban legend concocted by the Gotham police department to scare criminals. And I'm the original vigilante, Barry."
"Okay, if you guys are done fooling around-" Kara began.
I cut her off, looking at Oliver, "Actually, you know what? Could you pull that thing up? Because, unlike you, my identity's not public, and I'd like to keep it that way."
Oliver argued, "This isn't your real face!"
"It might end up being my real face if we don't sort this mess out, so could you?" My tone ranged high as we came to a stop.
Oliver huffs, pulling on the mask, "Happy?"
"Ecstatic." I roll my eyes, sarcasm dripping through my tone.
"Oh wow, Zee's sarcasm really rubbed off on you-" Oliver spoke,
"Hey, if you-" I point at him, only for Kara to cut us both off.
"Apparently, you guys aren't done fooling around." Kara grabs onto me, leaving ARGUS with me, carrying me as she flew, ending the conversation then and there.
-
"That is so awesome." I laugh deeply, after Kara sets me down on the roof, as I walked over to the ledge, "So this is Gotham. Doesn't look so tough to me."
"Where's Oliver?" Kara questioned, looking around, taking notice that we were the only ones here.
I shrug, "I don't know."
Right on time, Oliver runs over, circling the entire roof, Kara staring at him, "Guess he's still getting the hang of it."
Oliver stops in front of us, letting out a forced laugh, "I'm still getting the hang of it."
"All right." Kara said, walking over to where I was with Oliver, looking down at the roads, "So how do we find two people in a city of 1.6 million?"
"There is a radio personality named Vesper Fairchild." Oliver began, "She knows everyone in Gotham, and I know her. She was doing an exposé on white-collar crime back in the day, and I wanted to persuade her that Queen Consolidated was above board."
I roll my eyes lightly, glancing at him, "So you slept with her, right?
"No-" Oliver's tone turned high, before admitting, "I-I don't know."
"Gosh." Kara scoffed, "You really got around back in the day, didn't you?"
"Oh." I scoff right after her, in the tone that practically screamed to not get me started on this topic, "One time, Oliver cheated on his girlfriend with her sister."
"Barry!" Oliver called, as Kara let out sounds of disgust.
"What?" I ask, my tone high also, "You did!"
"So, what, depending on this past relationship with this woman, we might have to come up with a plan B, is that what you're saying?" Kara questioned.
"Yeah." Oliver exhales.
"Guys! Take a look at this." I called, walking over to something covered in a huge cloth, my hand grabbing the fabric, pulling it off, a huge light with the Batman symbol planted in the center, it dark due to being turned off, as I looked at Oliver, pointing at it, "You still think he's a myth?"
"Yeah! Let's go." Oliver turned away after looking at it, walking off.
I stare at the light, as I muttered to myself, "Batman's real."
-
"If I remember right, the radio station was this way." Oliver lead, walking between Kara and I.
I shove my hands into my pockets, "I'm surprised they put it in the bad part of town."
"It's cute how you think there's a good part of town." Kara rolls her eyes.
The sound of honking causes us to halt, as we looked back, two people getting out of a truck, being guarded, causing me to mutter, "Looks like the one percenters bring the good part with them."
"This is why nobody talks about Gotham, okay?" Oliver stated, "City might as well be dead."
"Sounds like you guys aren't from around here." A deep voice catches our attention, a man walking over to us, a few people behind him, "Probably don't know, but Gotham tourism bureau collects a tax on out of towners, so phones, wallets, watches now."
"You know what, fellas?" Oliver acted the part, "We don't want any trouble, so maybe we can just talk this out, okay?"
"Talk it out." The man laughs, then pulls out a gun, pointing it right at Oliver, "Okay. I'll talk first."
He shoots, only for Kara to use her speed to grab the bullet before it even touches Oliver, as she gapes at the bullet in her hand innocently.
I took action, grabbing the gun in the man's hands, elbowing him, doing a complete 360, hitting him in the face with the gun, grabbing him and slamming him to the ground, cocking the gun, aiming right at him, a hard look on my face, the bottom of my boot pressed against his throat as he helplessly laid on the ground.
As if on cue, GCPD pulls in, surrounding us, getting out their cars and aiming their guns at us, "On the ground now! All of you, on the ground! Show me your hands!"
Oliver and Kara obeyed, as did everyone else, as I remained stood in my position, breathing heavily through my mouth.
"Oh, crap." The officer's eyes land on me, as he presses a button on his walkie talkie, "I need SWAT at Nolan and Burton. Green Arrow sighted at Nolan and Burton."
"Sir, we don't want any trouble." Kara began.
He cut her off, "Yeah. Tell that to Oliver Queen here."
"Oliver, stand down." Oliver told me loud and clear.
I shot them all a look, stepping off the man, getting on my knees, dropping the gun, putting my hands behind my head, the officer coming up behind me first, handcuffing my wrists.

"We're gonna need Cisco's help on this one." Felicity's voice sounds as Cisco, Caitlin, Dig and I walk into the room her and Curtis were in after roaming the halls of ARGUS.
I was dressed in an simple white sweater, one that was tucked into my high waisted blue jeans, my legs exposed due to the many rips that I never seemed to put an end to, one of Barry's watches on my wrist, the necklace I wore every day dangling from my neck, white sneakers on my feet, my hair straight as per usual.
Cisco dramatically shouts, raising his hand, "I've been summoned!"
"Seriously?" I looked at him, holding my ear due to him practically screaming in my ear.
"That was a disturbingly coincidental entrance." Curtis chuckles.
"It wasn't coincidental." John exclaimed.
"We'd been getting the same red skies and freaky lightning in Central City, and I'll tell you this much- it wasn't speed force." Cisco's tone changed.
"Wait, wait. Hold up." Felicity pauses, ""We'd been," "wasn't," as in past tense?"
"Interestingly, the atmospheric phenomenon ceased the moment Barry and Oliver left Central City." Caitlin began.
"It's like it packed up its bags and followed them here." I gestured with my hands, "That's why we came. Since there wasn't much going on in Central City, we needed to find our entertainment elsewhere."
Cisco elbows me lightly because of my joke, causing me to clear my throat, Caitlin continuing, "The phenomenon has to be related to Barry and Oliver's-"
"Okay, Caitlin." John cut her off, putting a finger to his lips.
"Body swap?" Caitlin said hesitantly.
Curtis clears his throat, everyone slowly shifting into the awkward stage.
"I'm sorry-" Felicity looked between us all, "Body- body what?"
Cisco turned towards John, "You, uh you didn't tell her?"

"Um, excuse me, Officer." Oliver places his hands on the bars, "Were you able to get in touch with Laurel Lance at the Star City D.A.'s office?"
"Yeah. She said, uh, "I think a night in jail would do them some good."" The officer nodded at him, then looks away.
Oliver walks over to me, crouching over, looking down at me, his tone low, "What were you thinking?"
"That you were about to get yourself shot." I whispered back, "You're welcome."
"I was deescalating the situation, you know, like, uh-" Oliver began to argue.
"Like I would?" I question.
"Uh-huh!" He whispered the obvious.
"Guess what, man." I fought back in a whisper tone, "I handled it exactly how you would!"
"Okay." Kara got up, "You guys, maybe taking on each other's personalities worked for AMAZO, but you were not gonna talk your way out of getting mugged, and you escalated the situation way too fast."
I cross my arms, leaning back against the wall, "So what would you have done?"
"What I would have done is supersped us right out of there." She told us, "All they would have seen is a gust of wind."
"I mean, hindsight is 20/20, but we'll follow your lead next time." Oliver muttered.
"Because there will really be a next time when someone threatens 3 superheroes with a gun." Kara remarks, huffing.
"Good news." The officer came over, opening the cell, "Somebody posted your bail."
Kara begged the question, "Who?"
"I don't know." She shrugged, "Guess someone wanted to make you guys their headache instead of mine."
"We'll show ourselves out." Oliver said from behind Kara and I as we walked right out of there.
We came to a halt outside when a tall man dressed in a suit spoke, a black car behind him, "Please come with me."
"I'm guessing this belongs to whoever bailed us out." I stated the obvious, pushing my hands into my pockets.
"I really think we've had enough distractions for one night." Kara honestly said.
"Yeah. I agree with my friend." Oliver began, "We appreciate the early release, whatever, but we're really fine on our own."
The man moves his blazer to the side, showing the gun that rested in his holster, "I'm afraid my employer insists."
I scoff, looking up at the sky, "And you said it wouldn't happen again."
-
"Bruce Wayne got us out of jail?" Kara questioned, looking up at the building we had been dropped off at, "Doesn't sound like him."
"No, it wasn't." Oliver shook his head, "Wayne left Gotham 3 years ago."
"Why? To go where?" Kara followed up with another question.
"No one knows." Oliver shrugs.
"So who's manning the shop now?" I question, buttoning up my jacket.
Oliver gestures that he had no idea, and for us to lead the way, as we slowly stepped into the building.
"Apparently after he left, Bruce's board of directors went to town with a bunch of aggressive get-rich-quick deals." Oliver told us, looking around at the trashed place.
"Yeah, but an abandoned building didn't bail us out, right?" I slip my hands into my pockets.
Oliver hits my arm lightly, pointing up, my gaze following, my eyes landing on a woman.
"Whoa." Kara exhales, "That is definitely not Bruce Wayne."
The woman chuckles, looking down at me, "Oliver Queen."
I clear my throat, "Yeah, yeah. I'm Oliver Queen. And you are?"
"The rain on your parade." She shrugs, "If you're visiting Gotham to compare grappling hooks with Batman, you are out of luck. No one's seen him in years."
I turn and look at Oliver, a smile on my lips, "Told you."
"Myth." Oliver made it clear.
I looked at the woman as she came down by us, "I would never compare myself to a total badass like Batman."
"What I think Oliver is trying to say is thank you for getting us out of jail." Kara reworded.
"What Oliver's actually trying to say is who are you, and why are you helping us?" Oliver changed it up, questioning.
"Gotham has enough problems without a guy in green leather showing off his arrows to everyone, so the faster you find what you're looking for, the faster you can get the hell out of my city." She told us straight forward, the smirk on my lips forming.
"Uh, but, what what should we call you Rain, Ms.
Parade?" Kara asked.
"Kane, Kate Kane." She introduced, turning, walking towards the elevator, as we all followed right after her.
-
[ zee's pov ]
"You didn't tell her?" Caitlin questioned instantly once we were alone with John and Curtis.
"Oliver- the actual Oliver thought they had enough problems with Felicity already." Curtis explained.
"Oh, and you didn't think to loop us in on the fact that you were keeping the "Freaky Friday" situation on the hush?" Cisco asked, staring between them.
"I was thinking it was more like "Quantum Leap." I mean-" Curtis told us.
Cisco started, "No. If this were like "Quantum Leap," they'd only look like themselves when they see themselves in the mirror-"
"Guys-" I shut them both up by cutting in, "Shouldn't we concentrate on what this lightning came from?"
Catching us all off guard, Felicity walks in, all of us clearing our throats at once.
"Okay, guys." Felicity stares at us, "You don't need to tip-toe around me. It's just a lot to process. It's not every day that you find out that your ex is your husband and vice-versa."
"Yeah. Zee was, pretty freaked out, too, when she sussed it out." Cisco commented, looking down.
"Wait. Zee-" Felicity began, only to be cut off.
"You know, actually, Zee- right before you came in, Zee was just saying that we need to really handle that lightning-" Curtis started to ramble.
Felicity stops him, her eyes glued to me, "Zee, you were able to tell that something was off with Barry?"
"I- no-" The words seethed through my teeth, not knowing what to tell her.
"Oh, totally." Cisco spoke for me, cutting me off, "I mean, it was like lover's intuition. That's how you can tell these two were meant for each other-"
"Cisco-" I hit his arm lightly, staring at him with wide eyes, guilt filling within me.
"You know, Felicity, um, there's something very strange going on here, so I wouldn't take this as a commentary on you and Oliver's marriage." John spoke up, putting it in perfect words for me.
"No. My marriage with Oliver is strained by the fact that we've become different people- quite literally in Oliver's case." Felicity cleared her throat, then changes the subject, walking through us, "If the lightning strikes are attempted dimensional breaches, there might be a way to stabilize the quantum flux to allow whatever's trying to get through to get through, right?"
"Yeah." We agree with her instantly, as she starts to type away on her computer.
-
[ barry's pov ]
"How'd it go with Vesper?" Kara questioned as I walked onto the roof by her, Oliver and Kate.
"She hung up on me." I kept my hands in my pockets, "Apparently, I did sleep with her."
"The building is under renovation, so this is the best place for you guys to work out of." Kate began to walk away, "Oh, and the, uh, Wi-Fi password's "Alfred.""
"So if Vesper's not gonna help us, we're just back at square one." Kara huffs.
"No, we're not." Oliver showed us a device, "I lifted this off of a computer at the precinct. It should have the entire GCPD database."
"You stole data from the police?" I stare at him.
"No-" Oliver shook his head, "No. The Flash did it."
Oliver walks to the other side of the roof, a smile falling onto Kara's lips as she covers her mouth, trying to hold back her laughter.
I look at her, "It's not funny."
She swallows, "I'm not laughing."

"Did you lose the coin flip on who has to come talk to me?" Felicity instantly asked, looking up from her computer and at me as I slowly walked into the room she was seated in.
"We didn't flip coins. We drew straws." I told her, sitting in a chair by her, "I'm kidding."
Felicity pathetically chuckles, "So what words of wisdom do you have for me?"
"That I probably have a little bit more experience with alternate realities and maybe that's why I saw something that you didn't?" I stated in a questionable tone, sitting up straight, "I mean- Central City is home of the impossible. We've dealt with different Earth's and- doppelgangers- and even the timeline."
"Why did you quit being a reporter again?" Felicity lightly jokes, folding her hands together.
I weakly smile at her, "As for Oliver keeping you in the dark, when he and Barry tried to tell us what was going on with them, we knocked them unconscious and locked them in the pipeline."
"Seriously?" Felicity gapes at me.
"It wasn't Team Flash's finest moment." I put a strand of my hair behind my ear, "I'm sure that that's the reason that Oliver didn't want to take any chances with you. I mean, come on- you're Felicity Smoak, you're a complete badass. Who could imagine what you would do if he told you all of a sudden?"
"I appreciate you saying that-" Felicity began, "But it's just another excuse in a long list of excuses for Oliver's behavior."
"Oliver does love you, Felicity." I assured her, grabbing her hand.
"Yeah?" She held my hand, tears filling her eyes, her voice shaky, "Well, what's love without respect or trust?"
"I don't know, but as long as there is love, you can't give up on it." I softly told her, "Barry and I crossed that road before- and now we're married. You can't give up on it- because it's more than worth it. That's the one thing I do know after everything I've been through."
"Thank you." She sniffles, smiling at me, "Well, one good thing about what's going on is that I have something to distract me."
She turns her laptop towards me, "Look at this."
I stare at the screen, "So, uhm- this is where you start explaining the smarts behind whatever that is-"
"It's a quantum flux anchor." Felicity told me, "I'm pretty sure if we build it, whoever's trying to breach through will come."
I jump up, "I'll get Cisco."
-

"You really know your way with a computer." Kara comments from next to me as we watched Oliver typed away on the laptop in front of him.
"Well, when I was first starting out, I had to hold my own before Felicity showed up." Oliver explained, then pulling something up, "Got him. John Deegan."
"Oh. Illegal experimentation, torture." Kara read, "Seems like he was conducting experiments on his own patients' brains."
I remark, "Sounds like a real charmer."
"Well, he was acquitted." Oliver typed, "All the charges were dropped on technicalities."
"So where can we find him now?" Kara questioned.
"No known address." Oliver told her.
I follow up, "What about employment?"
"Well, he was fired, suspended by the medical board for two years, but that was 5 years ago." Oliver exclaimed.
Kara inhales deeply, "So, no idea where to find him."
"No." Oliver bluntly answered.
"Except somewhere in Gotham." I look at the city, "Needle in haystack."
"All right." Kara starts to walk away.
"Where you going?" Oliver asks, looking at her.
"I'm gonna put on my work clothes and do an X-ray flyby of the city." Kara told us.
"I don't think miss Kate would be too thrilled with us running around her city." I exclaimed.
"Well, unless she has some kryptonite stashed somewhere, I'm really not worried." Kara walks away, disappearing.

[ zee's pov ]
"What the hell is this?" John asked loudly as we were stood outside the facility, gesturing towards the bazooka type machine that was made, the red lightening ripping in the sky.
"No offense, but you'd need like 5 Ph.Ds for the dumbed-down version." Felicity spoke loudly, typing on her tablet.
"How about the very dumbed-down version?" questioned John, staring at the lightning.
"It's a quantum flux anchor that utilizes wave theory to fire nano-particulates across an Einstein-Rosen bridge to create a secure claxon field." Felicity explained in one breath.
I clear my throat, "How about the very, very, dumbed-down version?"
"Felicity made a magnet that will draw whoever's trying to breach through to us." Caitlin explained.
"You could have just said that." John shrugs from beside me.
"All right. Field's stable." Curtis called out.
"All readings are in the green. You guys are good to go." Cisco's voice came in through the comms, "I'm reading multiple quantum surges."
"I don't think this is working!" John shouts from beside me, the wind ripping through our hair as it grew stronger.
"This is what working looks like!" shouted Curtis, as we awaited some sort of result.
Suddenly, a breach opens in front of us, a man in some sort of Flash suit yelling, cutting in and out, "Ca- you- hear me?"
"You've got to get the book." He shouts, trying to get through to us.
"Jay?" Caitlin calls out from next to me, staring at the breach.
"Only- book-" He cut in and out, "Make this right. If you get the book, you can fix this."
The breach disappears, the storm fading, Curtis speaking up, "Am I the only one who thought that was very cool?"
-
Cisco breached us right in front of Arkham Asylum where Barry, Oliver, and Kara stood, startled at the sudden drop in.
"Sorry for the scare- but we got new intel." I ran a hand through my hair, looking between them.
A smile falls onto Barry's lips, shocked to see me, "Zee, hey-"
Oliver shot him a look, as Barry cleared his throat, shoving his hands in his pockets, "Not is not the time, I see that now."
I purse my lips to hide a smile, as Caitlin spoke, "Those lightning strikes, they were a Flash from another dimension trying to breach to us."
"We think it was Jay Garrick or a Jay Garrick." Cisco began to explain, "He said to fix the situation, we have to "get the book.""
"John Deegan was reading a book in the drawing Oliver drew." Kara mentioned.
"Okay." Oliver nods, "So we find the book in there or we find Deegan, and we make him tell us where it is."
"Wait, wait- hold on." Barry pauses, "Another Flash from a parallel universe just lightnings in, tells us to jump, and we ask, how high?"
"If I told you to jump, would you ask how high?" The words slip out of my mouth instantly.
"I mean, yeah-" Barry started.
I cut him off, "Well, I'm telling you to jump."
Barry purses his lips to hold back a smile, turning his head away.
John puts a hand on my shoulder, "What Zee means is- if we want to sort this thing out, then yes."
"I have no idea how we're gonna break into a mental asylum." Oliver mutters.
"I have some ideas." Kara nods.
-
"Uh, how can I help you?" The woman behind the desk asked as Kara pushed me in a wheelchair, my wrists cuffed to the arms, Caitlin following behind.
"New patient transfer from Gotham Central Hospital." Kara told her, "Dr. Snow said Arkham was the more appropriate place to treat her- condition."
"What's the diagnosis?" The woman eyed me.
"Persistent thermal homeostasis with, uh, voluntary torrid substantiation." Caitlin explained, crossing her arms.
The woman stared, Kara speaking up quickly, "She gets hot and burns stuff."
The woman looked at me, as I kept a straight hard look on my face, my eyes shining crystal white, my jaw clenched, my eyebrow raising.
"Yeah. We got a few of those in here like that." She handed Kara a clipboard with a paper on it, "Fill this out."
Soon enough, Kara was pushing me through the halls of the Asylum, looking around, Caitlin right next to us.
Suddenly, the alarms start to blare, catching all of our attention. I pull the cuffs off, standing up.
"What's happening?" questioned Caitlin, looking around.
"Trouble." Kara ripped open her shirt, switching into her work clothes, flying off.
I nod towards Caitlin, heading down the hall and into the main room, my eyes landing on Dig standing at the other side, inmates running through the halls.
He nods towards me before taking action, my eyes shining crystal white as I blasted every inmate I saw, dodging and punching back every inmate that tried something on me.
Suddenly, Oliver runs right through, grabbing every inmate and tossing them back into their cells.
I cool down, running off, finding Caitlin in the way, as we made our way into another room, our sight falling upon another woman, looking through different things, "Fries, fries, fries, fries. Come on. Where is it?"
"Are you okay?" Caitlin questioned from beside me as we slowly neared her.
"My cryostasis shut off when the locks did. I- I need to be cold." She stuttered, "196 below zero. 196, he said."
She grabbed onto something, "How does this thing work?"
"All right- maybe you should just take a step back." I began, taking a step closer to her.
"Just get away from me!" She shrieked, blasting both Caitlin and I with some sort of gas.
Killer Frost sparks up in Caitlin, as she stared at him, "You cold bitch."
My eyes shifted into its crystal white stage once more, as Killer Frost started to throw cold blasts at her, as I followed her lead, as the woman dodged them, grabbing some sort of gun, aiming towards us.
"Guys, we could use some back up-" Killer Frost said into the comms, as we looked at the woman who stared right back at us.
"On it-" Barry and Oliver's voice came one by one through the comms.
"Listen to me." Killer Frost hesitated, putting her hands up in surrender, as I backed down also, the woman using the gun in her hands to blast her.
Before I could do anything, she aimed right at me, pulling the trigger, the sound of an arrow being fired, my body hitting someone's chest hard, an arm around me tight, being lifted off the ground, the blast hitting something else instead of me.
My head snaps up, landing on Barry Allen, holding me close to his chest, looking down at me as we hung from the wire, the grappling gun held tight in his hand.
"Are you okay?" He looked down at me, concern flashing in his eyes, "Did she get to you?"
"I'm fine-" I held onto his muscular body tight, "Thanks for the save."
He hops down, still holding me tight, after Oliver runs in, as I let go of Barry, rushing over to Caitlin, who was knocked out on the ground, "Caitlin-"
Oliver began to run, ready to throw a lightning bolt at the woman, Barry trying to stop him, shouting after realizing what he was about to do, "Wait. No, Oliver. Hey. Remember what happened in Central-"
It was too late, Oliver had thrown the lightning bolt, as it hit everywhere, the woman running out, a box of some sort falling onto the ground, many vials of a substance breaking, sizzling sounding the room, fog filling up the air as I stayed by Caitlin's side.
-
[ barry's pov ]
"Oliver-" I call out, coughing through the fog, "Oliver!"
"Oliver's not here." Malcolm Merlyn stepped into the fog, looking right at me, "In fact- no one's coming to save you."
"You should have killed me when you had the chance. You left me to die on Lian Yu." He chuckled, "Unfortunately for you- I didn't."
I threw a punch, as I was now fist fighting with Malcolm Merlyn, trying my best to beat him.
"Come on." He laughs, punching me, "You can do better than that."
He looks at me dead in the eye after punching me once more, "You're a killer, a depraved monster who found a way to channel his darkness and pat himself on the back for it!"
He continued, as I tried to fight back, only for him to overpower me, "Your father took the coward's way out, and all these years, you told yourself it was brave, but he was a coward just like you."
"Selfish." He hit me once more, shaking his head, looking at me with pure hatred, "Pathetic."
-
[ zee's pov ]
Caitlin slowly sat up, my eyes glued to what was happening in front of me after the fog had cleared up, seated on the ground next to Caitlin, one leg folded, one straight.
"Does anybody copy?" I pressed on the comms, staring at Oliver and Barry fight each other, "Because I think we have a new problem."
"What the hell is going on?" Caitlin questioned from next to me, staring at them also.
"I have no idea-" I stare, my sight taking in Barry shooting an arrow, "Wait, that was hot-"
"Zee-" Caitlin began.
I clear my throat, "I mean- crap- this isn't good."
Suddenly, our eyes land on a woman standing behind them, staring at them both. She wore a suit, her hair a pinkish red. I had no idea who she was, but I knew one thing. She wasn't Batman.
"Who the hell are you?" questioned Caitlin as our eyes were now glued to her.
The woman stays silent, jumping up, separating Oliver and Barry from each other, their bodies jerking back and falling onto the ground.
"No- seriously, who are you?" I stumble onto my feet, staring at the woman who landed on her feet a few inches away from Caitlin and I.
"Your friends were exposed to a powerful hallucinogen." The woman stood to her feet after looking at a full vial of what had broken, Caitlin pushing onto her feet also.
Caitlin looks at Barry and Oliver, "Are you guys all right?"
I suddenly realize what had just happened, going over to Barry instantly, helping him up, as he let out grunts in pain.
Oliver clears his throat, "Define all right."
-
"So how does a book make people change bodies?" Caitlin questioned as we all made our way out of the asylum.
"Deegan said he was using the book to change reality." Oliver told us.
"Same question." Cisco spoke.
I repeat, "How does a book change reality?"
"We'll figure that out when we get back to Star City." Barry exclaimed from next to me.
"Guys, we're gonna need some help with this lock." John held the book.
"Good." The unknown woman that had saved our asses stood in front of us, "Then you'll be leaving Gotham. You guys have caused enough problems for one night."
"Hey-" Barry spoke, his tone hesitant and low, slight hope in his tone, his eyes squinting as he looked at her, "Would hitching a ride in the Batmobile be out of the question?"
"Oh my god-" I facepalm.
"Get Out." She emphasized, her hard look sending us.
"Come on- lets go-" I grabbed his wrist, pulling him away from everyone.
-
"Oh." Felicity comments as we walked into ARGUS, "Look who finally came back."
"With what looks like a fairly infamous book." Curtis walks in also, looking at the book John held.
"A book with a cryptographic lock on it." Caitlin tells, as I stood next to Felicity.
"Can you get to work on opening it, please?" Oliver questioned.
"We don't have a lot of time." John hands me the book.
"Okay-" My tone dropped at how unexpectedly heavy it was, turning, holding the book with one arm, my other arm raising to the air, my pointer finger gesturing, "Geek squad, form up on me-"
Caitlin, Cisco, Felicity and Curtis follow me into another room, as we sat there for a few minutes, trying to figure out how to unlock it, even if I didn't understand the science behind it.
"Not only is the lock cryptographic-" Caitlin began.
"It's metaphysical." Curtis finishes for her, "The readings I'm getting off this thing are nuts and, yes, that's a technical term."
Oliver walked in, "Um, may I speak with Felicity for a minute?"
We all took it as the cue to leave, as we all started to leave the room.
"Sure thing, Barry- Oliver- B-oliver." Cisco stammered, as I put my hands on his forearms, pushing him forward a little, rushing out the room.
We part ways, roaming the halls and rooms of ARGUS for a little bit, giving Oliver and Felicity their time to talk it out.
During my little snoop, Barry Allen steps into the room, a soft smile on his face as he looks at me.
"Hi-" I smile weakly, leaving what I was looking at and walking over to him instantly.
"Hey, you-" His tone is gentle, looking down at me, "How are you doing?"
"What do you mean?" I ask, running a hand through my hair.
"With all this- switched realities stuff." Barry's eyes stayed connected with mine, "And you know, being in Star City- and pretending you were a patient to sneak into Arkham-"
"Are you going to list all the badass things I've witnessed today?" I question, a smile lingering on my lips, "Because- I didn't know how much I needed to see Barry Allen in the Green Arrow's leather."
Barry grabs my hand habitually, dragging out my name, "Zee-"
"I'm fine." I softly squeezed his hand, "I'm just hoping this will all be over soon."
"Yeah-" Barry intentionally pulled me into him, "I kinda really miss our bed."
"Oh yeah?" I roll my eyes playfully.
"Yeah-" Barry softly laughs, wrapping his arms around me, his chin resting on my head.
I smile to myself, wrapping my arms tightly around him, looking through the glass, seeing Felicity and Oliver kiss.
"Oh my god- they're kissing-" I quietly squeal, "They made up-"
Barry shushed me, laughing once more, holding onto me, "It comforts me that even with switched realities, I can always find my way home to you."
"You'll always find your way back home." I weakly smile up at him.
He kisses my head, my attention snapping towards Oliver and Felicity when they break apart due to someone coming out of a breach.
Barry and I rush in, as Kara and John, my eyes staring at the Flash from another Earth, "Jay?"
"No." The man shook his head.
"Oh, my god." Barry quietly gasped, "Dad?"
"My name is Barry Allen." He introduced, looking between all of us.
"Wait, are you kidding me?" The words slip out of my mouth unintentionally, resulting in Barry wrapping his arms around me, his arm pressing against my lips to shut me up.
"Hello, John." The man who claimed to be Barry looked at John.
John stammered, "Do- do I know you?"
"You're not wearing your ring." He noticed, "Things must be different here."
Oliver spoke up, "Barry, where's there?"
"My earth, Earth 90." He spoke, "I've traveled from there to warn you."
"Warn us about what?" Kara asked.
"His name is Mar Novu, but he calls himself the monitor now." He explained, "He's been unleashing the Book of Destiny across the multiverse to test different earths."
"Test them for what?" Barry asks, staring at him.
"A crisis that he believes is coming." He continued, "Novu thinks the elseworlds created by the Book of Destiny approximates the collision of realities that we're facing."
"Guys-" Cisco runs in, pulling something up, looking at us, his eyes landing on Earth 90's Barry Allen, his voice cracking in confusion, "We got a situation-?"
"Cisco." Oliver clears his throat.
Cisco pointed at the screen, "That- that's him from the vibe."

[ barry's pov ]
"Mar Novu, you're gonna stand down." I call out, as we walked right towards the danger, as I was sided with The Earth 90 version of myself, Oliver and Kara.
"You're gonna use that book to help us set reality right." Oliver demanded.
"Well, I certainly wouldn't have placed it in Deegan's hands if that were my intent." Mar Novu said, not moving from where he stood.
"Enough." Earth 90's Barry Allen shouted, "You will not do to this earth what you did to mine."
"I admire your persistence, Barry." Mar Novu exclaimed.
He ran towards him, Mar Novu breaching that version of myself right out of sight.
"He said you were testing us." Oliver stated.
"Indeed, and thus far, I am unimpressed. A crisis is imminent." Mar Novu spoke, "Someone is coming, someone far, far more powerful than myself. I mean to prepare."
I remark, my tone loud and deep, "By giving a nut bar an all-powerful reality-rewriting book?"
"I am testing universes to find one, I hope, strong enough to stand against him." Mar Novu explained.
"You're causing chaos, and you're blaming everyone else!" Oliver raised his voice.
"In the hope of finding the champions that would save the multiverse entire." Mar Novu inhaled, "You are the first of those I've placed under fire who have managed to retrieve the Book of Destiny- for all the good it did you."
"Enough of this." Oliver looked to his side, "Kara?"
"Yeah. I'd love to." Kara steps up, only to be breached back to where she stood before.
"You show potential." Mar Novu spoke, before disappearing into a breach, "Let us see if it's anything more."
Oliver looked at me, "What is he talking about, Barry?"
I silently stammer, not knowing what to say.
Suddenly, everything flashes white, my eyes squeezing shut at the pain.
My eyes open, as I took in my surroundings, Oliver next to me, dressed in the same clothes I was dressed in, bandanas around our necks, black leather jackets on over white t shirts, black jeans and boots, chains hanging from the belt loop, "What the hell? Where'd he go?"
"He went to give Deegan the book back." Oliver dragged out.
"How do you know?" I ask, Oliver picking up a newspaper on the ground, our faces plastered on it.
"He did it again." I took the newspaper from him, Trigger Twins written right above our pictures, "He rewrote reality. How far do you think the changes go this time?"
The sound of police sirens catches our attention, Central City police pulling up behind us, making me drop the newspaper, swerving to a stop, three cops getting out, aiming guns at us, only for it to be the villains being the cops, the roles being reversed, "Freeze! On the ground! Now!"
"Uh-" I began once Oliver and I got on our knees, putting our hands up in surrender, "Speed us out of here."
"I can't." Oliver admits, "Can you?"
"Nope." I shook my head.
"Oliver Queen." Diaz chuckled, walking behind Oliver, "I've been waiting to do this for a long time."
Oliver takes action, grabbing the gun, overpowering Diaz, shooting at the two other officers who were Malcolm Merlyn and Joe Wilson, knocking Diaz out, turning around, making a run for it.
"Should I follow you?" I panic, jumping to my feet, running right after Oliver as we came to a stop somewhere, Clark Kent landing on the ground in front of us, only his suit completely black.
He stood up, looking at us, "There's no place you can run where I can't find you. It's over."
